Portable air conditioners are already selling out ahead of this weekend's heatwave β here are 12 still in stock (for now)
Samsung is changing how we think about home construction by launching the Samsung AI Modular Home. The company is collaborating with Space Workshop (Kongan Jajakso) to bring AI to homes even before the homeowner takes charge.
Partnering with wooden modular housing specialist Kongan Jajakso, the tech giant is moving directly into the detached housing market with a brilliant twist: the artificial intelligence is built straight into the walls before the house even leaves the factory.
Kongan Jajakso utilizes automated systems to prefabricate over 80% of these wooden structures indoors. This factory-first approach slashes construction times, guarantees uniform quality, and drastically minimizes material waste.
What sets this project apart is the deep integration of Samsungβs SmartThings ecosystem.
Buyers can choose from roughly 20 types of compatible devices, including AI air conditioners, refrigerators, and security cameras, which are pre-installed and pre-registered during the factory phase.
When homeowners move into their new 33 to 132-square-meter space, they completely bypass the frustration of setting up a smart home network from scratch.
Samsung is already eyeing the future, planning to expand this technology to mid-rise buildings and global markets. By blending precision manufacturing with ready-to-use tech, the two companies are delivering a frictionless lifestyle.
