Samsung brings next-level gaming monitors to GDC 2026

Samsung will show its newest gaming monitors at the GDC Festival of Gaming 2026 in San Francisco from March 9 to 13. GDC is a big event where game developers from around the world meet to share ideas. This year, more than 30,000 developers and over 700 sessions will take place.

Samsung will have a special event at the San Francisco Marriott Marquis Hotel. They will show new Odyssey gaming monitors. These include the Odyssey 3D, a 3D monitor that does not need glasses, the Odyssey G8, a 32-inch monitor with 6K resolution, and the Odyssey G6, a monitor with a very fast 1040Hz refresh rate.

The Odyssey 3D lets players enjoy 3D games without wearing glasses. It uses eye-tracking to change the 3D effect depending on where the player is looking.

More than 60 games already work with Odyssey 3D, including First Berserker: Kazan, Stella Blade, and Lies of P: Overture. Samsung plans to have over 120 games in 3D by the end of 2026, like Cronos: The New Dawn and Hell is Us, an action-adventure game.

Samsung also uses HDR10+ GAMING, which makes games look better with brighter colors and clearer images. This works automatically and helps make games feel more real. It is already used in 14 games, including Red Dead Redemption 2, Cyberpunk 2077, and Battlefield 6. The new game Crimson Desert will also support HDR10+ GAMING.
