ARLINGTON, Texas (KETK)– The Joaquin Rams fell short in the 2A D1 title on Wednesday, losing to the Hamilton Bulldogs at AT&T Stadium.

FINAL SCORE: Joaquin 7-  Hamilton 21

The Rams got off to a strong start, scoring on their first possession, but Hamilton’s defense was too much for Joaquin to overcome and the Rams were unable to score the rest of the game.

Tonight marked the second time all season where the Rams were held to seven points. However, the Rams defense held Hamilton to 21 points, the fewest the Bulldogs have scored this postseason.

Although Joaquin was unable to take home the title, their season was a success, as it was the first time the program reached the championship game.

Joaquin finished the 2025 season with an overall record of 11-5.
