Samsung dropped the first official One UI 8.5 teaser, showcasing redesigned apps. The latest teaser comes in a short/reel aspect ratio and hints at major changes coming to at least four core apps, including Messages, Game Booster, Camera and Wallet.

This year, Samsung’s marketing efforts ramped up significantly. The company is focusing on key features and the software streak has begun too.

In the first installment, Samsung released the official One UI 8.5 teaser, which highlights “The new One UI is coming!!”

Samsung Messages is getting prioritized years after Galaxy phones replaced it with Google Messages. Game Booster is also getting tweaked, and we expect new features to assist power gamers in their gameplay.

The stock Camera app will be receiving fruitful changes for the Galaxy S26 series. We will discuss them one by one as soon as Samsung rolls out the new devices. Samsung Wallet is also in highlight, expanding digital footprints.

One UI 8.5 is not new; it’s already available in Beta, but the version tailored for the Galaxy S26 series will be something different. Samsung wants you to be hyped for that version, debuting with the next-gen Galaxy phones.

Samsung is launching the Galaxy S26 series on February 25. The live event will take place in San Francisco, United States. The first sale is expected to start on March 11, which will mark the release date of One UI 8.5.

Recently, Samsung released the One UI 8.5 Beta 4 update for the Galaxy S25 series. Preparations to provide the fifth Beta firmware have also begun. The Stable deployment will likely start sometime in April, starting with the S25 lineup.
