The new Lenovo Thinkpad T1g Gen 9 is an update of one of the most expensive ThinkPad series: It is a premium 16-inch laptop for the multimedia segment with Nvidia GeForce GPUs. The newest model has Intel Panther Lake CPUs, and the new Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 with 12 GB VRAM.
Apart from the expensive ThinkPad P1, Lenovo also updates the less expensive ThinkPad P16s line. The new ThinkPad P16s Gen 5 has a unified design for both the AMD and Intel models, as well as dedicated Nvidia GPUs for the AMD variants for the first time.
An unexpected update: Lenovo is already replacing the ThinkPad P1 Gen 8 with the next gen model, the new ThinkPad P1 Gen 9. This new version is only a small update, focused mainly on internal changes.
The Magic Bay accessories have so far been exclusive to the Lenovo ThinkBook line, but it seems like Lenovo is bringing them to the ThinkPad line: The iF Design Award has revealed the so far unannounced Lenovo ThinkPad X14 Gen 1, a new addition to the line.
March is here and so is the new Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 14 - almost, at least. The thin premium model that is much more modular than the X1 Carbon Gen 13 can now be ordered with various Panther Lake CPUs.
