Xiaomi's next premium smartphone release is expected to be the Xiaomi 17 Max—a larger, better-equipped alternative to the standard Xiaomi 17. The 17 Max has been tipped to deliver a 200 MP main camera, a periscope zoom lens, improved audio hardware, and a battery larger than even the Xiaomi 17 Pro Max's.

The Honor Magic V6 is set to be unveiled shortly. The foldable is said to be equipped with the largest battery on a smartphone yet and will feature a flat display with symmetrical bezels. Widespread global availability could take a while, however.

Identical to Sure View on HP's EliteBook laptops and PrivacyGuard on Lenovo ThinkPads, Samsung has now equipped the Galaxy S26 Ultra with a new Privacy Display feature. Said feature is set to be copied by other smartphone OEMs, starting with the Xiaomi 18 series later this year.

The Galaxy S26 Ultra will launch officially in a few days but has now been benchmarked in a hands-on review ahead of that. The flagship phone is powered by a slightly overclocked variant of Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5.

Ahead of its official release at Unpacked later this week, the Galaxy S26 Ultra's most significant upgrades over the Galaxy S25 Ultra have now been highlighted, with the flagship phone set to arrive with improvements to its display, charging, and cameras to a lesser degree.

According to a new leak, Apple's upcoming iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max could be set to launch with new, upgraded selfie cameras. Both phones are expected to debut in September, as is typical.

Reports from earlier in the year claimed OnePlus had shelved its plans to release the OnePlus 15s. The 15s, meant to be a direct successor to last year's OnePlus 13T-based 13s, now looks to be back on the cards, however.
