1 April 2026 at 19:57

Samsung is making strong progress on its new chip factory in Taylor, Texas. The company has been working on it for about five years. Now, the building work is mostly done, and Samsung has started setting up the machines inside. This is a big step because it means the factory is getting closer to starting its work.

More than 3,000 engineers have come to the site. Some work for Samsung, and others work for companies that make the machines. Their job is to install and set up the equipment. These machines are very big and heavy, with a total weight of about 20,000 tons. They are also very advanced.

The factory will make chips using 2-nanometer technology. This means the chips will be very fast and use less power. Samsung says everything is going as planned. The company expects the factory to start full production by the end of 2026.
