2 More Samsung devices now testing One UI 8.5 internally
Samsung is moving forward with the development of One UI 8.5, and new information indicates that internal testing for this major update has begun for additional Galaxy devices. While One UI 8.5 is already available through a public beta program for the Galaxy S25 series, Samsung is also testing the update internally for several other smartphones and tablets.
Now, two more Galaxy devices have been added to Samsungβs internal One UI 8.5 testing list. The newly spotted test builds are for the Galaxy M17 and Galaxy Tab S9 FE.
The first One UI 8.5 test firmware versions spotted are M176BXXU3CYL5 for the Galaxy M17 and X510XXU9DYL2 for the Galaxy Tab S9 FE. These new builds confirm that Samsung is preparing a major update for these devices.

The development shows that Samsung is expanding One UI 8.5 testing to more Galaxy devices. Previously, the company mainly focused on flagship and A-series devices, but now M-series and F-series phones have also recently added to the testing list. And now, more devices of this series enter the testing zone.
Samsung officially launched the One UI 8.5 Beta Program for the Galaxy S25 series in selected countries earlier this month. The company confirmed to debut One UI 8.5 with the Galaxy S26 series next year. Stay tuned for more information.
