Nothing less than a new PC era is literally just around the corner, if Nvidia and Microsoft are to be believed. Both companies posted tweets over the weekend before Computex 2026 teasing major upcoming news. Here we clarify what is behind it and why it does not refer to Windows 12.

“Insane” is how a leaker described the thinness of the Galaxy Z Fold 8, which is expected to launch in a few weeks at the summer Galaxy Unpacked Event as arguably the thinnest foldable in the new wide-and-compact form factor. An initial hands-on video featuring a fairly realistic dummy demonstrates how the device could feel in the hand.

A leaker recently revealed that Xiaomi is en route to releasing what could be the most exciting wide and compact foldable phone yet in the vein of the Apple iPhone Fold and the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8. Potentially called the Xiaomi 18 Fold or Mix Fold 5, the device is expected to introduce not only a new form factor but also significant camera upgrades.
