Galaxy S27 Pro rumors give Samsung fans reason to skip the S26

23 June 2026 at 09:31

Samsung is running a festive season sale in South Korea, and bargain hunters are rushing to buy the Galaxy S26 flagship. Well, shoppers are also confused whether to grab the Galaxy S26 right away or wait until the Galaxy S27 Pro arrives.

Consumers are afraid of a price hike on the Galaxy S27 series. The Galaxy S26 series has already become costlier than before, but Samsung’s seasonal sales are encouraging them to make their purchase with discounts.

Samsung is running a “Thanksgiving Festival with the People” through July 5 at over 1,000 online and offline retailers in South Korea. The shopping event offers a 20 percent rebate in digital Onnuri gift vouchers.

Even though the program is gaining traction, shoppers are getting stuck mid-calculation. They are finding the Galaxy S26 deal impressive, but the rumors of the Galaxy S27 Pro model are leading many to hold off on purchase.

Galaxy S27 Pro could bring a portable design with a 6.47-inch screen. The company is also testing Privacy display on the device, with a camera module expected to boast a 3.5x telephoto sensor along with two 50MP main and ultrawide.

Shoppers who are not in a rush are patiently waiting for the Galaxy S27 reveal. Ultra would be trending as always, but the Pro model is gaining special attention from the tech community given its Ultra-style specifications.

The month of June is about to end, and Samsung is gearing up for its Summer Unpacked. The event lands in late July, bringing three new foldable smartphones, two smartwatches, and an intelligent eyewear (smart glasses).

Samsung may launch two Privacy display phones in 2027: Galaxy S27 Pro and Ultra

22 June 2026 at 11:05

Privacy Display is one of the most discussed mobile innovations of 2026. Samsung launched the Galaxy S26 Ultra with a hardware-level Privacy display feature, and if the rumors are true, the Galaxy S27 Pro may also bring this technology.

Samsung’s Privacy display feature is an innovative masterpiece. It’s backed by Samsung Display’s Flex Magic Pixel OLED technology. One UI atop hardware allows some decent tools to meet personal preferences.

Galaxy S26 Ultra is the first phone that comes with such a feature. When enabled, the OLED tweaks pixel lighting to dim the screen visibility from side views. It safeguards the on-screen content for others, while keeping the panel visible for the user.

Two Privacy display phones in 2027

Weibo leaker DCS revealed that Samsung is testing Privacy display on the Galaxy S27 Pro. The feature hasn’t been finalized yet, so we aren’t very hopeful, as the company has a history of reserving trending techs.

Galaxy S27 Pro reportedly boasts a 6.47-inch screen. It’s just a new screen size, which is completely different from previous flagships. That said, the phone will be a compact monster, while getting Ultra-level hardware capabilities.

Meanwhile, if the Galaxy S27 Pro gets a Privacy screen, the start of 2027 would witness a simultaneous launch of two flagships with the technology. 2026 brought one, but 2027 might be different, if the rumors hold.

Samsung is currently focusing on the Summer Unpacked, reportedly holding on July 22 in London. Three foldable phones, two smartwatches, and an intelligent eyewear are on the agenda alongside the official One UI 9 reveal.

Galaxy S27 Pro might be as trending as the Galaxy S27 Ultra in 2027. The phone is getting a capable camera setup, and the inclusion of a Privacy display would make it more appealing. Let’s see if Samsung brings the innovation to its compact flagship.
