Illinois womenβs basketball land Balkan-born player
CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WCIA) β Shauna Green is getting in on the Balkan recruiting train.
According to MiΕ‘ko RaΕΎnatoviΔ, the agent who represents Illinois menβs basketballβs Balkan players, Lara Brenjo of Serbia will join the Illini womenβs team this year.
Brenjo plays for Mega Superbet out of Belgrade, the same club former Illini Mihailo Petrovic played for in Serbia.
Another transfer from the Balkans to Illinois β although this time, a slightly different oneππ!
