Intel has confirmed it will not release the Core Ultra 9 290K Plus, abandoning the planned 24-core flagship as part of its Arrow Lake Refresh lineup. Instead, the company is focusing on the more broadly positioned Core Ultra 7 270K Plus and Core Ultra 5 250K Plus, which it considers sufficient in terms of performance and value.
