Who is Miki Sudo's competitive eater husband?

Miki Sudo is the woman to beat in the Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest, as the 40-year-old has won the Fourth of July event the last 11 times she competed.

Sudo first won in 2014 by eating 34 hot dogs and buns, and she only elevated her game from there. She eventually reached the 40s three times before eating a world record-breaking 51 hot dogs and buns in 2024. In last year's win, Sudo ate 33 hot dogs, lower than usual for her but still over 10 more than second-place Michelle Lesco.

It's widely expected to be another Sudo win this year. She'll face competition from Lesco, Larell Marie Mele, Tandra Childress and Katie Prettyman, however.

Sudo isn't the only competitive eater in her family. Let's explain.

Who is Miki Sudo's husband?

Sudo is married to fellow competitive eater Nick Wehry. The couple lives in Port Richey, Florida with their 4-year-old son, Max. They met at a hotel gym in 2018 and married in 2021. Wehry, a former bodybuilder, is best known for downing 50 hard-boiled eggs in three minutes and four seconds in 2021.

What time does Miki Sudo compete in Hot Dog Eating Contest?

The women's competition begins at 10:45 a.m. ET.
