Rambolek To Make First Defense Of ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai World Title Against Yod-IQ At The Inner Circle 30

Rambolek Chor Ajalaboon barely had time to warm the seat of the throne before his first challenger came calling.

The ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai World Champion will defend his belt for the first time against Yod-IQ Or Pimolsri at The Inner Circle 30 on Friday, September 11, inside Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.

Rambolek steps into the bout that will go down exclusively for members of The Inner Circle on live.onefc.com after capturing the gold from Nabil Anane at The Inner Circle 7 on March 20.

The Thai began his ONE Championship journey on the ONE Friday Fights circuit before steamrolling his way to the promotion’s global events. Once there, he blasted through four of his five opponents.

But it was Rambolek’s performance against Abdulla Dayakaev at ONE Fight Night 39 that earned him a shot at Anane’s divisional crown. Going into the fight, Dayakaev had stopped his previous four opponents by knockout, with only one of those victims making it to the second round.

Needless to say, Rambolek came in against Dayakaev as the heavy underdog. But the Superbon Training Camp fighter displayed technical brilliance, knocking out β€œSmash Boy” in the second round to prove a muay femur can excel in today’s faster-paced Muay Thai format.

Afterward, he stepped up as the first fighter to challenge then-ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai World Champion Anane. The man with the wiriest frame in the promotion hadn’t lost in nine fights over the course of two terrifying years while competing across different sports.

But Rambolek sent Anane crashing to the canvas to secure a unanimous decision win and walk out of Lumpinee Stadium with 26 pounds of gold. The Thai technician then turned his focus inward, entering monkhood for a short period of gratitude and reflection.

Now he returns to The Inner Circle 30 with a clear mind and even clearer mission – to take out Yod-IQ, who will present a whole new set of challenges.

Yod-IQ earned his shot at the strap on the back of 10 straight victories over fighters such as Kiamran Nabati, Alexey Balyko β€” which earned him a US$100,000 contract and a spot on ONE’s main roster – and the aforementioned Dayakaev.

Like Rambolek, Yod-IQ also started competing in the ONE Friday Fights circuit, consistently building his resume for a six-figure contract while training alongside friend-slash-mentor and ONE Featherweight Muay Thai World Champion Tawanchai PK Saenchai.

In fact, it has been Yod-IQ’s mission to turn himself into a similarly destructive force. So fans can expect an even more dangerous version of the PK Saenchai Muaythaigym fighter when he squares up against the glittering Rambolek on September 11.
