Motorola Launches Affordable Moto Buds Bass With Active Noise Cancellation
Motorola has launched new affordable wireless earbuds, the Moto Buds Bass. These feature what the company calls “Dynamic Active Noise Cancellation” with up to 50dB of isolation. Motorola says that each earbud features a triple-microphone system with CrystalTalk AI, which claims to offer clear calls through echo cancellation, ambient noise suppression, and wind noise reduction.
Motorola Moto Buds Bass feature a water-repellent design
The Motorola Moto Buds Bass feature a 12.4mm dynamic driver tuned for enhanced low-end and Hi-Res Audio certification. The earbuds are claimed to deliver powerful bass and studio-quality sound with 3x more data than standard CD quality. The Moto Buds Bass have a water-repellent design, which, as per Motorola, should withstand splashes, rain, and everyday wear. There’s no explicit mention of the water repellent rating.
The Adaptive ANC intelligently adjusts to the user’s surroundings. There’s an option to manually select from different noise cancellation modes to suit their environment. Motorola says the transparency mode ensures you are aware of the outside world. This can be handy for transport announcements or when people want to talk to you.
Up to 43 hours of battery life
The Motorola Buds Bass are promised to offer up to nine hours of playtime per charge and up to 43 hours with the case. These numbers are apparently with the ANC tech off. There’s fast charging support, too, with a quick 10-minute juice-up offering 2 hours of playback.
You can use the companion Moto Buds app to pair, customize controls, personalize noise cancellation settings, and more. The earbuds reportedly require Android devices running Android 12 or above. Details regarding iPhone support are unclear currently.
Price, availability
The Motorola Moto Buds Bass will set you back by £49.99 (~$65) in the UK and €59.99 (~$70) in the rest of Europe. Motorola doesn’t say anything about the earbuds’ availability in other markets. You can get the earbuds in PANTONE Dark Shadow, PANTONE Blue Jewel, and PANTONE Posy Green colors
