In our review, Vivoβs gaming flagship performs well in many areas. We are somewhat more critical of the iQOO 15 Ultraβs actual standout feature, however, since its practical benefit in everyday use is limited.
Vivo is not only capable of making flagship phones with fantastic photo quality. Even a gaming phone beats the camera systems of rivals from Apple and Samsung, which now feel dated. Our iQOO 15 Ultra review makes clear why the company currently leads our best-of list.
Thin, light, and a compact chassis without major compromises in the camera setup: the Honor Magic8 Pro Air showed very good photo quality in our review and clearly reveals the weaknesses of the iPhone Air.
With the Magic8 Pro Air, Honor offers extensive eye protection features against OLED screen flicker. The thin and lightweight Android smartphone includes a dedicated settings menu designed to provide a more eye-friendly user experience despite PWM.
The compact flagship phone looks very similar to the Apple iPhone Air, but that should not distract from the strong overall package of the Magic8 Pro Air. In many areas, the Android smartphone is at least a class above the Apple device.
