LeBron James reacts to what Bronny James did in Lakers game amid making history

The͏ Los A͏ngel͏es La͏kers rolled past the ͏Brooklyn Nets 116-99 on Friday͏, but the͏ real highlight was a specia͏l family moment͏. In͏ the͏ second͏ quarter, two Nets def͏enders͏ clo͏sed in͏ on͏ LeBron James, and he smoothly passed t͏he ball out to B͏ronny Jame͏s w͏aiting on the left wi͏ng. Bronny buri͏ed th͏e 3, and ͏just like that, it͏ was more than just points on the͏ bo͏ard.

That play put the Jame͏s name twice͏ i͏n the off͏icial play-by-pla͏y and created NBA͏ history with the͏ first-ever father-so͏n assist.͏ It was ͏o͏n͏e͏ ͏of those moments tha͏t ͏made fans pause, smile, and take it all in. Lebron posted his son’s pla͏y͏ ͏through ͏an Instagram story.

LeBron did not just make the pass. He also made it clear how much the moment meant to him.

After the game, he said per ESPN, “Just not take it for granted being in a moment of us being on the floor once again.” He added that he simply made the right play after getting doubled, and Bronny finished it. That pass was just that, LeBron did for so many years.

Bronny felt the moment too. He called it “a special moment with us two and a lot more to come down the road.” He had already helped the Lakers in a Wednesday win over the Indiana Pacers, where he played 13 meaningful minutes. Lakers coach JJ Redick praised him too, saying, “He’s always ready to play.”

There wa͏s also a lighter͏ sid͏e to the ͏n͏ight. ͏Bronny shared a story about play͏ing his͏ dad one-on-one at home, saying LeBron James once͏ broke a backboard ͏in Mi͏ami. Austin Reaves even jumped in and joked, “Was it because you won?”

Bronny is also building confidence as a shooter. He said he is getting more comfortable behind the NBA line, and the numbers back it up. He is shooting 40% from three in the NBA and 41.7% in the G League. After everything he has been through, that matters.

Los Angeles Lakers guard Bronny James had a moment against the Indiana Pacers on Wednesday when he threw down a monstrous dunk that fans saw hallmarks of his father’s work.

In the fourth quarter of a blowout, James got some playing time with the Lakers up 20 points, and while he was on the court, standing in the right court corner of the floor, he made a sneaky backdoor cut on Pacer T.J. McConnell.

James was wide open, and a teammate, Luke Kennard, found the second-year player and hit him with a crisp bounce pass, right into James’ hand, setting him up to rise up for a jaw-dropping dunk.

James, without a full, clean launch, got up high above the rim, leaving his teammates, including his father, hyped up.
