Galaxy Book 6 Pro and Ultra go on sale in the US, cheapest model still missing

Samsung Galaxy Book 6 Pro and Ultra US launch went live today. The company quietly delayed the entry-tier Galaxy Book 6, leaving only the Pro and Ultra available to purchase right now.

The South Korean tech giant flipped the switch on sales for its new laptop lineup this morning, but is anyone hunting for that $1,049 base model? You’re out of luck.

Here’s what you can buy

The 14-inch Galaxy Book 6 Pro with an Intel Core Ultra 7 356H, 16GB of RAM, and 512GB storage runs $1,549. Bump that same chip to a 16-inch screen with double the storage, and you’re looking at $1,849.

Want 32GB of RAM? Add another hundred bucks per screen size, landing you at $1,949 or $2,049, depending on whether you go smaller or bigger.

Samsung’s throwing in $50 discounts on all of these, which feels less like generosity and more like table stakes in March 2026.

The Galaxy Book 6 Ultra starts at $2,399, and that version pairs 32GB RAM and 1TB storage with the Intel Core Ultra X7 358H and an Intel Arc B390 GPU. If you want discrete graphics, you’ll need the $2,949 model.

It swaps in the GeForce RTX 5060 but downgrades the processor to the Core Ultra 7 356H. So you’re paying $550 extra for a GPU bump while getting a technically slower chip.

Samsung confirmed weeks ago that the base Galaxy Book 6 would start at $1,049. The Galaxy Book 6 Pro and Ultra are available now at Samsung.com and through retail partners.
