Samsung Browser in One UI 9 may let you open multiple windows at once
One UI 8.5 hasn’t even rolled out properly, and the Internet is already flooding with One UI 9 leaks as the latest just surfaced Samsung Browser app’s upcoming “multiple windows” feature.
What’s interesting this time around is what Samsung developers are quietly fueling into Samsung Browser. The company now calls it Samsung Browser, not Internet, which has been ditched with the Galaxy S26 series.
Samsung Browser – Split Page
Samsung Browser in One UI 9 can handle multiple instances of itself running side by side (on a foldable phone) or up and down (on a bar-type phone) – as discovered by Josh Skinner of SammyGuru.
You could finally do the things desktop browsers have let you do for years without feeling like you’re working against your phone.
Samsung already had multi-instance support for other apps like Notes and My Files. Having it in the browser now changes how people might actually navigate the web on their phone.

Ask AI turns Ask AI Beta
The Ask AI feature, which had been floating around earlier, now has a beta tag slapped on it in the latest build. Debug settings revealed something called Enable Cross-Device Resume, which doesn’t do anything, for now.
One UI 9 Update
One UI 9 is expected to launch sometime around July or August this year. Samsung’s expected to launch its Android 17-based One UI 9 with the Galaxy Z Fold 8, Galaxy Z Flip 8, and an alleged Galaxy Wide Fold.
Development of One UI 9 has already begun, though, which means leaks like this are going to keep trickling out no matter how hard Samsung tries to contain them.
