Xiaomi Gaming Monitor G27i 2026 Launches Globally With 200Hz Refresh Rate and HDR400

3 February 2026 at 15:49
Xiaomi Gaming Monitor G27i 2026

Xiaomi has started the global rollout of its Gaming Monitor G27i 2026, a new 27-inch display aimed at gamers. It follows the recent release of the Mini LED Gaming Monitor G Pro 27Qi 2026 and focuses on high refresh rates, fast response times, and accurate colors at a lower price point.

Xiaomi Gaming Monitor G27i 2026

The G27i 2026 uses a 27-inch Fast IPS LCD panel with a Full HD resolution of 1920 × 1080 pixels and a 16:9 aspect ratio. It supports a 200Hz refresh rate in supported modes, along with a 1ms GTG response time when set to the Ultrafast option. Xiaomi states this combination helps reduce ghosting and motion blur in fast-moving scenes. In the official specification sheet, the panel refresh rate is listed at up to 165Hz, which suggests that 200Hz may depend on specific settings or inputs.

The panel offers wide 178-degree viewing angles and a typical brightness level of 250 nits. Peak brightness reaches up to 400 nits, allowing the monitor to meet VESA DisplayHDR 400 certification. This improves contrast between bright and dark areas, helping details remain visible during gameplay. The static contrast ratio is rated at 1000:1.

Xiaomi Gaming Monitor G27i 2026

Color performance is a key focus, as the monitor comes with factory calibration to achieve Delta E values below 2. The monitor supports 100 percent sRGB and 95 percent DCI-P3 color gamut coverage, along with 8-bit color depth capable of displaying 16.7 million colors. This makes it suitable for gaming, video playback, and general content creation.

The G27i 2026 supports FreeSync Premium and is also listed as G-Sync compatible. This helps reduce screen tearing and stuttering when frame rates fluctuate. Eye comfort features include TÜV Low Blue Light certification and DC dimming to reduce flicker during long sessions.

The monitor features an ultra-narrow bezel design and a tilt-adjustable stand with a range of minus 5 degrees to plus 15 degrees. It also supports 75 × 75 mm wall mounting. Physical controls are handled through a joystick button. Connectivity includes one DisplayPort 1.4, one HDMI 2.0 port, a 3.5 mm audio jack, and a DC input. The monitor consumes up to 36W of power and weighs 3.6 kg with the stand.

Pricing & availability

The Gaming Monitor G27i 2026 is priced at SGD 199 (~$157) in Singapore.

In terms of image quality, the monitor delivers up to 400 nits of peak brightness and a 1,000:1 contrast ratio. It supports 8-bit color output and covers 95 percent of the DCI-P3 color space. Xiaomi also includes adaptive sync support to reduce screen tearing during gameplay. The display is TÜV Rheinland certified for low blue light and uses DC dimming to help reduce eye strain during long sessions.

Redmi G25

Connectivity is basic, which is to be expected from a budget monitor. It has a G25 one DisplayPort 1.4, one HDMI .0 port, and a 3.5 mm headphone jack. There are no USB ports or built-in speakers. The included stand supports tilt adjustment, and the monitor is compatible with VESA mounting for users who prefer monitor arms or wall mounts.

Final DX4000 CL Closed-Back Headphones Debuts With Washi Paper Carbon Diaphragm and Repairable Build

1 February 2026 at 00:32
Final DX4000 CL

Final Co., Ltd. has announced the DX4000 CL, a closed-back, over-ear headphone designed to deliver a wide, open soundstage typically associated with open-back designs. The company will start accepting pre-orders in Japan on January 30, 2026, with sales beginning on February 6, 2026.

Final DX4000 CL

Closed-back headphones often struggle to sound open due to their sealed structure, which can reduce transparency and create a boxed-in listening feel. The DX4000 CL addresses this by using newly developed 30 mm thick low-resilience ear pads that increase the distance between the driver and the ear. This design choice helps reduce the sense of pressure and improves spatial presentation. Combined with a low-distortion driver and an internal structure designed to suppress unnecessary resonance, the headphones aim to deliver a sense of openness that feels closer to an open-back model.

Final DX4000 CL
Final DX4000 CL

The driver uses a composite diaphragm made from washi paper blended with carbon. Paper has long been used in audio diaphragms for its light weight and high internal damping, while the added carbon improves strength. To allow smoother diaphragm movement, final has adopted a free edge structure with no grooves along the edges. The front plate that secures the driver is made from a special glass-reinforced resin, which is both lightweight and rigid, helping to reduce distortion during playback.

Final DX4000 CL
Final DX4000 CL

Behind the driver, the DX4000 CL features Final’s proprietary Rear Diffuser Array Structure. This design uses fine ribs with different shapes and spacing to eliminate parallel surfaces inside the housing. By diffusing sound reflections, it suppresses unwanted internal resonance and helps maintain cleaner sound.

The headphones are designed for long-term use. Adhesive use is kept to a minimum, and the housing is assembled with O-rings and precision screws to allow repairs. The 30 mm thick ear pads are made from synthetic leather and memory foam, offering strong sealing and comfort. They can be replaced without tools. The hanger connecting the headband and housing is made from super duralumin, a material also used in aircraft.

The DX4000 CL includes the Final’s original silver-coated 2 m cable with a 4.4 mm plug, along with a 4.4 mm to 6.3 mm adapter. The textured paint finish helps resist fingerprints and sebum. Pricing is set at 128,000 yen, or about $829, with deliveries starting February 6, 2026.

Xiaomi Pad 8 Pro Global Specs Leak via Geekbench With Flagship Performance

31 January 2026 at 08:23
Xiaomi Pad 8 Pro

Earlier this month, the global variant of Xiaomi’s Pad 8 Pro tablet made an appearance on the UAE’s TDRA certification database with model number 25091RP04G. Now, this tablet has also emerged on Geekbench, giving us some initial insights into its hardware.

As per the Geekbench listing, the Xiaomi Pad 8 Pro will start with 8 GB of RAM, which could likely be paired with 256 GB of internal storage. Performance results from the benchmarks reveal a single-core score of 2940 and a multicore score of 8759. These scores closely match the Chinese version that was reviewed late last year. It also confirms that the tablet features a Snapdragon 8 Elite chip.

Xiaomi Pad 8 Pro

Xiaomi has not confirmed a global launch date for the Pad 8 Pro. The same applies to the Xiaomi 17 smartphone series. Still, a recent leak from a European retailer suggests that the Xiaomi 17 could launch internationally soon, which may also signal progress on the Pad 8 Pro’s global release.

Xiaomi Pad 8 Pro (Chinese version) features

The Xiaomi Pad 8 Pro features an 11.2-inch 3.2K LCD with a resolution of 3200 × 2136 and a 3:2 aspect ratio. The display supports up to a 144Hz refresh rate, 12-bit color depth, 345 PPI, and 800 nits of peak brightness. It supports HDR10, Dolby Vision, and HDR Vivid. TÜV eye protection and DC dimming are included for improved viewing comfort. The Matte Edition uses AG nano-texture etching and an AR coating, which cuts 99 percent of stray light and reduces reflectivity by 70 percent.

The tablet is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite, a 3 nm chipset with an octa-core CPU clocked up to 4.32GHz and an Adreno GPU. Xiaomi claims AnTuTu scores exceeding 3 million, making it suitable for multitasking, 4K video editing, and native-resolution gaming.

Xiaomi has quietly released its latest Mini LED gaming monitor, the Mini LED Gaming Monitor G Pro 27Qi 2026. The monitor first appeared on Xiaomi’s global website in early December and has now reached retail shelves in Australia, marking its first confirmed market launch.

Xiaomi Mini LED Gaming Monitor G Pro 27Qi 2026

The G Pro 27Qi 2026 features a 27-inch Fast IPS panel with a 2560 × 1440 resolution and a 16:9 aspect ratio. It uses Mini LED backlighting with 1,152 local dimming zones, designed to deliver precise light control and improved contrast. Xiaomi combines this with a global dimming engine, a proprietary local dimming algorithm, and AI-based scene recognition to dynamically adjust brightness based on on-screen content.

The monitor supports a 180Hz refresh rate and a 1ms GTG response time, targeting smooth gameplay with reduced motion blur and ghosting. Variable refresh rate support and AMD FreeSync help keep the display in sync with the GPU to reduce screen tearing and stuttering in fast-moving scenes.

HDR performance is a major focus. The panel reaches up to 2,000 nits of peak brightness and supports HDR1000. Xiaomi claims dark detail reproduction down to 0.0001 nits, allowing brighter highlights and deeper blacks in supported games and content. The display also uses a QD wide colour gamut, covering 100 percent sRGB, 99 percent DCI-P3, and 99 percent Adobe RGB. It supports 1.07 billion colours with 10-bit colour depth and is factory calibrated to achieve a ∆E value below 1.

In terms of design, the monitor features slim bezels on three sides, rear backlight effects, and a retractable headphone holder. The hexagonal base supports height adjustment up to 120mm, tilt from 5 degrees forward to 21 degrees backward, swivel up to 35 degrees on either side, and full pivot for portrait use. VESA 75 × 75mm wall mounting is also supported. Connectivity includes two HDMI 2.0 ports, two DisplayPort 1.4 ports, a DC input, and an audio jack. Power consumption is rated at 65W.

Pricing & availability

The Mini LED Gaming Monitor G Pro 27Qi 2026 is priced at AUD 699 in Australia, but an initial sale has reduced the price to AUD 499. Xiaomi has not confirmed availability in other regions yet.

Japan Victor Company (JVC) will release the HA-A110T wireless earbuds in early February for around ¥20,000 (US$129). The earbuds come in four colors: Charcoal Black, Teal Green, Ivory Gold, and Bronze Brown.

The HA-A110T uses hybrid active noise cancelling with two microphones per earbud to block background noise during commutes, work, and calls.

Each earbud has a 10mm dynamic driver with a liquid crystal polymer diaphragm that reduces vibration for better clarity. The earbuds support SBC, AAC, and LDAC codecs. LDAC handles high-resolution audio up to 96 kHz and 24-bit on compatible devices.

Battery life is a key feature. With noise cancelling off, the earbuds last 17 hours and the charging case adds 27 hours for 44 hours total. With noise cancelling on, you get 13 hours from the earbuds and 21 hours from the case for 34 hours total. A 10-minute quick charge gives you 125 minutes of playback. The case supports Qi wireless charging.

The HA-A110T offers five sound modes: Flat, Bass, Clear, Dynamic, and Vocal. You can adjust these through the Victor Headphones app, which also lets you customize the equalizer, remap buttons, and update firmware.

The earbuds use Bluetooth 6.0 with Power Class 1 output and can connect to two devices at once. Low-latency mode reduces delay for videos and games. Wind noise reduction improves outdoor listening. Ambient sound mode lets you hear your surroundings, and sidetone mode lets you hear your own voice during calls. You can mute the microphone for calls and online meetings. Google Pixel Buds 2a Fog and Berry Color Options Leak Ahead of Launch

31 January 2026 at 03:36

Google may soon expand the color lineup of its Pixel Buds 2a. Android Headlines has published official-looking renders showing the earbuds in two new color options, which are expected to be added alongside the existing Hazel and Iris variants. The Pixel Buds 2a have been available in those two colors since their launch in August last year.

While Google has not confirmed the official names, the new shades are expected to align with the rumored Pixel 9a color palette. These are likely to be called Fog and Berry. Visually, the Fog option appears as a light gray finish, while Berry is a soft pink tone. The pink version closely resembles the Peony color seen on recent Pixel devices and is clearly aimed at users who want a more eye-catching look.

Aside from color, nothing else has changed. The Pixel Buds 2a keep the same design and hardware. The charging case remains white on the outside for both new colors, while the interior matches the earbuds themselves, similar to the existing variants.

The Pixel Buds 2a are designed using data from over 45 million ear scans to improve comfort and fit. The earbuds carry an IP54 rating for sweat and water resistance, while the charging case is rated IPX4. Connectivity is handled via Bluetooth 5.4 with Super Wideband support, which improves call quality and connection stability.

Powering the earbuds is the Google Tensor A1 chip, paired with 11 mm dynamic drivers. Features include Active Noise Cancellation with Silent Seal 1.5, Transparency mode, active in-ear pressure relief, stereo spatial audio, and a 5-band equalizer. Voice calls benefit from a wind-blocking mesh and Google AI-powered noise reduction.

Battery life is rated at up to 7 hours with ANC on and up to 20 hours with the charging case. With ANC disabled, usage increases to 10 hours on the earbuds and 27 hours with the case. A 5-minute quick charge provides up to one hour of playback. Charging is done via USB-C, and the case includes a replaceable battery.

Additional features include hands-free Gemini access, tap controls, Pixel-Perfect Pairing, multipoint switching, and Find Hub support. Each earbud includes two microphones, infrared in-ear detection, and capacitive touch controls.
