Redmi’s popular Note series of mid range smartphones is arriving in India soon. Xiaomi recently unveiled the Redmi Note 15 5G, Note 15 Pro 5G, Note 15 Pro+ 5G, Note 15 4G, and Note 15 Pro 4G in the global market. The brand just confirmed the launch of the Redmi Note 15 5G in India, and a fresh teaser has even revealed its camera and battery details. So lets check it out.

Redmi Note 15 5G teased: What to expect?

Xiaomi plans to release the Redmi Note 15 5G in the Indian market on 6th January 2026. But ahead of the official release, the device had some of its key specs revealed. The Chinese tech giant confirmed the new 108 MasterPixel camera in the previous teaser, which was showcased again. Unlike the 50MP camera in the Chinese variant, the global version has a higher resolution 108MP shooter.

The sensor will offer OIS (Optical Image Stabilization), 4K video recording, and it was even teased as a multifocal portrait legend. Apart from this, Xiaomi also claimed that the smartphone will bring a long battery life thanks to its 5,520mAh battery pack, which promises up to 1.6 days of usage and up to 5 years of total battery lifespan. The Redmi Note 15 5G supports 45W wired fast charging.

This appears quite similar to the specs of the Note 15 5G model that debuted in the European market. To recall, this model features Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 SoC under the hood, sports a tall 6.77-inch AMOLED display with an FHD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, an in-display fingerprint scanner, and an IP65 rating for water and dust resistance.
