One of the fiercest rivalries in all of District 10; a contest that has seen its last three meetings decided by a total of 14 points.

…Hickory had a balanced offensive attack that featured five players with 7 points or more – Noah Kovac (14), Kyler Slevin (13), Trevor Borowicz (9), Jack White (8) and Ashton Boal (7) – during the Hornets victory. Ben Fischer led the Eagles with 30 points (18 which were in the second half).

Game Notes
-On Tuesday, Grove City outscored Mercer – 29-21 – in the second half to pull away with a 56-48 victory. Ben Fischer finished with a game-high 20 points while Kyle Osborn connected on 4 three-point baskets to post 18.

-Since their overtime loss to Meadville, Grove City has registered seven wins in their last nine games.

-Grove City is 10-0 when scoring 55-points or more.

-Eight times this year, Hickory has surpassed the 60-point mark (7-1).

-On Tuesday, the Hornets ended their two-game slide by defeating Slippery Rock – 59-26. Trevor Borowicz led the way with 20 points as Noah Kovac (14) and Kyler Slevin (12) also finished in double-figures as well.

-Borowicz is 1-point away from scoring 1,000 for his high school career.

-Grove City has dropped their last five meetings with Hickory. The Eagles last win came on January 16, 2024 – a 45-43 result – in Hermitage.
