You can now run Galaxy S26 demo on your current phone

Samsung is not waiting for you to walk into a store. It is putting the Galaxy S26 demo in your pocket right now, even if that pocket holds an iPhone or a Pixel.

The company has pushed a major update to its Try Galaxy web app. The update turns TryGalaxy into a full-blown UX simulation of the Galaxy S26 running One UI 8.5. It is aggressive marketing and smart as well.

Open the link on a non-Galaxy device and your screen transforms into a guided tour of Samsung’s latest software vision. This update is built around the Galaxy S26 experience, with a strong focus on One UI 8.5 and its practical tools.

The biggest highlight of the updated Try Galaxy is Photo Assist. Then there is Now Nudge, Samsung’s contextual alert system. Privacy Display is another interesting inclusion. Upgraded Nightography also gets screen time.

A web-based UX simulation will not perfectly capture the feel of haptics, display, or camera. Still, this approach chips away at the psychological barrier, reduces friction, and reframes the Galaxy S26 as something you can try right now.

  • Visit TryGalaxy.com to install the web app and run the Galaxy S26 demo.

The new Try Galaxy experience now pulls in the broader ecosystem, including Galaxy Z series foldables, wearables like Galaxy Buds, Galaxy Watch, and even Galaxy Ring, presenting them as interconnected pieces.

More interesting is the preview of Samsung’s Galaxy XR platform. The demo teases how spatial computing could integrate with One UI principles, hinting at continuity between phone, wearable, and immersive hardware.
