Logitech is expanding its G3 Series lineup with the G316 X 98 wired mechanical gaming keyboard, launching alongside the new G305 X Superlight wireless mouse. The keyboard will cost $119.99 and is scheduled to release on June 30, 2026. It will be available in standard black and white color options.

The keyboard features a 98% layout, which includes a number pad while taking up slightly less desk space than a standard full-size board. It supports an 8,000Hz polling rate to lower input latency, a specification aimed primarily at competitive PC gamers.

Logitech offers two switch options at checkout: a tactile switch with a 2.2mm actuation distance and 55g of force, and a linear switch with a 1.9mm actuation distance and 40g of force. The board is hot-swappable, so you can replace the stock switches with standard cross-hatch stem alternatives later on if you want to change how the typing feels.

The G316 X uses a gasket-mounted structure and also includes internal sound-dampening layers designed to reduce metallic ping and create a more muted typing sound. In the top right corner, there is a dot-matrix LED display that shows system settings. You can use the physical dial next to it to adjust volume, media playback, brightness, and the keyboard’s report rate without needing to open any software.

The G316 X comes with PBT keycaps, which generally resist the oily shine that develops on cheaper plastic keycaps over time. For lighting, it has per-key RGB and a light bar with 30 customizable zones, both controlled through Logitech’s G Hub software. You also use G Hub to enable the 8 kHz polling rate, set up custom macros, remap keys, and configure game mode settings.

The keyboard weighs 880 grams without its 1.8-meter cable (920 grams with the cable) and measures about 15.1 inches wide by 5.5 inches deep. It connects to your computer via a standard USB-A port and is compatible with systems running Windows 10 or newer, as well as macOS 12 or newer.

Logitech launches new G305 X Superlight gaming mouse with 44,000 DPI and 8,000Hz polling support

Logitech G G305 X Superlight

Logitech is updating one of its most popular entry-level wireless gaming mice. The company has announced the G305 X Superlight, a revamped version of the classic G305 that significantly cuts down on weight and introduces modern internal hardware, all while maintaining an accessible $79.99 price point.

The original G305 was heavy compared to most current gaming mice, largely because it required a disposable AA battery. The G305 X Superlight switches to a built-in rechargeable battery, which helps bring the total weight down to 59 grams. Logitech is also using exposed screws on the exterior of the mouse chassis. The company says this design choice is intended to make the mouse easier to open and repair, which should help extend its usable lifespan.

Inside, Logitech has swapped in a newer HERO sensor. It supports up to 44,000 DPI, handles acceleration over 40G, and tracks at 678 inches per second. The standard polling rate is 1,000Hz using the included USB-A receiver. If you prefer a higher polling rate for lower input latency, the mouse is compatible with Logitech’s PRO Wireless Receiver, which is sold separately and pushes the rate up to 8,000Hz.

For connectivity, the mouse supports three modes: Logitech’s proprietary 2.4GHz Lightspeed wireless, standard Bluetooth, and a wired connection via USB-C. Logitech estimates the battery will last for about 130 hours of continuous use on a full charge. It also supports fast charging, where plugging it in for two minutes provides around three and a half hours of battery life.

The rest of the feature set is standard for this price bracket. It has six programmable buttons, a standard scroll wheel, and onboard memory that can store up to five user profiles. You can adjust the DPI, button mapping, and the Lightsync RGB lighting using the Logitech G Hub desktop software.

The mouse incorporates post-consumer recycled plastic in its construction, 65% for the black model and 51% for the white model. The G305 X Superlight will be available for purchase on June 30, 2026.

In related news, Logitech has recently unveiled its first foldable portable mouse, featuring a unique design that folds in half for easier carrying and slips comfortably into a pocket when not in use.
