Darren Till signs with BKFC after Misfits split: 'I’m coming to be the face of violence'

Darren Till and BKFC have finally found some common ground. The former UFC star and Misfits Boxing veteran announced a multi-fight deal Tuesday that will see Till debut for the bare-knuckle outfit on May 30 at BKFC 90 inside Birmingham, England’s Utilita Arena.

Till, 33, and BKFC have circled one another for several years in occasionally acrimonious public negotiations, often centered around a fight against BKFC star Mike Perry. After Wednesday’s news, however, the long-discussed matchup appears to finally be within the realm of possibility.

Said Till as part of Wednesday’s announcement:

“I am very pleased to be signing with the BKFC. It’s an amazing promotion! F*** everyone on this roster, I’m coming to be the face of violence. No one can beat me.”

Till is expected to debut at BKFC 90 in a 185-pound bout. An opponent has yet to be determined.

BKFC founder David Feldman said of the signing:

“Darren and I have been talking and the timing is perfect for him to make his BKFC debut. I’ve watched Darren compete for the last few years and he’s a tremendous and exciting addition to our team.”

Till (18-5-1 MMA, 4-0 boxing) was once viewed as one of the top up-and-coming talents in the UFC. He barnstormed out to a 17-0-1 professional MMA record — including an unbeaten six-fight run to the start his Octagon tenure — before falling short in 2018 at the hands of UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley in a shot at the 170-pound title.

Till ended up losing five of his final six UFC bouts before leaving the promotion in 2023, however he found new life as a fan-favorite within Misfits Boxing. The Liverpudlian competed three times for Misfits in 2025, defeating MMA veterans Anthony Taylor and Darren Stewart, before viciously knocking out former UFC middleweight champion Luke Rockhold to capture the promotion’s inaugural bridgerweight title in August.

Till revealed Monday on social media that he had departed Misfits “on extremely good terms.” and teased “a massive announcement.” And now he a BKFC fighter.
