Galaxy S24 users on Verizon and T-Mobile now getting One UI 8.5 update

Samsung has begun rolling out the stable One UI 8.5 update to Galaxy S24 users globally. The update first arrived in Korea, and then expanded in India and Europe. Now, Samsung has also released it in the United States. This means the global rollout of the update has officially started.

Right now, the update is available for locked Galaxy S24 models on Verizon and T-Mobile networks in the US. Users of the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra can check if the update is ready for their phones via Settings.

One UI 8.5 comes with new features and improvements to provide a next-level experience. It brings refined AI-powered features, better battery management, camera improvements, and enhanced privacy controls.Β Samsung has made the phone smoother and faster. Apps may open quicker, animations look better, and the overall experience feels more stable.Β 

Samsung Galaxy Easy compensation Program

The installation package size is approximately 4GB, so users are advised to connect to a stable Wi-Fi network before downloading the update. It is also recommended to ensure the device has sufficient battery charge to avoid interruptions during installation.

Galaxy S24 users can manually check for the update by going to Settings, then Software Update, and tapping Download and Install. If the update is available, the phone will start downloading it automatically.Β 

Users who have not received the update yet should not worry. Samsung is gradually expanding the rollout to more users very soon.
