As a part of this initiative, the Telangana government proposes to set up a Telangana State Medical Tourism Society and develop a large-scale integrated MVT destination in Hyderabad. She stated, “Hyderabad stands institutionally and operationally prepared to scale as a globally trusted medical tourism destination. With our integrated healthcare, hospitality, and aviation ecosystem combined with clinical excellence, we are well-positioned to emerge as one of India’s top five regional MVT hubs.”

The city is already known for its advanced healthcare infrastructure, strong clinical outcomes, and cost-effective treatment options, making it an attractive choice for medical travelers.
