Portronics has introduced the Air X, a smart HEPA air purifier, marking its entry into the air purification segment. The device combines advanced filtration technology with user-friendly features and a modern design. It is priced at Rs. 13,599 ($146) and is available on Portronics.com, Amazon, Flipkart, and other online and offline platforms across India.

Portronics Air X Specifications

The Air X uses an H13 True HEPA filter and a 4-stage filtration system to remove up to 99.95% of airborne pollutants, including particles as small as 0.3 microns. The system includes a pre-filter for large particles, an activated carbon filter for odors and gases, a cold catalyst filter to neutralize household pollutants, and UV sterilization to eliminate bacteria and germs.

Portronics has added 20M negative ion technology to the Air X, which refreshes the air by reducing airborne contaminants. The air purifier is suitable for spaces up to 388 sq. ft. and provides a Clean Air Delivery Rate (CADR) of 249 m³/h, ensuring fast and efficient purification.

The company claims the device cleans the air every 12 minutes and delivers up to five air changes per hour for rooms with a volume of 50 m³.

The Air X includes a smart air quality indicator with a color-coded display. Blue indicates good air quality, green represents moderate quality, and red signals poor air quality. The purifier uses a 310-inlet design to pull in air from all directions, ensuring uniform cleaning of the entire room.

Portronics has designed the Air X to operate quietly, with noise levels as low as 28 dB in sleep mode. It is ideal for use in bedrooms, living rooms, or offices where silent operation is essential.

The air purifier has a touch control panel for adjusting fan speed, timer, and anion mode, and it also includes a remote control for convenient operation. The Air X offers a 12-month warranty and comes in a white color option.
