Inter offer new De Vrij deal, while Acerbi targeted by Monza
While Inter have reportedly offered a new short-term contract for Stefan de Vrij, itβs possible Francesco Acerbi could stay in Serie A with Monza.
There are several players whose contracts are set to expire on June 30 after securing the Scudetto and Coppa Italia Double this season.
They include De Vrij and Acerbi, whose futures are still to be decided.
Inter defenders unsure of next move

According to transfer pundit Fabrizio Romano, the Nerazzurri have made a proposal for De Vrij to remain at San Siro for one more season.
He has been at the club since 2018, when he was also a free agent leaving Lazio, and just turned 34 in February.
Injuries have been a recurring problem, but the Netherlands international still made 17 competitive appearances in the current campaign.
De Vrij has other offers on the table from outside Italy, so he will evaluate them all together.

On the other hand, Acerbi could stay within Serie A next season after all, because Calciomercato suggest that he has been approached by Monza.
The club just earned promotion via the play-offs and could do with someone of his undoubted experience.
Now 38 years old, Acerbi has no intention of hanging his boots up yet, and had been linked with Al-Hilal.
That would represent a reunion with his former Lazio and Inter coach Simone Inzaghi.
However, purely as a lifestyle choice, he might be more inclined towards Monza.
