The rumor mill has been consistently leaking details about the upcoming Vivo X500 series flagship phones. In China, the lineup is expected to include three models with different display sizes, such as 6.59-inch, 6.37-inch, and 6.85-inch panels. The exact marketing names of these devices for the Chinese market have yet to be revealed.

In May, the Vivo X500, X500 Pro, and X500e monikers were spotted in the IMEI database for their global variants. While there have been rumors that the top-end model for the Chinese market would be called the Vivo X500 Pro Max, there was no clarity on whether a device with this name would be released globally. In a new development, the device has also appeared in the IMEI database.

Vivo X500 Pro Max moniker revealed for global market

As per a report by PassionateGeekz, the Vivo X500 Pro Max has emerged in the IMEI database. The listing reveals that the device carries the model number V2610. As usual, the listing does not reveal anything else about the device.

It appears that global markets may receive four or five X500 series models, such as the X500e, X500, X500 Pro, and X500 Pro Max. It remains to be seen whether the X500 FE will also be part of the lineup.

Vivo X500 Pro Max specifications: What’s leaked so far

According to reports, the Vivo X500 Pro Max’s rear camera setup will comprise a Sony LYT838 50-megapixel primary camera equipped with LOFIC technology. It is likely to be joined by a 50-megapixel IMX8-series ultra-wide camera and a 200-megapixel 1/4-inch periscope telephoto camera.

The X500 Pro Max is expected to feature a 6.85-inch BOE-made OLED display with support for a 2K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it is expected to pack a Dimensity 9600-series chipset and an approximately 8,000mAh battery. As a next-generation flagship, it is likely to run OriginOS 7-based Android 17.
