The handset has now secured two important certifications, indicating that the launch timeline remains on track. Here’s a look at the latest developments and what they reveal about the upcoming flagship.

An Honor smartphone carrying the model number APH-AN00 has appeared on China’s MIIT and 3C certification platforms. This device is said to be the upcoming Honor Robot Phone. While the MIIT listing does not disclose any hardware details, its appearance confirms that the device has moved one step closer to launch.

The accompanying 3C certification reveals that the handset could ship with a 120W fast charger, suggesting that Honor is preparing flagship-grade charging speeds for the device. Although certification platforms rarely reveal complete specifications, the latest listings strongly indicate that the Robot Phone is progressing towards its expected August announcement.

According to recent information shared by tipster Digital Chat Station, the Honor Robot Phone could feature a 6.3-inch to 6.4-inch flat display offering a 1.5K resolution and ultra-slim bezels on all four sides. The device is also tipped to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset and may pack a battery of around 6,000mAh, placing it firmly in the premium flagship category.

The camera setup is expected to be one of the phone’s biggest highlights. The leak suggests a 200-megapixel main camera with an f/1.6 aperture, 23mm focal length and 4D gimbal stabilization. It could also include a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera and a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto camera, with Honor’s Ailai imaging technology expected to enhance the photography experience. The tipster also claims the Robot Phone could offer an early preview of camera innovations planned for the upcoming Magic 9 series.

Honor grabbed attention at MWC 2026 after showcasing its futuristic Robot Phone and confirming that it would go on sale in the second half of the year. More recently, reliable tipster Digital Chat Station claimed that the device is scheduled to launch in August. The tipster has now shared the phone’s technical specifications, giving us the clearest look yet at what Honor could be preparing.

According to DCS, the Honor Robot Phone could feature a 6.3-inch to 6.4-inch flat display with a 1.5K resolution and ultra-slim bezels on all four sides. The handset is also tipped to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, indicating that Honor is targeting the premium flagship segment with its new device. He speculates that the device could pack a battery of around 6,000mAh capacity.
