Warm weather to continue for Memorial Tournament, possible rain ahead

Golf fans can expect sunshine, dry weather and warm temperatures to be on the upswing for several days, making the perfect setting for the 2026 Memorial Tournament.

The tournament, founded by Jack Nicklaus, got underway with comfortable clime in the 70s on June 1 and will continue through June 7 at Muirfield Village Golf Club in Dublin.

A forecast from the National Weather Service in Wilmington shows temperatures in central Ohio over the next week with lows in the 50s and highs in the mid-80s, and sunny or mostly sunny days.

Heading into the weekend, spring showers could return, with a 30% chance of rain on June 5, followed by possible thunderstorms on June 6-7.
