With the SFP Wizard, Ubiquiti allows users to program SFP and QSFP modules. The goal is to make the modules universally compatible. This will probably challenge many switch manufacturers that rely on vendor lock-in. In addition, Ubiquiti is lowering the prices of some of its (Q)SFP transceivers.
Flashlights with additional UV light and a laser are currently trending. Nitecore is now also jumping on the bandwagon with its EDC17 model. Its design is based on the EDC2x series, but it uses a new slide switch and is IPX7-rated.
