OPPO begins global rollout of ColorOS 16 for Find N5, Find X8 Pro, and Find X8
OPPO has started rolling out the stable version of ColorOS 16, based on Android 16, to its first batch of global devices. The company confirmed that the rollout starts this month, continuing in phases for more models in the coming weeks.
First batch of global devices
The update officially begins on November 6, 2025, for the OPPO Find N5, Find X8 Pro, and Find X8. These three models are the first to receive the stable ColorOS 16 build globally.

The second batch follows on November 11, 2025, adding the OPPO Find N3, Find N3 Flip, and OPPO Pad 3 Pro. OPPO clarified that the rollout will take place gradually, in batches, so the update may take a few days to appear on all devices. Users are advised to check official community threads for verified announcements instead of creating new posts to keep the update discussion organized.
What’s new in ColorOS 16
ColorOS 16 brings faster performance and smoother transitions with the Luminous Rendering Engine and Trinity Engine. These systems make app launches quicker, scrolling smoother, and touch response sharper. OPPO says the update improves animation speed and responsiveness by double-digit percentages compared to previous versions.
The interface has been redesigned with natural light and motion effects. Users will notice more fluid interactions, new motion wallpapers, and a full-screen always-on display for a clean, refined look.
AI and system improvements
The update adds several AI features such as AI Portrait Glow, AI Eraser, and Master Cut for faster photo and video editing. Oppo AI now includes AI Mind Space, AI Mind Assistant, and Smart Collections to organize and manage content intelligently.
ColorOS 16 also integrates Google’s Gemini Live, which allows real-time contextual interactions with Google’s multimodal assistant. Connectivity has been upgraded with O+ Connect, making it easier to share files and link devices across Windows and macOS.
Privacy has also been strengthened with Oppo Lock, which includes Call to Lock and Dual Verification, and the Private Computing Cloud, which keeps user data secure within OPPO’s private servers.
