TM Roh predicts Galaxy S26 will beat S25

Samsung could manage to sell more Galaxy S26 smartphones than it did last year with the Galaxy S25 series. Industry is looking forward if the Korean tech giant could hit the 40 million shipments milestone this year.

Meanwhile, TM Roh seems quite confident about the Galaxy S26 series sales. The Mobile Business Head is betting big on the new flagship phones. Based on early response, he believes the new devices will outdo their predecessors.

“The Galaxy S26 is receiving positive feedback from carriers and partners globally. We are targeting sales that surpass the previous model.”

One UI 8.5 is AI OS

Galaxy AI is gradually transitioning to AI OS, starting with the S26 series. The new flagships come with Agentic AI capabilities that go beyond what Galaxy AI offered to Samsung fans.

AI OS is structured so that the entire OS, rather than individual apps, interprets the user’s context and connects functions. The smartphone itself can understand user intent and carry out the necessary tasks.

Galaxy S26 kickstarts the AI OS era and Samsung promised to take it further. The company will work closely with Google on that mission. Expect even more advancements in the future Galaxy devices, including the foldables.
