Casio’s Baby-G lineup is getting a fresh splash of color and customization, with a new set of square-display digital watches landing in Japan. The four-model collection brings back the retro charm of classic digital Casio watches but adds a twist aimed at younger buyers: the watches can pop off the strap and transform into bag charms. With global listings already live, the series looks set for a wider release soon.

The new quartet falls under the Baby-G BGD-10KH series, available now for pre-order in Japan. The range includes four pastel shades — black (BGD-10KH-2CJR), purple (BGD-10KH-2BJR), pink (BGD-10KH-4JR) and yellow (BGD-10KH-9JR) — each featuring a matte resin case, matching strap, and a heart-shaped accessory holder. Owners can remove the watch from the band and clip it onto bags, pouches, or keychains, keeping the Baby-G’s playful design ethos intact.

Despite the cute aesthetics, these are still proper Baby-G watches. They’re water-resistant to 10 ATM, built to handle daily wear, and rated for three years of battery life. The square digital display follows a classic Casio layout, showing the time, date, and day of week at a glance. An LED backlight helps with visibility in low light.

Functionality remains familiar but solid:

• World time with 29 time zones
• 1/100-second stopwatch
• Five daily alarms
• 24-hour countdown timer

At ¥9,900 (~$64.30) each, the BGD-10KH lineup sits firmly in the affordable category, making them easy picks for students, casual collectors, or anyone hunting for a simple everyday digital watch with personality. Casio says the Japanese release is planned for November 2025.

All four models are also listed on Casio’s international website — a strong sign that global availability is on the way. With their mix of retro styling, customizable charm-clip design, and practical features, the BGD-10KH series looks like another easy win for Casio’s ever-expanding digital watch catalog.
