Samsung One UI 9 Beta 3 brings important changes and fixes; check all
Samsung One UI 9 Beta 3 is now widely available for Galaxy S26 users in six countries, and it comes with 9 important changes and bug fixes.
The patch notes carry two improvements and seven bug fixes. The improvements are tied to Privacy Display and Camera, while the fixes span across various aspects of the operating system that directly influence the user experience.
Samsung One UI 9 Beta 3 β Changes and Fixes
One UI 9 Beta 3 sorted out Privacy Display errors tied to routines and Quick Panel toggling.Β 30x zoom focus accuracy has been improved, which matters more than it sounds on a phone built around its optics.
Improvements:
- Improved errors related to the Privacy Display when setting Routines or toggling the Quick Panel ON/OFF

There was a cropping bug that cut off part of the camera preview under certain conditions. Widget data, including weather and battery percentage, wasnβt refreshing properly on the lock screen.
The S Pen couldnβt swipe between home screen pages and My Files had a scroll bug that stopped users from reaching the bottom of a file list.
Fixes:
- Fixed an issue where part of the Camera preview screen was cropped under certain conditions
- Fixed an issue where Widget information, such as Weather and Battery on the lock screen, was not updating correctly
- Fixed an issue where the home screen would not swipe left or right when using the Pen
- Fixed an issue in the My Files app where the file list could not be scrolled to the end
The background turning white during calls, while the status bar pulling down to a black screen. Whatβs more: the phone rebooting once during video streaming.
Important fixes:
- Fixed an issue where the background screen would intermittently turn White when receiving a call
- Fixed an issue where the device would reboot once during video streaming
- Fixed an issue where the background would appear Black when pulling down the status bar
Beta 3 itself is a huge update, but Samsung may not close the Beta Program anytime soon. Galaxy S26 users can expect the Beta 4 release by the end of the month or early next month.
