“Arsenal”ın hücumçusu Qabriel Jesus karyerasını İtaliya klublarından birində davam etdirə bilər.
Komanda.az xarici KİV-ə istinadən xəbər verir ki, “Milan” braziliyalı futbolçu ilə müqavilə imzalamaqda maraqlıdır. İtaliya klubunun rəhbərliyi forvardı qış transfer pəncərəsində icarəyə götürməyə çalışacaq.
Jesus bu mövsüm “Arsenal”ın heyətində cəmi iki oyunda meydana çıxıb və qol vura bilməyib. Onun klubla müqaviləsinin müddəti 2027-ci ilin yayında başa çatacaq.
“Real”ın hücumçusu Vinisius Juniorun yaxın zamanda klubdan ayrılacağı ehtimalı azdır.
Komanda.az “Diario AS”-a istinadən xəbər verir ki, Madrid klubu braziliyalı futbolçunun müqaviləsini yeniləyəcəyinə tamamilə əmindir. Klub rəhbərliyi oyunçuya tam etibar edir və müqaviləsi bitdikdən sonra onun komandanı azad agent kimi tərk etməyəcəyinə inanırlar.
Həmçinin, Vinisiusun baş məşqçi Xabi Alonso ilə münaqişəsi tam həll olunub. Baş məşqçi forvardı “toxunulmaz” hesab edir.
Bu mövsüm mətbuatda yeni müqavilə şərtləriylə bağlı fikir ayrılıqları səbəbindən, 25 yaşlı futbolçunun 2026-cı ildə mümkün satışı haqda mütəmadi olaraq məlumatlar dolaşıb.
Starting in 2025, US visitors will face new entry rules and reservation systems as Italy, Venice, Greece, Netherlands, Spain, and France lead sustainable travel with tourist taxes (from €0.5 to €10 per night), capacity caps, and eco-friendly transport initiatives. These changes are a direct response to the growing need for responsible tourism, as destinations strive to balance the increasing influx of visitors with the preservation of their unique environments and historical sites. By leading the way in sustainable travel, these countries are setting a global example, urging travelers to adopt more conscious travel habits. For US tourists, this means adjusting to new norms, such as booking attractions in advance and following eco-friendly travel guidelines, ensuring that these cherished locations remain accessible and enjoyable for generations to come.
The growing awareness of the environmental impact of tourism has spurred many countries to rethink how they manage their tourism industries. These changes aim to balance the increasing demand for travel with the need to protect fragile ecosystems and local communities from the pressures of overtourism. With travel returning to pre-pandemic levels, these countries are stepping up efforts to ensure that tourism in 2025 and beyond is both responsible and sustainable.
Italy: Leading the Way with Sustainable Tourism Policies
Italy is stepping up its sustainability efforts, with the Italian government and local tourism boards implementing key measures to curb overtourism and protect the country’s iconic landscapes. A significant part of this effort is the introduction of tourist taxes in several cities, including Venice and Florence, where fees range from €3 to €10 per person per day. These funds are dedicated to preserving cultural landmarks and reducing environmental impacts caused by mass tourism.
Venice has been a pioneer in sustainability efforts, introducing a €3 to €10 reservation fee for day-trippers starting in 2025, aimed at controlling visitor numbers. This system will help preserve Venice’s historical sites and reduce overcrowding, a growing concern for the city’s fragile infrastructure and lagoon ecosystem.
Cinque Terre, another top Italian destination, introduced a €7.50 fee per visitor to access its walking trails in 2020. The fee helps manage the environmental impact of high visitor traffic in this UNESCO World Heritage-listed region.
Green Certifications: Italy’s tourism board is promoting eco-certifications like Green Key and EU Ecolabel, with over 1,000 Italian hotels already certified for their sustainable practices. The focus is on water and energy conservation, waste management, and supporting local produce and products.
These initiatives are part of Italy’s broader goal to promote slow tourism—encouraging visitors, especially US travelers, to explore lesser-known regions, stay longer, and engage in more sustainable activities.
Venice: Striking a Balance Between Tourism and Preservation
Venice’s battle with overtourism has led to the introduction of measures designed to protect its delicate environment. By 2025, US visitors will encounter a reservation system for major attractions such as St. Mark’s Square and the Doge’s Palace, with fees ranging between €3 to €10 per person based on the time of visit and visitor volume. The revenue will be used to fund preservation efforts and infrastructure improvements.
Tourism Tax: Venice’s tourism tax was introduced in 2020 and will be extended with stricter controls. Day-trippers, including US tourists, will need to pre-register and pay fees to visit the city, allowing authorities to limit the number of tourists during peak periods.
Sustainable Water Transport: Venice is investing in electric water taxis to reduce the pollution caused by traditional watercraft, with €1 million in funding allocated to developing these eco-friendly alternatives for public transport.
Greece: Shaping Sustainable Tourism with Entry Rules and Caps
Greece is setting the standard for sustainable tourism in popular islands like Santorini and Crete through its proactive approach to managing visitor numbers and implementing sustainable practices. Greece’s tourism tax ranges from €0.5 to €4 per night, depending on the accommodation type, with the funds being used to preserve Greece’s cultural and natural heritage.
Santorini has already implemented a cap on cruise passengers, limiting daily arrivals to 10,000 people, down from over 20,000 previously, reducing the environmental strain on the island’s resources. The Greek Ministry of Tourism is also encouraging the use of electric vehicles and public transport, offering incentives for eco-friendly car rentals on the islands.
Crete has introduced a program to promote organic, locally sourced food, encouraging US tourists to support local businesses that adhere to sustainable practices. It also focuses on preserving its biodiversity and reducing the impact of tourism on sensitive sites like its Gorges of Samaria.
Netherlands: Championing Eco-Friendly Travel with Cycling and Green Hotels
The Netherlands is at the forefront of promoting sustainable tourism through its tourism board, NBTC. The country has launched a €3 million initiative to increase the visibility of eco-tourism experiences, encouraging visitors, particularly US tourists, to explore the country’s rich landscapes using sustainable modes of transport, such as bicycles.
Amsterdam, known for its cycling culture, is investing €10 million in infrastructure improvements to promote cycling as the primary mode of transport for tourists. The city has also introduced a €3 per night tourism tax that funds sustainable projects, including green urban spaces and public transport.
Green Hotels: Amsterdam promotes eco-friendly accommodations, with over 250 green-certified hotels across the country offering energy-efficient services, waste reduction practices, and sustainable food sourcing.
Spain: Implementing Tourist Taxes and Green Certifications
Spain has implemented several initiatives to ensure sustainable tourism, particularly in regions like the Balearic Islands and Barcelona, where tourist taxes and sustainable practices are integral parts of the tourism strategy.
Balearic Islands: Since 2016, the tourist tax in the Balearic Islands (which includes Mallorca and Ibiza) has generated over €50 million for sustainability projects. The fee ranges from €1 to €4 per night, with funds directed toward environmental conservation, public infrastructure, and the promotion of eco-friendly hotels and restaurants.
Barcelona: The city has rolled out new sustainable tourism regulations, limiting access to certain sites during peak hours. Visitors, including US tourists, to La Sagrada Familia will need to reserve tickets in advance, reducing overcrowding. The city also focuses on electric vehicle rentals and sustainable accommodation options for travelers.
Carbon Offset Programs: Spain’s tourism board is partnering with organizations to offer carbon offset programs, especially for long-haul flights. US visitors are encouraged to offset the emissions from their travel by supporting local environmental projects, such as forest conservation and renewable energy installations.
France: Embracing Sustainable Travel with Carbon Neutrality and Eco-Tourism
France is advancing its commitment to sustainable tourism through a series of regulations and initiatives aimed at reducing the environmental impact of tourism. The country’s tourism tax ranges from €0.83 to €4.24 per night, depending on the accommodation type. The funds are used for environmental projects, including waste management, energy conservation, and promoting green urban spaces.
Paris has set ambitious goals to become carbon-neutral by 2050, with a focus on reducing car traffic and promoting public transport. The city has introduced eco-friendly bike tours and electric vehicle options for visitors. Paris has also invested in green spaces, creating areas for relaxation and nature in the urban environment.
Provence and Chamonix have implemented eco-tourism initiatives, such as promoting organic food experiences and sustainable hiking tours. Chamonix, a popular ski destination, uses renewable energy for ski lifts and encourages low-impact skiing practices to preserve the natural landscape.
A Unified Approach to Sustainable Travel
These new regulations across Italy, Venice, Greece, the Netherlands, Spain, and France represent a unified approach to sustainable travel, one that acknowledges the need to balance tourism with environmental and cultural preservation. By introducing reservation systems, limiting visitor numbers, and implementing new entry rules, these destinations are aiming to reduce the negative impacts of overtourism.
For US visitors, these changes will require adjustments. Travelers will need to plan their trips well in advance, booking entry tickets for popular sites and ensuring they meet the new requirements for sustainable travel. In addition to reducing the environmental footprint of tourism, these measures are designed to improve the overall visitor experience by reducing overcrowding and offering a more relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere.
The Future of Sustainable Travel
As the world continues to grapple with the impacts of climate change and the growing pressure of mass tourism, the leading destinations in Europe are setting the tone for the future of travel. The changes introduced in 2025 will not only affect how tourists experience these iconic destinations, but they will also inspire other countries and cities around the world to follow suit. Sustainable travel is no longer just a trend but a necessary step toward ensuring the long-term viability of global tourism.
While the new entry rules and reservation systems may require some extra planning, they are ultimately designed to improve the travel experience for everyone—locals and visitors alike. As travelers, we have a responsibility to respect the places we visit and contribute to their preservation for future generations.
Starting in 2025, US visitors will face new entry rules and reservation systems as Italy, Venice, Greece, Netherlands, Spain, and France implement measures like tourist taxes (up to €10 per night), visitor limits, and eco-friendly transport to promote sustainable travel and protect local environments.
With Italy, Venice, Greece, the Netherlands, Spain, and France at the forefront of the sustainable travel movement, US visitors can expect a very different travel experience in 2025 and beyond. As these countries lead the way in implementing new entry rules, reservation systems, and eco-friendly initiatives, travelers will need to adapt to the new norms of responsible tourism. By planning ahead and embracing these changes, visitors can enjoy their trips while helping to preserve these cherished destinations for years to come.
A formal reception was given to Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, on Sunday, at the Presidential Palace in Nicosia, marking the first official visit of a UAE President to the Republic of Cyprus. This visit ushers in a new chapter in the history of the bilateral relations between both countries and came to emphasize tourism cooperation, economic growth, and cultural exchange. The partnership in tourism development will go a long way in positioning Cyprus and UAE as leading countries offering sustainable tourism and luxury travel experiences. The two leaders also deliberated on future tourism collaborations in the domains of luxury tourism, cultural tourism, and eco-tourism for mutual growth and attracting more international visitors.
Future Tourism Cooperation: Expanding Regional and Global Connectivity
The tourism partnership between Cyprus and the UAE is poised to expand regional tourism while fostering global connectivity. With the UAE’s strong presence in luxury tourism and Cyprus’s diverse tourism offerings, the two nations have the opportunity to collaborate on initiatives that blend luxury travel with cultural exploration.
A key aspect of future tourism cooperation will be the increased air connectivity between Cyprus and UAE, enhancing travel options for tourists. As more direct flights are introduced between Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Cyprus, the seamless connectivity will encourage more UAE travelers to explore Cyprus, and vice versa, leading to increased visitor numbers in both destinations.
Promoting Luxury and Cultural Tourism: A Shared Vision
Both Cyprus and the UAE are known for their luxury travel offerings. With its stunning beaches, world-class resorts, and historic sites like the Ancient City of Kourion, Cyprus aligns well with the UAE’s growing interest in luxury tourism and cultural exchange. Future joint marketing campaigns and tourism promotions will highlight the unique blend of luxury, cultural heritage, and eco-tourism in both countries, attracting affluent travelers and cultural enthusiasts from around the world.
Additionally, Cyprus’s role as a cultural tourism hub with a rich historical legacy, including UNESCO World Heritage sites like the Tomb of the Kings and Kyrenia Castle, will align with the UAE’s emphasis on promoting its own cultural heritage and art. Together, these nations can drive tourism experiences that promote both ancient traditions and modern luxury, benefiting both local economies and global tourism markets.
The future of tourism cooperation between Cyprus and the UAE will also focus on sustainability and eco-friendly tourism initiatives. Both countries have recognized the importance of sustainable travel practices to preserve their natural and cultural resources while providing meaningful and responsible travel experiences. By sharing knowledge and best practices, the two nations can develop eco-tourism offerings that attract travelers who are looking for both luxury and sustainability.
This includes promoting nature-based tourism in regions such as Cyprus’s Akamas Peninsula and the UAE’s desert resorts, where visitors can explore the beauty of untouched landscapes while respecting local ecosystems. Future sustainable tourism projects will not only provide eco-conscious tourists with memorable experiences but also help maintain the long-term health of the tourism industry in both countries.
Economic Growth and Long-Term Tourism Impact
The future impact of tourism cooperation between Cyprus and the UAE will contribute significantly to the economic growth of both nations. Tourism spending will increase in key regions, supporting local businesses, job creation, and infrastructure development. By focusing on diverse tourism offerings, including luxury tourism, wellness tourism, cultural tourism, and sustainable travel, the two countries will attract higher-value tourists who spend more during their stays, thus enhancing the economic resilience of both nations.
Additionally, the collaboration between tourism authorities and private sector stakeholders will create more tourism-focused investments, including hotel developments, cultural programs, and event hosting, leading to long-term economic benefits. As Cyprus continues to grow its tourism market and the UAE expands its cultural and luxury tourism influence, their joint efforts will elevate both countries’ positions on the global tourism map.
A Bright Future for Cyprus-UAE Tourism Relations
The UAE President’s visit to Cyprus marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter in tourism cooperation between the two countries. The focus on luxury tourism, cultural exchange, and sustainable travel will ensure that both nations continue to grow as top global destinations for travelers seeking authentic, immersive experiences.
Through strategic partnerships, joint ventures, and shared goals, Cyprus and UAE will strengthen their positions as regional tourism leaders and provide more opportunities for economic growth. The development of tourism infrastructure, coupled with a focus on responsible travel and sustainable tourism practices, will guarantee the continued success of the tourism sector in both countries, ensuring a future of sustainable growth and cultural connection.
A Promising Future for Cyprus and UAE in Global Tourism
As long as Cyprus and UAE continue to deepen their tourism collaboration, it will be a bright future for both. At the heart of luxury tourism, cultural exchange, and sustainability, the tourism sectors of Cyprus and the UAE are going to thrive and charm the next generation of global travelers. Further cooperation between Cyprus and the UAE is sure to set a standard in place for strategic tourism partnerships, which will power regional growth, foster cultural appreciation, and bring economic prosperity in the years to come.

The best Italy goal-scorer during the Luciano Spalletti era, Frattesi, will be glad to reunite with the ex-Azzurri boss, but negotiations between the two clubs might not be so easy.
Inter expert Pasquale Guarro and Gazzetta, in fact, claim that the Nerazzurri will likely ask for Khephren Thuram if Juventus knock on their door for Frattesi.

The move would allow the Nerazzurri to reunite the two Thuram brothers at San Siro, as Marcus has been playing for Inter since 2023.
According to Guarro, Khephren Thuram was already an Inter target last summer, alongside Roma’s Manu Kone and Atalanta’s Ederson.

Belarus was represented at the Intourmarket 2025 Winter Exhibition held in St. Petersburg, where it showcased its developing tourist potential by presenting an array of tourism opportunities targeting Russian as well as foreign tourists. Hosted by the National Tourism Agency of Belarus, with support from the Japan National Tourism Organization Dubai Office, it was the perfect setting for Belarus to showcase its tourist offerings.
Being one of the biggest tourist events that brought together more than 50 tourism specialists, it showed that Belarus is striving to make its portfolio more diverse for various tourist groups. Including health resorts, gourmet tourism, and more, it gave a broad overview of what Belarus has to offer, which totally corresponds to the vision of the future of tourism for Belarus—a leader for both tourism and business.
A Diverse Range of Attractions to Fuel Belarus’ Future Tourism
Belarus is capitalizing on its strategic location in Eastern Europe and its unique cultural identity to attract visitors looking for something different. The updated tourist map and the newly introduced MICE tourism catalog are crucial tools designed to facilitate business tourism and leisure travel across Belarus. By focusing on the MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Events) sector, Belarus is aiming to increase its attractiveness as a destination for corporate events, conferences, and international summits, anticipating growth in the business tourism market in the coming years.
Pripyatsky National Park and Braslav Lakes National Park were also highlighted at the exhibition, with a focus on promoting eco-tourism and nature-based travel. The country’s wealth of natural treasures is central to its future tourism strategy. As travelers increasingly seek sustainable and immersive experiences in nature, these national parks offer an opportunity for Belarus to position itself as a leading eco-tourism destination, particularly appealing to international visitors who prioritize conservation and authentic outdoor experiences.
In addition, Braslav Lakes, a popular spot for Russian tourists, is preparing to offer even more accessible tourism programs, reinforcing the country’s commitment to making its natural attractions accessible for all. These efforts are expected to contribute significantly to Belarus’ future tourism growth by appealing to a diverse global audience, including those interested in family travel, adventure tourism, and wellness retreats.
Gastronomic Tourism: A Key Pillar for Future Growth
Gastronomic tourism in Belarus is also set for growth, with December officially declared as the month of gastronomic tourism. The introduction of gastronomic tours at the exhibition gives Belarus a distinct advantage as it seeks to engage travelers interested in exploring a country through its culinary traditions. From traditional Belarusian dishes to local food products, the focus on food tourism is part of a broader strategy to enhance the country’s appeal for international travelers, especially in Western Europe and Russia.
The growing gastronomic tourism sector will provide a long-term opportunity for Belarus to strengthen its position in the global tourism market. As tourists increasingly seek culinary experiences that connect them to the history and culture of the places they visit, Belarus plans to continue developing gastronomic routes that highlight both traditional flavors and modern interpretations of its rich culinary heritage.
Cultural Heritage: Vytsinanka and Belarus’ Unique Identity
Cultural tourism remains a cornerstone of Belarus’ tourism strategy, and Vytsinanka, the traditional paper cutting art, was showcased to reinforce the country’s deep connection to its cultural roots. This form of folk art was used to decorate the national stand at the exhibition, giving it a distinctive, culturally rich appearance. The incorporation of Vytsinanka symbolizes Belarus’ commitment to preserving and sharing its cultural identity, and this will play a crucial role in the country’s future tourism appeal.
As cultural tourism continues to grow globally, Belarus is poised to benefit from its unique cultural offerings, from historic sites to traditional crafts. The Kitano Ijinkan district and Kobe Mosque in Kobe stand as a testament to the multicultural influences in the country, creating a future opportunity for increased visits from those interested in exploring cultural diversity and spiritual heritage.
Future Tourism Vision: Sustainable Development and Global Appeal
Looking to the future, Belarus’ tourism vision is focused on sustainable growth. The country plans to enhance its tourism infrastructure, improve regional accessibility, and develop new tourism products that appeal to international travelers. The future of Belarus’ tourism is centered on sustainability, particularly through eco-tourism initiatives, creating a balance between visitor growth and environmental preservation.
With gastronomic tourism, cultural heritage, and nature-based travel as key pillars, Belarus is positioning itself to become a leading destination for those seeking a unique combination of nature, culture, and sustainable experiences. Furthermore, the development of MICE tourism will solidify Belarus’ place on the map as a destination for international business events.
Intourmarket 2025: A Stepping Stone for Future Growth
The Intourmarket 2025 Winter Exhibition represents a significant step forward for Belarus as it seeks to expand its global reach and increase its market share in the Russian tourism market. As the exhibition grows in scope and geographic reach, it provides Belarus with the ideal opportunity to introduce its tourism offerings to a broader audience and develop mutually beneficial tourism collaborations.
Participation in such major exhibitions is part of Belarus’ strategy to diversify its tourism appeal and tap into emerging markets in Asia, Europe, and beyond. By focusing on its natural beauty, gastronomic experiences, and MICE opportunities, Belarus is laying the groundwork for a prosperous future in tourism, with plans to attract more international tourists in the years to come.
A Future Full of Potential for Belarus Tourism
Belarus is developing a very promising future for tourism development related to eco-tourism, culinary tourism, and cultural tourism. The organization of the “Intourmarket 2025 Winter Exhibition” marks an important point for Belarus in its efforts to strengthen its role in the Russian tourism market as well as its development in other corners of the globe. Belarus is developing into one of the best tourist destinations in Eastern Europe as it focuses on sustainable tourism development, improving tourism in the region, as well as meeting the demands for cultural tourism.

As mobile gaming continues to surge in popularity, 2025 has emerged as one of the strongest years yet for gaming-centric smartphones. With powerful chipsets, high-refresh displays, advanced cooling systems, and massive batteries, the latest flagships aren’t just phones anymore; they are pocket-sized gaming rigs. Whether you’re into competitive shooters, open-world RPBs, or intense battle royales, there’s plenty of great gaming smartphones to choose from.
So here’s our list of the best gaming smartphones of 2025.
Red Magic 11 Pro+
There are only a few brands that have a pure gaming pedigree, like Red Magic. So if you want a phone built from the ground up for performance and long gaming sessions, look no further than the Red Magic 11 Pro+. Unlike modern flagships that aim to offer a balanced experience, the Chinese brand goes all in on gaming.
Red Magic 11 Pro+
It features a tall 6.85-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate for an immersive gaming experience. Powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, it pairs up to 24GB LPDDR5T RAM and up to 1TB UFS 4.1 storage, more than enough for even the most demanding mobile titles. But what truly sets it apart is the dual cooling system. Not only does it have an active cooling system with a physical RGB fan, but it also features a vapor chamber liquid cooling. You can even see this system in the words as the liquid moves around in the pipes on the back.
Apple iPhone 17 Pro Max
While Apple isn’t known to brand any of its devices as a gaming phone, the iPhone 17 Pro Max is a premium phone that delivers true flagship performance. Not only can you play some of the most intense mobile game titles, but Apple has also ported actual console-level games to its iOS platform.
Apple iPhone 17 Pro Max
So you can play popular games like Resident Evil 4, Assassin’s Creed Mirage, Death Stranding, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, and many more. So you have access to an impressive catalogue of games without relying on any particular streaming service.
iQOO 15
If you want flagship-class power without the premium flagship price, the iQOO 15 emerges as one of the best value flagships for gamers in 2025. It ships with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset that brings cutting-edge performance. Pair this with a tall 6.85-inch LTPO AMOLED display, and you get a smooth gameplay experience.
iQOO 15
One of its highlighting aspects is the massive 7,000mAh battery pack that promises long, uninterrupted gaming sessions. While it may lack some of the dedicated gaming-phone trappings like active cooling or shoulder triggers, its value-for-money positioning makes it attractive for casual and competitive gamers who don’t want to overspend.
OnePlus 15
The OnePlus 15 strikes a sweet balance between raw performance, everyday usability, and gaming-ready hardware. It is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 as well, but it pairs it with an even higher 165Hz refresh rate. The smooth display kicks in while you run certain titles, which brings an advantage in various competitive games.
OnePlus 15
This model outshines the iQOO 15 with its gigantic 7,300mAh battery pack that supports 120W wired fast charging as well as 50W wireless fast charging. It even supports bypass charging, which allows the device to run on a wired connection to prevent any overheating, so the battery doesn’t get damaged, and there is no performance throttling.
Honor GT Pro
Rounding out the list is the Honor GT Pro. A device that often flies under mainstream headlines but deserves attention if you’re serious about mobile gaming. While not always hyped, the Honor GT Pro has built a reputation for balancing performance, display quality, and capable cameras.
Honor GT Pro
Just like the rest of Android flagships in this list, you get the powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite and a huge 7,200mAh battery pack. Honor announced this model earlier in the year, so it arrived ahead of the current flagship generation. However, the brand marketed this as a dedicated gaming smartphone since it packed the Leading Edition variant of the Snapdragon 8 Elite along with a three stage cooling system that includes a 3D vapor cooling chamber, thermal conductive adhesive, and AI powered temperature control system.

OnePlus has started rolling out the stable OxygenOS 16 update for the OnePlus Open in North America, nearly a month after the update first arrived in India. Indian users received the stable build in November, followed by a smaller update in early December, while other regions were left waiting.
The update is being released in stages, so it will not reach all devices at once. OnePlus has said the rollout will expand to more regions over the next few weeks. For North America, the update arrives with build number CPH2551_16.0.1.300(EX01).
OxygenOS 16 is largely focused on improving how the system feels in daily use. Animations are smoother and more consistent across the interface, with better timing when opening, closing, or switching between apps. Drag and drop actions on the Home screen, widgets, folders, and the Smart Sidebar feel more fluid, and scrolling now follows touch input more closely. Transitions in the status bar, notification shade, and Quick Settings are smoother and can be interrupted mid gesture. Common actions such as charging, fingerprint unlock, audio controls, and long press actions across system apps now use updated animations with softer lighting effects.
Under the hood, performance improvements come from the updated Trinity Engine. It adjusts system resources in real time to keep performance steady during gaming, video playback, and long camera sessions. Background activity is better controlled during heavy use, helping reduce power drain. Games benefit from more stable frame rates, while pop up windows and video calls are handled more efficiently. Apps open faster from the Home screen, photo albums load quicker, and cached video previews appear sooner in supported third party apps. Power Saving mode now scales performance based on the remaining battery level.
OnePlus has also expanded its AI features across OxygenOS 16. Mind Space now supports voice memory recording by pressing and holding the Plus Key, including landscape capture. A new Mind Assistant makes it easier to search saved content and manage collections. The Photos app has been redesigned with simpler navigation, improved album sorting, and expanded video editing tools such as trimming, transitions, speed controls, filters, and background music. Motion photos can be turned into slow motion clips or collages without losing HDR quality.
Notes now supports block based editing, richer text formatting, image view switching, and one link sharing for full notes. The Recorder app gets a new layout, AI noise cancellation, automatic context detection, and easy sharing of audio files, transcripts, and summaries. AI Translate has been refined for smoother real time use. AI Writer is now available system wide, allowing users to generate text, summaries, tables, and mind maps directly inside apps. AI VoiceScribe and Call Summary also offer better context detection and more export options.
Design changes include the new Flux Home screen with light field style icons, customizable grids, folders, widgets, and a cleaner layout without icon labels. AI powered Flux themes add motion wallpapers, adaptive icons, Always On Display updates, and real time customization. Core apps such as Clock, Calculator, and Compass have also been refreshed.
The update also improves connectivity with features like Touch to Share, better OnePlus Connect PC mirroring, cross device clipboard and search, improved in car Bluetooth, My Devices controls, stronger network sharing, and smoother data transfer from iOS. On the security side, OxygenOS 16 adds warnings for risky apps and new options to lock or hide apps directly from the Home screen.
More and more people view Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Hong Kong, and Qatar as ideal places to earn and save money, as well as live a desired lifestyle. These Asian countries are redefining the meaning of financial freedom and unencumbered living. All of the countries increase the ability to live and build wealth, as each provides high salaries, low inflation, and exceptional savings. These countries also provide financial security, as one is able to enjoy the benefits of earning a high salary and saving a massive portion of one’s money. With affordable living, high salaries, and low inflation, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and Oman top the list. Hong Kong also has high savings and is a promising country to live in. Other residents in the country are as high as the top in all of Asia in savings. The financial dreams of people in these Asian countries are materializing in 2025. In this article, Travel and Tour World analyzes why Qatar is the most popular option for people seeking a stress-free life financially. Countries like Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, and Hong Kong all appear to be stiff competitors in this race, but why is Qatar the best option? Read on to find out.
Qatar: The No. 1 Country For Working, Earning, and Saving – Financial Freedom 2025
If financial freedom is your goal, there’s no better place to start your journey than Qatar. Known as the most secure and safest country, Qatar has changed the definition of being financially secure. The economy is strong, the salaries are as high as ever, and while the cost of living is not cheap, the lifestyle is rewarding and worth it. Qataris enjoy a whopping 78% more purchasing power compared to other countries. There are not many other countries where living is as rewarding as Qatar.
Qatar has an average wage of 3600 dollars a month. And that’s right, there’s no income tax! Qatar has an average living cost that is considerably lower than other high-income countries like Singapore. Overall expenses in a day cost nearly half compared to Singapore. The inflation rate is 1.2%, and the average wealth in the country is 165k per Qatar adult. Qatar has rightfully earned this paradise.
Benefits of Financial Security in Singapore
Regarding financial security and the ability to save money, Singapore is hands down the best place to save and live. Earning about $4,600 a month with relatively low stress is one of the best in the world. The cost of living in the country is very affordable, as it has one of the lowest inflation rates in the world at 0.7%. Residents live comfortably, while also being able to save a great deal of money.
Singapore has the most financial savings as a country, at 41% of its GDP. The financial security of the country allows the residents to live a financial life many have only dreamt of, with an average wealth per person of $383,000. One can live in Singapore and experience a life with little financial risk. Singapore has become the most financially capable country in Asia, and it can be a great place to live if one wants to have an affluent lifestyle.
Earn Big, Live Big, and Save Even Bigger in Kuwait
Across Asia, Kuwait stands out as the top in its field, boasting an average salary of 3,200 USD and a purchasing power of 197.2! That means Kuwaiti’s pay 2x less for expenses than people in other countries. On top of that, there is no income tax, which allows Kuwaitis to transfer their earnings completely to their bank accounts. Kuwait’s salary and cost of living are on par with the average value that they offer in their region. So, Kuwait is the best in providing high earnings and low living costs.
Not only is Kuwait’s purchasing power the best in Asia, but its average wealth per adult is also an astounding 175,000 USD! Additionally, there is a low inflation rate of 2.4% to ensure that other countries’ inflation rate is taken completely out of the value of their residents’ wealth. Kuwait’s policies allow its residents to build their savings, negating the constant pressure other countries put on their residents. For these reasons, Kuwait has become a top attraction in Asia for those seeking financial freedom.
Saudi Arabia: Easy Living, High Wages, and No Taxation
Saudi Arabia does not pay as much as Qatar and Singapore, but on the other hand, it is one of the most sought-after places in Asia, providing good employment opportunities. Their average monthly salary is $2200, and since there are no taxes, employees make 100% of their salary. Salaries are high, and the cost of living is very low, making it possible to make a good profit.
Saudi Arabia is so different from the other countries in the Middle East, also due to the low price of rent. Houses and apartments are about 3.5 times the average salary of the whole year, making it one of the cheapest countries in Asia to live in. The adult average wealth in Saudi Arabia is $91000. Saudi Arabia is a country with low living costs, reasonable salaries, and people are able to make and save a lot of money.
UAE: A Tax-Free Haven with Unmatched Earning Potential
The United Arab Emirates (UAE) ranks 5th with about $3,200 an average monthly salary. As is the case with Qatar and Kuwait, UAE residents have the privilege of not paying income tax and hence get to keep the full amount of their salary. The purchasing power index is 131.6, meaning it is 32% higher than the global average. With only 1.2% inflation and household debt only constituting 25% of GDP, Dubai is ideal for saving and investing for the future.
Also worth mentioning are the financial benefits, whose average wealth per adult is $153,000. With low cost of living, high income, and financial discipline, the UAE is a place that offers the greatest opportunity to attain financial independence.
Hong Kong:Big Savings Despite Big Costs
Even with how expensive Hong Kong is, it is still one of the biggest cities in Asia. Even with high costs and inflation, the residents of Hong Kong have a very diverse banking system and thrive in financial stability.
Each month in Hong Kong, an individual is paid 3,700, which is lower than and not as high as places like Africa, Singapore, and even Qatar. Economic stability is very high in Hong Kong as inflation is low, and strong banking security is in place. Hong Kong is financially successful thanks to its banking policies and stability.
Oman: A Hidden Gem for Financial Freedom in Asia
Oman is not usually one of the best-performing countries in the best-performing country financial freedom ratings, but it offers its residents the best opportunity to make good earnings and save more. Oman has a good average monthly salary of $2,300, a very high purchasing power of $2,300, and a very low cost of living. The country has an inflation rate of a mere 1.1%. The residents enjoy the high levels of quality of life in the country without the financial pressures experienced in most other countries.
Oman has an average adult wealth of 49,000 in the country. The encouraging saving and investment policies make the country attractive to those wishing to save and make future investments. The country’s good economic policies make it possible for the residents to live without worries about the cost of living and whether the debts are likely to rise.
Japan: A Strong Economy That Helps You Save More
Japan does not have one of the highest salaries in the other countries in the earning list, but it has one of the most effective, strong economies and low inflation in other countries, which makes it a great place to achieve the dream of financial freedom. The average earnings in the country are 2000, and the purchasing power is one of the highest at 29% which is above the baseline. It is a more stable financial environment that encourages savings and financial investment in the future.
Japan has an average wealth per adult of $216,000, which says a lot about the nation’s ability to help its citizens build wealth. Even though the cost of living is higher than in other countries, the low inflation (2.9%) and stable, low-inflation economy is ideal for those wanting to make the most of their finances.
South Korea’s Economy Is Perfect For Saving
Just like Japan, South Korea has a stable economy and very good earning potential for its citizens. South Koreans have a good standard of living and good purchasing power (122.2) for an average monthly wage of $2,300. With an inflation rate of just 2.1%, it’s a good country to save wealth in.
The average wealth per adult in South Korea is $231,000. With this wealth, citizens enjoy a strong financial ability. With a good economy, solid earning potential, and a pretty low cost of living, it brings a lot of opportunity for financial mobility and for those looking to build and save wealth, a secure financial future.
Kazakhstan: An Emerging Financial Power in Asia
Though still affordable, Kazakhstan is one of the better options financially for the freedom of a growing economy and low cost of living, with an average salary of $500 a month. But with a considerably high purchasing power, with an index of 56.5.
Its average wealth per adult is $58,000. Kazakhstan has a 12.9% inflation rate, and though concerning, it is balanced out with an overall low cost of living that’s beneficial for saving.
Conclusion: How to Achieve Financial Freedom in Asia
This analysis indicates that earning a decent salary is only one part of the financial freedom equation in Asia. It also relies heavily on affordable living and strong savings practices. Countries such as Qatar, Kuwait, and the UAE, as well as Singapore, find that balance with low inflation, high salaries, and ample financial opportunities.
Living in these countries allows individuals to not only earn more but also save more, guaranteeing a more secure financial future. These Asian countries, including the economically stable Kuwait, tax-free Qatar, and Singapore, with high purchasing power, create the perfect conditions for attaining financial independence.
As travellers look ahead to 2026, Minor Hotels has revealed an insightful new trend report focusing on a deeper, more meaningful approach to travel. According to the findings of the inaugural Traveling Deeper: A Search for Lasting Connection report, the future of tourism is evolving beyond just destinations. In 2026, travellers will prioritise emotional, relational, and spiritual connections, seeking authentic experiences that resonate on a personal level.
Despite ongoing economic uncertainties, the outlook for 2026 is optimistic. Ninety-four percent of surveyed travellers are planning to travel at least as much or more in the coming year, with 47 percent intending to increase their travel budgets. The growing desire for multi-dimensional travel experiences underlines a shift in how people engage with destinations, where quality and meaningful connections outweigh the mere act of travel.
Travelling Deeper: Seeking More Than Just Destinations
Minor Hotels’ report highlights a strong focus on deeper connections in 2026. Modern travellers are no longer content with simply ticking destinations off a list. Instead, they want to forge personal connections, immerse themselves in local cultures, and find meaning in their journeys. This shift in mentality is leading to a move away from traditional sightseeing towards experiences that offer personal fulfilment, growth, and engagement with both the destination and others.
Key to this change is the increased desire for multi-generational travel. Families and groups are looking for experiences that allow them to bond and create memories together. Over 86 percent of respondents indicated that quality time with family and friends is the most important aspect when planning leisure travel. Simple experiences such as dining together, engaging in cultural activities, and spending time relaxing are topping the list of preferred activities for travellers seeking togetherness.
Wellbeing and Solitude in Travel
While group travel remains popular, there is also a strong emphasis on individual wellbeing during trips. Many travellers are opting for experiences that allow for solitude and time to disconnect from the outside world. Seventy-one percent of those surveyed agree that taking a break from technology, social media, and work is essential to their personal wellbeing during travel. As a result, spa treatments, fitness activities, and nature-based experiences are expected to see a surge in popularity in 2026.
The rise of wellness tourism is closely linked to this shift. More than 44 percent of travellers plan to integrate wellness activities into their travels, with 73 percent of regular wellness practisers stating they are prioritising these experiences even more. Destinations that offer tranquillity, natural beauty, and wellness-centred activities will be in high demand as travellers look to recharge both physically and mentally during their vacations.
Cultural Immersion and Authenticity
Cultural immersion remains a critical component of travel for those seeking deeper connections. Food, in particular, plays a significant role in shaping travel experiences. Eighty-five percent of travellers consider local cuisine the best way to connect with a destination, with history and nature also featuring prominently in travel decision-making. The report shows that 83 percent of respondents choose destinations based on opportunities for local immersion, while 79 percent favour independent exploration over guided tours, underscoring the desire for authenticity and real connections with local cultures.
Travellers are increasingly seeking out destinations that allow them to live like locals, participating in daily activities and exploring hidden gems off the beaten path. This preference for authentic, unfiltered experiences will drive the demand for more independent, immersive travel options in 2026.
Sustainability and Responsible Hospitality Drive Loyalty
Sustainability is no longer just a buzzword; it is becoming a key driver of travel decisions. Nearly 47 percent of respondents said a hotel’s sustainability initiatives influence their decision on where to stay. With growing concerns about the environmental impact of tourism, travellers are increasingly prioritising hotels and destinations that support responsible hospitality practices. This includes sustainable practices, eco-friendly facilities, and active participation in cultural and social initiatives that contribute to local communities.
Hotels that embrace sustainability in their operations and provide guests with opportunities to engage in eco-conscious travel are gaining an edge in this competitive market. Conscious travel choices are expected to dominate the industry in the coming years, with travellers seeking brands that align with their values of social and environmental responsibility.
A New Era of Travel in 2026
As the travel industry moves into 2026, Minor Hotels’ Travel Trends Report reveals a clear shift towards deeper, more meaningful experiences. Whether it’s through quality time spent with loved ones, connecting with local cultures, or prioritising personal wellbeing, travellers are seeking a more fulfilling journey. Hotels that recognise these changing preferences and cater to the growing demand for authentic, mindful travel will be best positioned for success in the year ahead. The rise of sustainable tourism and wellness-focused offerings also presents an opportunity for the industry to meet the evolving needs of today’s conscious traveller.
In the coming years, travel will no longer be just about the destinations but about the connections made, the stories told, and the personal transformations experienced. As this trend gains momentum, destinations and hotels that offer authentic and conscious experiences will shape the future of travel.
Juventus fans might’ve forgotten that he still plays for them, but Arkadiusz Milik today returned to training with the full squad for the first time in 550 days.
The striker arrived from Olympique Marseille on loan in 2022 and then made the move permanent for a total €8m in the summer of 2023.
He made 75 competitive appearances in the Juventus jersey, scoring 17 goals and providing two assists.
The most recent of those games was the 2-0 Serie A victory over Monza on May 25, 2024.

Luciano Spalletti says Juventus will no longer go into a training retreat before games and confirms he has suggested ‘everyone’ to hire Bologna coach Vincenzo Italiano, ‘not just to President Aurelio De Laurentiis.’
Spalletti’s Juventus will visit Bologna at the Stadio Dall’Ara on Sunday, meeting a direct rival in the race for the top four.
Bologna, in fact, are three points above the Old Lady, who ranks 7th in the Serie A table.
Spalletti previewed tomorrow’s match at a press conference, starting with team news.

“Daniele Rugani can already be deployed. As for Bremer, because of his previous injury, he still needs time, and we must be cautious even if he’s available and wants to be there,” Spalletti told reporters via Ilbianconero.com.
Asked whether he’ll have more time next week to test a four-man defence in training, Spalletti replied: “I’m still surprised when I hear about systems in the field. In today’s football, it has changed a little. You don’t win by occupying positions, but spaces, deciding where you want to bring the game. We are going towards one-on-one across the pitch, and we have to adapt. It’s true that I want to use a 4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1, trying to do something different, but it’s just the starting point because the game forces you to use other systems during the match.”
Francisco Conceiçao made a substitute appearance in Wednesday’s Champions League win over Pafos, contributing to a 2-0 win, but Spalletti expects a further step forward from the Portuguese.
“His development lies in becoming more decisive. He needs to increase the chances of scoring and be more determined in the attacking phase,” said the Juventus boss.
“He has this lethal outburst of pace that puts you in real trouble when he accelerates. Let’s also add some defensive phases, some duels, but I’ve seen great willingness to track back and help out, so we’re on the right path.”
The Juventus tactician was full of praise for Bologna and their coach, Italiano, confirming he had suggested Napoli hire the Bologna boss in 2023.

“There are certainly things you can learn from Italiano. For me, he’s one of the best young coaches we have, and I’ve told everyone to get Italiano, not just President De Laurentiis.
“Credit goes to the coach and those who built the team. They have great quality and know exactly where they want to go,” continued Spalletti.
“They fear nothing and force you into a huge number of duels; they don’t care about how much space they leave behind. We have to break down these fences, not go man against man, but beyond the man. If we are not ready for this, it will be a complicated evening for us to talk about.
“Personality is a fundamental aspect of football. In the past, it only belonged to those who dared a risky play; today, is about accepting a full-pitch battle, pushing the opponents into the spaces you want, beyond the technical gesture,” Spalletti added.
“One single play might be enough to get a passing grade [from the media], but to play like a champion, you have to be in the heart of the team for 90 minutes and close to the ball.
“No one will convince me not to expect great things from these lads; no one will convince me that they aren’t good. A coach has to be obsessed with the idea of improving the team.”
Last but not least, Spalletti said the team would no longer go into a training retreat before matches, which means they won’t travel to Bologna until tomorrow morning.
“A training retreat isn’t a place, but a mental condition,” concluded Spalletti.
“We won’t do it anymore because, as far as I’m concerned, it’s an extra burden. If you are dealing with a group of players with the right mental condition, like those at Juventus, you don’t go into a training retreat. Whoever plays for Juventus is always in this mindset, so we’ll leave tomorrow morning.”
Juventus are preparing to visit Bologna at the Stadio Dall’Ara tomorrow, but the eve of the game has been shaken by the news that minority shareholders Tether have made an offer to buy a majority stake from Exor.

Minutes before Spalletti’s pre-match press conference, Elkann released a statement through the Juventus website insisting that the club was not for sale: “We’ll continue to support our team and look to the future to build a winning Juve,” said the club owner.
“Even though I arrived only recently, it makes me happy to feel the strength and passion that John Elkann and family have for this club,” Spalletti said (via Ilbianconero.com).
“It is clear that it is up to us to give substance and concreteness to this passion, honouring the last and building a future on the same level, or even a better one, as John Elkann himself told us when he came to visit us.”

The Italian tactician revealed he had spoken to Elkann on Friday: “Yes, and I saw him too, a few hours ago, just yesterday,” he said.
“Sometimes, he sends me his thoughts, and I’m glad about it. In this case, he mentioned the future as well and clearly, as I said when I arrived, the objective is to always aim for the top when you are part of this kind of club.”

“Juve have been part of my family for 102 years, in the real sense of the word, because over the course of a century, we’ve seen four generations make it bigger, stronger, protected it during difficult moments and celebrated in the many happy times.
“That is not all. Juve are part of a much, much bigger family. The Bianconeri family. It is made up of millions of fans in Italy and around the world, who love Juve the way they love those closest to them.
“It is precisely thinking about this passion, this history of love that unites us for over a century, that as a family we continue to support our team and look to the future to build a winning Juve.
“Our Juventus, our history, our values, are not for sale.”

While there had been reports in recent years that Exor were frustrated at the amount of money going into stabilising Juve coffers, especially in the wake of the accounting scandal over inflated transfer fees, they never really seemed amenable to the idea of selling the club.
Tether were only founded in 2014 and are a cryptocurrency company, who currently have an 11.52 per cent stake in Juventus and one member on the board of directors, Francesco Garino.

Nvidia's GPU fleet management software can track spikes in power usage, monitor utilization, detect hotspots, spot anomalies, identify software errors, and detect the physical location of processors. However, the software is completely optional for its clients.
La Gazzetta dello Sport notes that Tether’s offer to buy Juventus is below the actual club’s value which is ‘realistically’ between €1.8 and 2 billion.

Gazzetta examines the Bianconeri’s financial situation, describing the Serie A giants as a ‘sleeping giant’ with considerable assets, including a club-owned stadium and training centres worth €450m, but also a poor financial situation with losses of nearly one billion in the last eight years that forced club owners to make cash injections for over €900m.
When Andrea Agnelli became the club’s President in May 2010, Juventus’ stock market capitalisation was €162m, and it peaked to €1.5 billion in 2019, driven by the signing of Cristiano Ronaldo a year earlier. Currently, Juventus are valued at €915m on the Milan stock exchange.
Football Benchmark’s latest report gives Juventus a value of €1.651 billion; according to Forbes, the club’s worth is slightly higher at €1.9 billion. Realistically, according to Gazzetta, the range lies between €1.8 billion and €2 billion.
With their statement, however, Tether assigned to Juventus an equity value of €1.1 billion. Considering the financial debt of around €300m, the enterprise value would be €1.4 billion, according to the crypto giants, below market estimates.
Don’t forget that, back in 2022, Elliott sold Milan, who didn’t have a club-owned stadium, to RedBird for €1.2 billion, while more recently, Atletico Madrid’s majority stake was acquired by Apollo with an enterprise value of €2.5 billion.
Four Juventus four capital increases in recent years

Even if Juventus have solid assets, they’ve been falling short financially in recent years, accumulating €999m in losses between 2014-15 and 2024-25. Juventus have not been profitable for the past eight seasons, requiring four capital increases.
The last one worth €98 was completed just a few weeks ago, when Exor and Tether subscribed their stakes, 65.4% and 11.5% respectively, for a total of €77m, while the remainder came from institutional investors.
However, there have been positive signals in recent months as, last season, the deficit was cut to €58m compared to €199m from the previous financial year.
The updated business plan targets break-even by the end of the 2026-27 campaign, but that will largely depend on results on the pitch, with access to the big Champions League prize money, and the increase of the players’ worth.
Marco Palestra is shining for Cagliari, but Atalanta still have control of the 20-year-old who was on Roma and Juventus’ agenda last summer.
Palestra has recently been linked with several Serie A heavyweights, a natural, if somewhat belated, recognition of the outstanding form shown by the 2005-born right-back.
Explosive, tireless and devastating down the flank, Palestra looks unstoppable, and tonight, he’ll experience a very special match as he’ll return home for Atalanta-Cagliari.

The promising defender will face the club that still own his registration rights, Atalanta.
Last summer, La Dea sent the 20-year-old to Cagliari on a dry loan deal. The Sardinians were looking for a replacement for Nadir Zortea, who had joined Bologna, and beat competition from Parma.

Even Juventus made an offer to sign Palestra last summer, as we reported on July 22. The Bianconeri were prepared to offer money and Filip Kostic, but Atalanta stood firm and opted to send Palestra on loan to Cagliari, keeping control of the player.
Tuttosport newspaper reports that Juventus are ready to make a new offer to extend Kenan Yildiz’s contract as the striker’s father, Engin, has landed in Turin.
Juventus are expected to continue talks over Yidiz’s contract extension in the coming days, according to Tuttosport.
The Turin-based paper claims that members of the Yildiz family have landed in Italy, and not just to spend holidays together.

The striker’s father Engin, in fact, is expected to meet with club directors for contract negotiations, helped by a well-known intermediary, Jorge Mendes.
Yildiz’s contract expires in June 2029, but the Bianconeri’s No.10 has now become a key player in the team, and his €1.5m salary does not reflect his status at the Allianz Stadium.

The Agnelli family is unwilling to sell Juventus despite a €1.1 billion offer from minority shareholders Tether, so we take a closer look at the blockchain-enabled platform and its CEO, Paolo Ardoino.
Tether announced an offer to buy a majority stake in Juventus from Exor on Friday night, but received a firm reply from the Bianconeri owners: “Negotiations are not underway regarding the sale of a stake in Juventus,” a spokesperson for the Agnelli family told La Gazzetta dello Sport.
How do Tether make money?

Founded in 2014, the Tether cryptocurrency has grown massively over the last few years and its CEO, Paolo Ardoino, is a life-long Juventus supporter. Tether already holds an 11,52% stake in Juventus and is represented in the Juventus board of directors by Francesco Garino.
As reported by Gazzetta, the main difference between Tether and other popular cryptocurrencies, such as Bitcoin or Ethereum, is its lower volatility.
Tether’s value is pegged to the US dollar, and its users appreciate it for its stability rather than the hope of profiting from market speculations.
Gazzetta explains that Tether has ‘built its success on its effectiveness in supporting international transactions without the involvement and costs of various intermediaries, such as banks.’
The company is headquartered in El Salvador and reported profits exceeding €13 billion in 2024. Tether’s core focus lies in cryptocurrencies, blockchains and technological innovation, including artificial intelligence.
As previously mentioned, its CEO, Paolo Ardoino, is a life-long Juventus supporter who has become increasingly popular among Bianconeri supporters on social media, especially X, thanks to his motto ‘Make Juventus great again.’
Gazzetta notes that the relationship between Tether and Exor has never been particularly solid. At times, Ardoino’s social media activity aimed to look for a collaboration with Exor, but other times, the Tether CEO has criticised the club and the team.

The abrupt public bid is unlikely to strengthen relations between the two sides, particularly given that Exor had already indicated, before Tether’s proposal, that it had no intention of selling the club in response to rumours of a potential offer from a Saudi investor.
This past November, Juventus owner John Elkann said: “We remain fully committed to Juventus and are proud to be its controlling shareholder for over a century. We are and have always been open to constructive ideas from all stakeholders who share our ambition and passion for the club.”
Spirit Airlines has achieved an important milestone in its restructuring process as both its pilots and flight attendants have ratified new tentative agreements. The agreements, which are pending court approval, reflect a significant step forward in the airline’s efforts to strengthen its operations and secure its future.
The ratified agreements were reached in collaboration with Spirit’s labor unions, the Air Line Pilots Association (ALPA) for the pilots and the Association of Flight Attendants-CWA (AFA) for the flight attendants. This development marks a pivotal moment for Spirit Airlines as the company continues to move forward with its restructuring plan, designed to position the airline for future growth and ensure it remains a leading provider of affordable travel options in the United States and beyond.
Strengthening Spirit Airlines’ Commitment to Affordable Travel
Spirit Airlines, known for its low-cost, value-driven travel model, has been working diligently to reorganize its operations in light of the challenges faced by the airline industry in recent years. With these new agreements in place, Spirit is setting itself on a path toward more stability, which will benefit not only the airline’s employees but also its passengers. Spirit’s commitment to offering affordable, flexible travel options remains a core focus as the airline works through its restructuring.
By reaching these agreements, Spirit’s pilots and flight attendants are showing their support for the airline’s efforts to navigate the challenges of the aviation sector. These agreements provide a foundation for future collaboration between the airline and its workforce, ensuring that both parties remain aligned in their goal of delivering quality travel experiences for Spirit’s passengers.
A Collaborative Effort to Build a Stronger Future for Spirit Airlines
The collaboration between Spirit Airlines and its labor unions has been central to this achievement. The airline’s restructuring process has involved extensive dialogue between management and employees, aiming to ensure a smooth transition and position the airline for long-term success. The ratification of these agreements demonstrates a shared commitment to moving the company forward, creating a stronger foundation for Spirit Airlines’ operations and enhancing its position within the competitive low-cost carrier market.
While the agreements are subject to court approval, the ratification marks a significant step toward finalizing the airline’s restructuring plans. Spirit Airlines’ leadership continues to work with its employees and unions to ensure the company remains a strong competitor in the U.S. and international air travel market, known for its affordable fares and customer-first approach.
Spirit Airlines’ Restructuring: A Path to Strengthened Operations
In addition to the pilot and flight attendant agreements, Spirit Airlines’ restructuring process includes a variety of measures aimed at streamlining operations, improving customer service, and enhancing the overall travel experience. Spirit Airlines maintains a dedicated website where customers and stakeholders can track the progress of the airline’s restructuring process, providing transparency and updates as the company works toward its goal of building a stronger future.
As part of its restructuring, Spirit is focused on maintaining its reputation for affordable travel. The airline serves an extensive network of destinations across the United States, Latin America, and the Caribbean, offering travelers flexible and affordable options for getting to the destinations that matter most.
Spirit Airlines Moves Forward with Restructuring Plans
The ratification of new agreements by Spirit Airlines’ pilots and flight attendants is a positive development in the airline’s ongoing restructuring process. As Spirit moves forward with these agreements and continues its efforts to strengthen its operations, the airline remains committed to delivering the best value in the sky. The restructuring is an essential part of ensuring Spirit Airlines can maintain its low-cost model while providing customers with the flexibility and affordability they expect from the airline.
This step represents progress for Spirit Airlines, as it continues to navigate challenges and work toward a brighter, more stable future in the travel industry.

Let’s dive into what makes this event truly special and why it should be on your list this December.
What is The Longest Night of the Year?
The Longest Night of the Year is not just another typical celebration. It’s one of Athens’ most iconic urban festivals. The city becomes a giant stage for music, performances, street parties, and public gatherings. Held on 20 December, the festival coincides with the longest night of the year, when Athens transforms into an unforgettable playground for those who love to dance, sing, and enjoy the magic of the holidays.
This unique festival celebrates more than just the start of winter – it’s about bringing together locals and tourists in a free, joyous celebration across multiple venues in Athens. Music fills the air, DJ sets get people dancing, and live performances create an atmosphere of excitement and wonder. The streets and public spaces turn into a massive outdoor party, bringing Athens to life in a whole new way.
A Night Full of Music and Dance
One of the most exciting elements of the Longest Night of the Year is the music. The streets of Athens turn into a massive open-air concert, with live performances, street stages, and DJ sets happening all around the city. There are countless opportunities to enjoy live music, dance, and connect with others who share your love for celebration and fun.
In Protogenous Street, for example, the night kicks off with vibrant DJ sets that echo throughout the area, creating a lively atmosphere where people can dance and let loose. The music ranges from energetic beats to relaxed tunes, ensuring there’s something for everyone. Whether you’re a fan of electronic music, pop, or hip-hop, you’ll find it here. It’s the perfect setting to celebrate the longest night of the year in true style.
DJ Sets and Block Parties
Athens is known for its vibrant nightlife, and on this night, the city goes all out. Multiple neighbourhoods host block parties with DJs spinning tunes for people of all ages. Lambrini and ENTEKA Athens are two popular spots where the city’s party spirit truly shines. Expect a mix of energetic beats, pumping bass, and rhythmic soundscapes as crowds gather to enjoy the music, dance, and socialize.
This celebration goes far beyond just listening to music – it’s about feeling the energy of the crowd and being part of something larger than yourself. People come together to enjoy the music, have fun, and create lasting memories with friends and strangers alike. From funky beats to chart-topping hits, the night never stops and neither does the music.
Live Performances Across the City
While music and dancing take centre stage, Athens also offers live performances that give the festival an artistic and cultural flair. From classical music to jazz, the city provides a variety of entertainment for those who appreciate the beauty of live performances. For instance, the De Profundis Ensemble, a local classical group, performs a free concert at Kapnikarea Church, right on Ermou Street. The delicate sounds of their chamber music bring a touch of elegance to the evening’s festivities, providing a refreshing break from the dance parties.
Other performances include street parades and processions that feature Greek folk music and brass ensembles, creating a festive atmosphere that celebrates both the modern and traditional sides of Athens. These performances allow attendees to enjoy Athens’ rich cultural heritage while celebrating the magic of the season. No matter where you are in the city, there’s always something to enjoy.
A City-Wide Celebration

Public squares, streets, and pedestrian zones become the stages for all kinds of performances, activities, and festivities.
It’s not just about the music – it’s about immersing yourself in the celebration. From Syntagma Square to the bustling Monastiraki area, Athens becomes one giant block party, where you can wander freely between events, enjoy the festive decorations, and join in the fun.
The festival is open to all, and best of all, it’s completely free. This means everyone can take part in the celebrations, whether you’re a local or visiting the city for the first time. The accessibility of the event is part of what makes it so special – it’s an open invitation to enjoy the spirit of the holiday season together with people from all walks of life.
A Cultural and Artistic Experience
Although the Longest Night of the Year is known for its lively music and street parties, it’s also a celebration of Athens’ artistic and cultural spirit. The festival offers a perfect blend of modern entertainment and traditional Greek culture. Athens is a city that prides itself on its history, and this festival is a perfect opportunity to experience that history while enjoying the modern energy of the city.
For example, jazz performances bring a sophisticated touch to the street festival, with groups like Storyville Ragtimers performing in places like Voukourestiou Street. Meanwhile, theater troupes and street performances keep the crowds engaged with everything from Greek folk theatre to modern dance. These performances provide a different layer to the celebration, appealing to those who enjoy a more relaxed pace or those seeking cultural enrichment.
This fusion of music, performance, and art makes the Longest Night of the Year a comprehensive cultural experience for people of all ages. Whether you’re a fan of electronic dance music, a lover of classical music, or someone who enjoys watching street performers, there’s something for everyone.
A Family-Friendly Event

How France, Spain, and USA Are Tackling Travel’s Carbon Footprint Crisis: Can Air France and American Airlines Really Lead the Way to a Greener Future? As the world grapples with the escalating climate crisis, the tourism industry, which contributes nearly 9% of global greenhouse gas emissions, is increasingly under the microscope. With air travel accounting for a significant portion of these emissions, countries like France, Spain, and the USA are stepping up their efforts to reduce their environmental impact while still welcoming millions of tourists each year. Major airlines such as Air France and American Airlines are making strides to lead the way in sustainable travel, introducing initiatives aimed at reducing their carbon footprints and setting an example for the aviation industry. But how far can these companies and countries really go in the race toward greener travel, and what can tourists do to make their trips more eco-friendly? In this article, we explore the challenges and solutions, offering insights into how travelers can minimize their environmental impact while exploring some of the world’s most popular destinations.
How France, Spain, and USA Are Tackling Travel’s Carbon Footprint Crisis: Can Air France and American Airlines Really Lead the Way to a Greener Future?
As the world faces growing concerns about climate change, the tourism industry is under scrutiny for its environmental impact, particularly the carbon emissions linked to travel. Tourism accounts for nearly 9% of global greenhouse gas emissions, with much of that stemming from transportation, especially aviation. France, Spain, and the USA, three of the world’s top tourist destinations, are taking significant strides in reducing their carbon footprints. But can major airlines like Air France and American Airlines lead the way to a greener future for the tourism industry? In this article, we dive into how these countries and airlines are making sustainable travel a reality, and how tourists can make smarter, more eco-friendly choices.
France, Spain, and USA Lead the Charge on Sustainable Tourism
France, Spain, and the USA are not just global tourism leaders but also key players in the fight to reduce carbon emissions from travel. These countries are working hard to make travel more sustainable while still attracting millions of visitors each year.
France, known for its rich culture, history, and cuisine, is also one of the top countries for international tourists, with over 100 million visitors annually. With such high numbers, France’s carbon footprint from tourism is significant, but so is its commitment to sustainability. The French government and local authorities have introduced various initiatives aimed at reducing the environmental impact of tourism. The government encourages travelers to use more sustainable modes of transportation, such as high-speed trains, which are far less carbon-intensive than flying. The country’s commitment to sustainability is also reflected in its hospitality industry. Many hotels, particularly in Paris, have adopted eco-friendly practices, including energy-efficient lighting, water conservation measures, and waste reduction programs.
Spain, another major tourism hub, has seen a similar push toward sustainability. With its beautiful beaches, historic cities like Barcelona and Madrid, and world-renowned cuisine, Spain attracts millions of tourists each year. Spain’s tourism industry is rapidly embracing green tourism, with numerous hotels, resorts, and restaurants committing to sustainable practices. In addition, Spain has made significant strides in reducing the environmental impact of its domestic transportation systems. The introduction of more eco-friendly buses and trains, along with incentives for tourists to use public transportation, has made it easier for travelers to minimize their carbon footprints while exploring the country.
The USA, with its vast landscapes and iconic destinations like New York, California, and Florida, has also been focusing on making travel more sustainable. With over 75 million international tourists visiting the USA each year, the country is making significant efforts to reduce its tourism-related carbon emissions. Major cities like New York and Los Angeles are implementing initiatives to reduce pollution, while several airlines in the country are working toward sustainability. American Airlines, for example, has made strides in reducing its fuel consumption, implementing more fuel-efficient aircraft, and committing to net-zero carbon emissions by 2050.
Can Air France and American Airlines Lead the Way to a Greener Future?
Airlines play a pivotal role in the sustainability of the tourism industry, as air travel is responsible for a large share of tourism-related emissions. Both Air France and American Airlines are among the world’s largest carriers, and their sustainability efforts are critical to the success of the global push for greener tourism.
Air France has long been a leader in sustainability within the aviation industry. The airline has committed to reducing its carbon emissions by 30% per passenger by 2030, compared to 2019 levels. To achieve this goal, Air France is focusing on more fuel-efficient aircraft and investing heavily in sustainable aviation fuel (SAF). SAF is a biofuel made from renewable resources, which can reduce carbon emissions by up to 80% compared to conventional jet fuel. Air France is also working closely with the French government to promote green aviation, which includes pushing for stricter emissions regulations and increased use of SAF. As a part of their commitment to sustainability, Air France has also been updating its fleet with the latest, most fuel-efficient aircraft, such as the Airbus A350, which uses 25% less fuel than older models.
American Airlines, a major player in the U.S. aviation market, has set ambitious sustainability targets as well. The airline has committed to achieving net-zero carbon emissions by 2050, with an interim goal of reducing its emissions by 45% per mile flown by 2035. American Airlines is investing in modernizing its fleet, focusing on more efficient planes like the Boeing 787 Dreamliner, which uses 20% less fuel than older aircraft. In addition, American Airlines has partnered with several organizations to promote sustainable aviation fuel and is increasing its use of SAF on select flights. The airline is also working to improve the energy efficiency of its ground operations and reduce emissions from airport vehicles. Through these efforts, American Airlines is positioning itself as a leader in the transition to more sustainable air travel.
While both airlines are making strides in the right direction, the path to a completely carbon-neutral aviation industry is still long and challenging. The technology required to fully decarbonize air travel, such as electric or hydrogen-powered planes, is still in its infancy, and widespread adoption of SAF will require significant investment and infrastructure. However, the efforts made by Air France and American Airlines represent an important first step in reducing the environmental impact of the aviation industry and setting an example for other carriers to follow.
Sustainable Hotels and Eco-Friendly Stays: A Growing Trend in France, Spain, and the USA
The hospitality industry is also embracing sustainability, with many hotels and resorts in France, Spain, and the USA adopting green practices to reduce their environmental impact. In France, eco-friendly hotels have become increasingly popular, particularly in cities like Paris, where tourists are looking for sustainable options that align with their values. Hotels like the Hôtel de Crillon and Le Meurice have received recognition for their efforts to reduce waste, improve energy efficiency, and source locally produced, organic food. Paris also has an extensive network of green-certified hotels, such as those accredited by the Green Key program, which ensures hotels meet stringent environmental standards.
In Spain, sustainability has become a major selling point for many hotels, particularly in the Canary Islands and Costa Brava. Hotels like the Iberostar Playa de Palma and the Meliá Palma have made significant efforts to reduce their carbon footprints by installing energy-efficient lighting, reducing plastic waste, and utilizing renewable energy sources. In addition, many hotels in Spain have partnered with local environmental organizations to promote sustainable tourism and encourage guests to engage in eco-friendly activities like hiking, cycling, and visiting nature reserves.
In the USA, sustainable hotels and resorts are also gaining popularity, especially in cities like San Francisco, New York, and Seattle, which have strong environmental awareness among locals and tourists alike. Hotels such as the Greenest Hotel in San Francisco and the Eco-Hotel in New York City are leading the way in reducing energy consumption, managing waste responsibly, and promoting sustainable tourism. These hotels offer guests the option to participate in green initiatives, such as using less water during their stay, opting out of daily towel changes, and recycling.
Travel Tips for Eco-Conscious Tourists: How to Reduce Your Carbon Footprint
As a tourist, you play a vital role in helping reduce the carbon footprint of your travels. Here are some tips to make your trip more sustainable while still enjoying all the incredible experiences that countries like France, Spain, and the USA have to offer.
Choose Eco-Friendly Accommodation: Look for hotels that have received sustainability certifications, such as Green Key or EarthCheck. These hotels typically adhere to strict environmental standards, including reducing energy and water consumption, minimizing waste, and using renewable energy sources.
Travel by Train Instead of Plane: Whenever possible, opt for trains over planes for short distances. High-speed trains in countries like France and Spain are an efficient and sustainable way to travel, with far fewer carbon emissions than flying.
Fly Direct: If you must fly, choose direct flights whenever possible. Takeoffs and landings are the most carbon-intensive parts of flying, so avoiding layovers can significantly reduce your emissions.
Use Public Transportation: Many cities in France, Spain, and the USA offer excellent public transportation options. Use buses, trams, and subways instead of taxis or rental cars to minimize your environmental impact.
Support Local and Sustainable Tourism: Choose to visit eco-friendly attractions and support local businesses that prioritize sustainability. Engage in activities that have a minimal environmental footprint, such as hiking, cycling, or visiting nature reserves.
Offset Your Carbon Emissions: Some airlines, including Air France and American Airlines, offer carbon offset programs that allow you to compensate for the emissions from your flight. While the effectiveness of these programs can be debated, they are one step toward taking responsibility for your travel emissions.
The Future of Sustainable Travel: Looking Ahead
As climate change continues to be a pressing global issue, the tourism industry will need to innovate and adapt to meet the challenges of reducing carbon emissions. Airlines like Air France and American Airlines, as well as countries like France, Spain, and the USA, are leading the way by implementing sustainable practices, but more needs to be done. The transition to sustainable travel will require ongoing investments in technology, infrastructure, and education to ensure that future generations can continue to enjoy the world’s most iconic destinations without compromising the planet.
For tourists, the responsibility to make eco-conscious decisions remains paramount. By choosing sustainable accommodations, opting for public transportation, and supporting eco-friendly tourism initiatives, travelers can contribute to the movement towards greener, more sustainable travel. The future of tourism depends on the collective efforts of both the industry and the consumers, and by making smarter choices, we can all play a part in preserving the beauty of the world for generations to come.

"It's obviously cold this time of year," Bears tight end Colston Loveland said. "Everyone knew that coming in that Chicago gets cold, the Midwest is cold."
Chicago weather Saturday and Sunday calls for a snow forecast and a wind chill warning for gusts as low as -30. The NWS issued a Cold Weather Advisory.
Players in the locker room are mentally gearing up and hyping themselves up for this endurance event of the elements.
"Weather and elements don't bother me," Bears quarterback Caleb Williams said. "So just being able to get warm, get my body warm and get out there and deliver good balls to my guys and let them make plays."
Ahead of this weekend's arctic weather, the team wants fans to be prepared heading into Soldier Field, by: -Knowing where to find stadium warming centers, -Staying hydrated to fight off-cold weather dehydration, -Fans can wear battery-powered heated clothing, but it could be subject to more security screening. -Fans cannot bring in cardboard to sit or stand on.
Dr. Nicholas Cozzi, EMS Medical Director at Rush University Medical Center, joined ABC7 Chicago to talk about the dangerous cold this weekend.
And with many fans planning to tailgate hours before the game, the Bears want to remind fans open flames are prohibited in all lots which means no:
-Firepits in any parking lot -No tents or canopies -And no grills or heaters using liquefied fuels inside parking garages
"Wear clothing that's probably going to wick your sweat or any kind of wet directly on your body - almost like an Under Armour or something very similar to that," Dr. Stathis Poulakidas of Cook County Health said. "Obviously a heavy coat on top of that."
Dr. Poulakidas has this advice for some of the bravest Bears fans, braving Sunday's bitter weather.
"Alcohol makes it feel like you're quote unquote warm, but realistically what it does is it can blunt your senses and from that perspective allows you to make poor decisions," Dr. Poulakidas said.
The Chicago Bears also said that hand warmers will also be on sale inside the stadium along with coffee, hot chocolate and cider.
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has fired a clear warning to any of his players thinking about the World Cup next summer over the good of their club.
Speaking at his press conference on Friday, Arteta was asked by reporters about the situation of players like Ethan Nwaneri and Gabriel Jesus, who aren’t necessarily getting as many minutes as they might want.
Nwaneri might have an outside chance of making it into the England squad for next summer’s tournament, but he’s currently struggling to get much first-team action with Arsenal, starting only three games so far this season, with none of those coming in the Premier League.
See the video below, however, as Arteta brushed off questions about Nwaneri and Jesus by insisting it would be a “really bad approach” for any of his players to be looking ahead to the World Cup now…

Mikel Arteta’s World Cup warning to Arsenal players
When asked at first about Nwaneri’s role in the team, Arteta defended his record of giving the 18-year-old a lot of chances at such an early stage in his career.
He said: “Probably looking at where he is, 18 years old, 50 appearances for the club.
“I want to see how many examples there are in English football with that number at that age.”

When asked about players like Nwaneri and Jesus and the World Cup, Arteta made it very clear it would be a big problem for him if anyone in his squad put that competition ahead of the rest of the season for Arsenal now.
Tether, minority shareholders of Juventus, have announced that they have submitted an offer to purchase Exor’s majority stake in the club and that they intend to purchase the remaining shares to assume full ownership.
Tether announce plans to purchase Juventus in full
Tether increased their stake in the club in April, and it was reported at the time that they currently possess 10.12% of the club’s shares and 6.18% of the club’s voting rights.
Tether has announced on Friday evening that they have tabled a ‘binding all-cash proposal’ to purchase Exor’s shares in the club. Exor is the holding company owned and controlled by the Agnelli family, who have owned Juventus since 1923.
Currently, Exor holds 65.4% of the shares in Juventus. According to reports from Calcio e Finanza, Tether has offered a price of €2.66 per share, which equates to a total of around €1.1 billion.
Tether has announced that it intends to make a public offer for the remaining shares at the same price.

“Tether has submitted a binding all cash proposal to Exor to acquire its entire stake in Juventus Football Club,” a statement on Friday evening read.
“Subject to regulatory approvals, Tether intends to make a public offer for the remaining shares at the same price, fully funded with its own capital and supported by a long term commitment to the club.
“This proposal reflects a belief in Juventus as more than a football club. For generations, Juventus has stood for discipline, ambition, and the quiet strength of those who rebuild and move forward, season after season. It is a club that has shaped Italian sporting identity and earned the loyalty of supporters around the world.”
“For me, Juventus has always been part of my life,” said Paolo Ardoino, CEO of Tether. “I grew up with this team. As a boy, I learned what commitment, resilience, and responsibility meant by watching Juve face success and adversity with dignity. Those lessons stayed with me long after the final whistle.
“Our interest in Juventus comes from deep admiration and respect. Juventus is a symbol of Italian excellence with a truly global presence, built over generations through hard work, ambition, and the unwavering loyalty of its supporters. These values mirror how we have built Tether, with patience, independence, and a focus on long term resilience.
“Tether is in a position of strong financial health and intends to support Juventus with stable capital and a long horizon. Our goal is to contribute positively to the club’s future, to support sporting performance at the highest level.
“This proposal is made with humility and a deep sense of responsibility toward the club, its supporters, and its legacy. We believe Juventus’ story is still being written, and that its next chapters can be defined by strength, continuity, and ambition.”
Tether’s statement continued: “The proposal contemplates the acquisition of Exor’s shareholding, representing 65.4 percent of Juventus’ issued share capital. Completion of the transaction would be subject to Exor’s acceptance, the execution of definitive documentation, and receipt of required regulatory approvals. Following completion, Tether intends to proceed with a public tender offer for the remaining shares at the same price per share.
“In the event that the transaction completes, Tether is prepared to invest 1 billion Euros in the support and development of the Club.
“Tether operates with a long term investment philosophy supported by a strong balance sheet and a focus on building resilient, globally relevant institutions. Further updates will be provided in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.”
However, Arsenal view him as an important player, and they are unwilling to sanction his departure. The former Manchester City striker is versatile enough to operate in multiple attacking roles, and Mikel Arteta believes that he could be an important player for Arsenal during the second half of the campaign.
Arsenal are pushing for the league title, and they will look to do well in the UEFA Champions League as well. They need more quality and cutting-edge in the final third.
Jesus could prove to be very useful for them. Arsenal signed Viktor Gyokeres during the summer transfer window, but the Swedish International has not been at his best this season. It is clear that he needs more support in the attack. Holding onto the Brazilian attacker, at least until the end of the season, would be a wise decision.

Meanwhile, Jesus will look to play regularly in the coming months as well. It remains to be seen whether he can convince the manager to hand him a prominent role in the team. He has the quality and the experience to make a big difference for Arsenal in the final third over the next few months.
If he struggles to hold down a regular starting spot, he could then move on at the end of the season. However, selling him in January could prove to be a mistake, and Arsenal are certainly not keen on that.

Vienna, the heart of Austria, is renowned for its rich coffee culture and culinary heritage. This city is not only known for its imperial history and stunning architecture but also for its remarkable gastronomy, particularly in its coffee houses. Recently, Julius Meinl, one of the oldest and most respected coffee roasters in the world, collaborated with the talented culinary duo KUBUS to introduce a revolutionary brunch experience that blends Austrian cuisine, coffee, and tea in a way never seen before. This new Brunch Club offers an intimate setting where guests experience contemporary Austrian cuisine reinterpreted through the rituals of coffee and tea, elevating the brunch culture to new heights.
The event, held in Vienna, attracted eight guests for a morning of culinary exploration. The collaboration between Julius Meinl and KUBUS allowed attendees to indulge in a curated multi-course menu that was crafted with precision and passion. The event emphasized that coffee and tea are not just beverages; they are integral parts of the dining experience, capable of enhancing flavors and creating connections.
Vienna’s Brunch Revolution
Vienna has long been a city steeped in culinary tradition, and the new Brunch Club experience is a perfect example of how the city is blending its classic food culture with modern trends. The experience focused on creating a sense of connection, where guests didn’t just enjoy food and beverages but engaged in the rituals of time that define Austrian coffee culture.
Innovative Austrian Cuisine: The menu included Buchteln, fluffy sweet buns filled with jam, complemented by a vanilla sauce infused with Julius Meinl Organic Rooibos Wintery Days loose-leaf tea. This dish was a perfect blend of comfort and modernity, offering a warm and familiar taste with a unique twist.
Flambéed Pancakes: A stunning dish made even more memorable with Julius Meinl Premium Espresso coffee-infused caramel sauce, bringing an unexpected depth of flavor to the classic pancake.
Tafelspitz Poached in Tea: The iconic Austrian dish Tafelspitz was poached in Julius Meinl Organic Treasure of Asia loose-leaf tea, a creative take on this beloved meal that combined traditional flavors with a fragrant tea infusion.
Black Tea-Cured Eggs: Eggs cured with Julius Meinl Organic Assam Gold Tea provided a savory dish that showcased how tea could be used creatively in modern gastronomy.
Baked Pumpkin: The baked pumpkin glazed with Julius Meinl Premium Crema coffee grounds was a delightful vegetarian dish, offering both sweet and savory notes, enhanced by the coffee’s rich flavor.
Coffee Knödel: A truly innovative dish combining the traditional Austrian Knödel (dumplings) with Julius Meinl Premium Crema jus and sauerkraut, offering a bold yet familiar taste.
Each dish was carefully paired with a variety of Julius Meinl coffees and teas, prepared in different methods, such as espresso, AeroPress, Bialetti, and Chemex, allowing guests to experience the diverse ways in which coffee can complement food.
Vienna’s Brunch Scene Gets a High-End Twist
The rise of supper clubs and brunch clubs has become a significant trend in the culinary world, especially since the pandemic. These events have given rise to a new form of intimate dining where people come together not just for the food but for the experience and connection it fosters. The Julius Meinl and KUBUS Brunch Club is no exception, offering a highly curated, one-off experience that cannot be replicated at a traditional café or restaurant.
Curated Experiences: Guests enjoyed the personal touch of a curated experience where every course was meticulously planned to create a harmonious relationship between the food, coffee, and tea.
Exclusive Setting: Held in an intimate setting, the brunch allowed for meaningful interaction and a more personal connection between the hosts, guests, and the chefs.
Connecting through Coffee and Tea: At the heart of this experience is the belief that coffee and tea are more than just beverages—they are tools for connection. Whether served in a Bialetti, AeroPress, or espresso machine, the Julius Meinl coffee brought an added dimension to each course, creating an engaging conversation starter.
The Brunch Club model is gaining popularity in Vienna as people seek new ways to enjoy high-end gastronomy in an intimate and personal atmosphere. It also allows local culinary artists to showcase their creativity in an untraditional setting, offering food lovers an opportunity to experience something fresh and exciting beyond the typical restaurant.
Austrian Gastronomy and Coffee Culture Meet in Vienna
Vienna’s coffee house culture has long been an integral part of the city’s identity. This collaboration between Julius Meinl and KUBUS highlights the city’s ability to push boundaries in gastronomy while remaining rooted in its traditions. The event also aligns with Julius Meinl’s mission to celebrate and preserve Vienna’s coffee house culture while adapting it to contemporary tastes and experiences.
Vienna’s coffee culture is deeply ingrained in the city’s daily rhythm. For centuries, coffee houses in Vienna have been places of gathering, conversation, and intellectual exchange. By incorporating coffee and tea into a culinary experience, Julius Meinl and KUBUS are continuing this tradition, but with a modern twist. Guests didn’t just experience food; they experienced the very essence of Vienna’s famed coffee house culture reimagined through the lens of contemporary gastronomy.
Vienna’s Culinary and Coffee Innovations at the Forefront
The Brunch Club is a clear example of how Vienna remains at the forefront of culinary innovation while staying true to its rich gastronomic heritage. It’s not just about serving food; it’s about crafting a memorable experience that combines the city’s history with its evolving culinary scene. Guests who attended this exclusive brunch walked away not just with full stomachs, but with a new appreciation for the role of coffee and tea in the culinary world.
The collaboration between Julius Meinl and KUBUS is one of many examples of how Vienna is positioning itself as a global leader in the culinary world. The city continues to innovate in its approach to food and drink, creating unique experiences that attract both locals and tourists alike. This Brunch Club event perfectly captures the spirit of Vienna: a city that honors its history while embracing modernity with open arms.

Tuttosport newspaper reports that Davide Frattesi’s agent has held preliminary talks with Juventus as the Inter midfielder seeks more playing time.
Juventus have reportedly resumed talks with Beppe Riso, the agent of Inter midfielder Frattesi.
The Italy international has been struggling with playing time this season, falling down Cristian Chivu’s pecking order.

According to Tuttosport, the midfielder’s representative recently held talks with the Old Lady, who had already set her sights on the 26-year-old in previous years.
The Turin-based paper reports that Frattesi’s agent met Juventus representatives at the club’s headquarters.

Even if those directly involved described the meeting as a courtesy visit, it’s highly possible that the two parties made an initial approach ahead of the January transfer window.
Frattesi has only collected 480 minutes of football across all competitions this season, providing two assists in Coppa Italia against Serie B side Venezia.

However, his contract expires in June 2028 and Inter will be reluctant to sell the midfielder to a direct rival, so their asking price won’t be below €35m.
Frattesi is open to leaving Inter next month and is on good terms with Luciano Spalletti. The Inter midfielder was the best Italy scorer during the Tuscan coach’s tenure, finding the net seven times.

The Cleveland Cavaliers will not have Jarrett Allen and Sam Merrill for Friday’s road matchup against the Washington Wizards, extending their absences and leaving the wine and gold without those two key players for the fifth straight game. Despite the team ruling them out, however, both have made progress this week.
After Thursday’s practice, Merrill was wearing a wrap partially on his right hand while going through a workout.
“Really good news,” Cavs head coach Kenny Atkinson said, glancing over at Merrill dribbling against two of his assistant coaches. “[He’s] actually shooting with his shooting hand, which is a pleasant sight to see.”
Before that, Merrill hadn’t been able to do anything with his right hand, which has been swollen and sprained since a reach-in attempt on Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo in mid-November. There is nothing structurally wrong with it, but Cleveland’s swingman hadn’t been able to catch or shoot. At least now he’s showing the ability to do one of those things.
Allen only participated in half of the Cavs’ latest practice and didn’t take full-on contact. Unfortunately, that is a downgrade from Tuesday afternoon’s session where he did everything. Allen has been dealing with two separate finger injuries on each hand, with his left ring finger fractured and his right third finger strained.
In addition to Merrill and Allen, Cleveland veteran forward Larry Nance Jr. was getting shots up after practice at the near court with a wrap on his right calf.
Atkinson also spoke about Max Strus’ return status, which hasn’t changed from the three-to-four months the organization initially estimated as the recovery time post-surgery.
“Just kind of no update in terms of, ‘Hey, it’s gonna be faster or slower,'” Atkinson said. “Same timeline. I think he’s in a good way in terms of his recovery.”
Strus is making his way back from a Jones fracture in his left foot, while Merrill and Allen are inching closer to coming back to the floor.
OnePlus has started rolling out the OxygenOS 16.0.2.401 update for the OnePlus 15 in India and Europe. The update is being released in batches, with wider availability expected in the next few days. The build numbers are CPH2745_16.0.2.401(EX01) for India and CPH2747_16.0.2.401(EX01) for Europe.
The update brings improvements across AI features, the camera, system performance, and charging. The AI summary and subtitle feature now ends automatically when there is no sound input for a certain period. This aims to make speech-related tools more accurate and easier to use.
The update also adds more control over app icons. After resizing an app icon and adding commonly used shortcut icons, users can now drag and drop these shortcut icons to rearrange them. App clone icons can also be dragged to resize and customized with shortcuts.
In the Camera app, a new Neon filter is now available. It is designed to recreate the CineStill 800T film effect and improve atmospheric night portrait shots. In the Photos app, new filter options have been added, including Motion Photo, Screenshots and screen recordings, and Edited items. The Photos app also loads thumbnails faster due to an improved parsing method.
Bypass charging is now supported. When the phone is used for gaming, live streaming, video playback, navigation, or other high-load activities, users can connect the charger for power without stressing the battery. This reduces heat and helps protect long-term battery health.
The update fixes an issue where a car display could disconnect when the phone switches data networks. It also integrates the December 2025 Android security patch to improve system security. Since this OTA is incremental, only a small percentage of users will receive it today. A broader rollout will follow. Update content may vary by region.

Samsung has one of its key phone manufacturing bases in Vietnam, which was hit hard due to slowing US imports. Even though America exempted smartphone imports from tariffs, Vietnam faced a steep decline in exports.
Reuters reports that the US phone imports from Vietnam “fell to their lowest levels in more than five years” in November 2025, hitting Samsung hard. While the phone maker didn’t reveal export data, the country’s official data says so.
Vietnamese exporters with Samsung’s backing have also faced trade uncertainties and slowing consumer demand. The country faced ups and downs throughout the year, but November ended up being the worst in five years.
Back in January, exports peaked to fill up stocks before tariffs came into effect. After a brief fear, the Trump administration freed up smartphone and select electronics’ imports from tariffs.
However, the smartphone market witnessed a steep decline from August. It was the month the US and Vietnam signed a trade pact, and the latter facing 20% reciprocal tariffs imposed.
Despite the reciprocal tariffs, the US kept phones and electronics exempted. However, trade uncertainties have led the Vietnamese phone exports to the US to fall to less than $410 million in November.
Samsung doesn’t officially share country-wise export data. Having Vietnam as its biggest production base, official export data suggests Samsung’s Vietnam engine has been hit hard in the past couple of months.
A Vietnam-based executive familiar with Samsung’s operations said (via Reuters) the company was adjusting its production and export volumes in the country in reaction to weakening consumer sentiment.

AAA Projects 122 Million Americans to Travel in 2025—Airlines and Hotels Prepare for Record-Breaking Holiday Chaos!
The 2025 holiday season is set to break all travel records, with AAA projecting a record 122 million Americans will take to the roads, skies, and seas for their holiday travels. This surge in holiday travel marks a 2.2% increase over last year’s figures, making it the highest total since AAA began tracking travel patterns. With airlines and hotels gearing up for a busy season, travelers can expect a mix of challenges and opportunities when it comes to securing flights, accommodations, and getting the most out of their holiday vacations.
Airlines Brace for Record-Breaking Holiday Rush
Airlines across the United States are preparing for an unprecedented demand for flights. Delta, American Airlines, and other major carriers are gearing up to handle the huge influx of travelers expected over the 13-day year-end holiday period, which runs from December 20, 2025, to January 1, 2026. The air travel sector, which has seen robust recovery since the pandemic, is about to face one of its busiest times ever. According to AAA, 8.03 million Americans are expected to fly this year, with the majority opting for domestic flights.
Airlines are preparing by increasing their flight capacity, offering more direct routes, and adding extra flights to key destinations. For travelers looking to fly during the holiday season, booking early will be crucial to avoid the rush. With demand soaring, travelers can expect higher airfares, especially during peak travel days such as the weekend before Christmas and the days immediately after New Year’s Day.
Hotel Industry Gears Up for Unprecedented Occupancy Rates
Hotels across the country are also preparing for a packed holiday season. AAA projects that about 109.5 million Americans will travel by car, leading to full occupancy rates at top tourist destinations and near major airports. The popularity of family road trips, theme parks, and sunny getaways will keep hotels in high demand throughout the holiday period. Major hotel chains like Hilton, Marriott, and Hyatt have already increased staffing levels and bolstered their booking systems to accommodate the influx of travelers.
In high-demand cities like Orlando, Los Angeles, and New York, hotel prices will reflect the surge in tourism. While travelers can still find great deals if they book early, last-minute reservations are likely to result in higher prices and limited availability. For those visiting major metropolitan areas, it’s advisable to check hotel reviews and confirm availability well in advance.
Navigating Flight Prices During the Holiday Season
Traveling during the holiday season can be both exhilarating and stressful, especially when dealing with soaring airfares and crowded airports. Delta, American Airlines, and other major U.S. airlines typically increase their ticket prices around the holidays, so booking as early as possible can help you save. According to recent travel reports, the average cost of a domestic round-trip flight for the 2025 holiday season is $890, a 7% increase from last year.
If you’re flying internationally, be prepared for higher ticket prices due to the increased demand for flights to destinations like Europe, Asia, and Latin America. On average, international round-trip flights will cost around $1,400, but savvy travelers can often find discounts by booking in advance or being flexible with travel dates. Flights with longer layovers or those during off-peak hours are often cheaper and can help you save money.
For those looking to avoid the crowded airports, flying mid-week is a great option. Airlines tend to see lighter traffic on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, which can result in lower fares and less time spent waiting in security lines. Additionally, booking early morning flights will help you avoid the later rush and increase your chances of avoiding delays.
The Growing Popularity of Cruises
The increasing demand for cruises has become a significant trend in the tourism sector, especially during the holidays. With over 4.9 million travelers expected to choose alternative modes of transport, including cruises, the industry is seeing a 9% increase in bookings compared to 2024. Cruises are especially popular because they offer family-friendly vacations that cater to a wide variety of interests, from relaxing on beaches to exploring new cultures and destinations.
Cruise lines such as Carnival, Royal Caribbean, and Norwegian Cruise Line are already seeing a surge in bookings for the 2025 holiday season. For families looking for a multi-generational holiday, cruises provide an all-inclusive experience with amenities and entertainment options for all ages. Whether you’re planning a Caribbean cruise or a Mediterranean adventure, it’s important to book early as availability fills up fast, especially for popular routes during peak holiday times.
The Impact of Record Holiday Travel on Tourism
The anticipated travel boom this year will have a significant impact on the global tourism industry. International tourist destinations are bracing for the wave of travelers, with countries like France, Spain, and Italy seeing an uptick in visitors from the United States. These European hotspots are particularly popular during the holiday season, with visitors flocking to Paris, Barcelona, and Rome to enjoy festive markets, historic sites, and New Year’s celebrations.
As the global tourism sector recovers post-pandemic, many countries are eager to welcome travelers back. For those heading abroad, it’s essential to stay informed about travel restrictions, passport requirements, and health protocols. For example, countries like France still have specific entry requirements related to COVID-19, which can vary depending on the traveler’s vaccination status and country of departure.
The increased international travel also has an economic impact, generating significant revenue for local economies through hotel bookings, excursions, and dining. In countries like France, tourism is a major contributor to the economy, accounting for a significant portion of GDP. With tourism steadily rebounding, travelers can expect vibrant experiences at museums, galleries, and local events throughout the holiday season.
Essential Travel Tips for a Smooth Holiday Journey
As the holiday travel season nears, preparing for the rush can help alleviate stress and ensure a smoother journey. Here are some essential tips to keep in mind as you prepare for the 2025 holiday season:
1. Book Early: With record numbers of travelers expected, booking your flight and hotel accommodations early is key to securing the best rates and availability. Many airlines and hotels offer early-bird discounts that can help you save.
2. Check Your Documents: Ensure that your passport, visa, and any other necessary travel documents are up to date. If you’re traveling internationally, verify whether you need a COVID-19 test or vaccination certificate for entry.
3. Pack Smart: As the holiday season brings unpredictable weather, pack accordingly for your destination. Be prepared for winter weather in the U.S. by bringing snow boots, gloves, and layers, while tropical destinations may require swimwear, sunscreen, and light clothing.
4. Stay Informed: Check for any flight delays or weather disruptions by using travel apps and checking flight status updates from airlines like Delta and American Airlines. You can also sign up for real-time alerts from your airline to stay informed about any changes to your flight schedule.
5. Plan for Extra Time: Airports will be packed, and traffic will be heavy, so give yourself plenty of time to get to your airport or travel destination. Arrive 2 hours early for domestic flights and 3 hours early for international flights to ensure you have enough time for security checks and unexpected delays.
How to Navigate Holiday Traffic on the Roads
With 109.5 million Americans expected to travel by car, road trips will be a popular mode of transportation this holiday season. While driving offers flexibility and convenience, it also comes with the challenge of navigating busy highways, especially during peak days like December 20, 21, and 26.
To avoid congestion, consider leaving as early as possible on Christmas Eve or New Year’s Eve, which tend to be the least busy travel days. Also, use apps like Waze or Google Maps to check for real-time traffic updates and identify alternate routes if necessary. If you’re traveling through mountainous or snowy areas, make sure your vehicle is equipped for winter conditions, including snow tires or tire chains.
For those looking to reduce the risk of accidents, designate a sober driver if you plan on drinking, and never drive when you’re fatigued. Remember that December is National Impaired Driving Prevention Month, making it even more crucial to prioritize safety on the roads.
Preparing for a Record-Breaking Holiday Season
The 2025 holiday season promises to be a memorable one, with 122 million Americans hitting the road, boarding flights, and setting sail for vacations. As airlines and hotels prepare for record-breaking numbers, travelers must plan ahead to secure the best prices and availability. Juventus legend Alessandro Del Piero believes Bianconeri players feel the ‘weight of the past’ and that playing for the Serie A giants is ‘not for everyone.’
Del Piero examined Juventus’ 2-0 win over Pafos last night. Weston McKennie and Jonathan David provided the goals for the Bianconeri in the second half, but the Cypriots had many chances to take the lead in the first half.
Former Juventus coach Capello even argued that the Bianconeri had “luck on their side” as they claimed their second victory in the competition this season.

“The weight of the past, in terms of the club’s successes, is there, but there’s also the weight of the recent past, because this team was born from what happened last season, with some big changes in key players,” Del Piero told Sky Sport Italia.
“Players with personality were replaced by young players, and the Juventus environment is not for everyone. It’s more complex.
“We’ve seen players from other clubs being freer in their heads. Difficulties are objective and daily,” Del Piero continued.
“They won today, but they must go to Bologna on Sunday and concede two goals, who knows? You are always on the brink.
Spalletti must ‘create certainties’ at Juventus
TURIN, ITALY – NOVEMBER 04: Luciano Spalletti, Head Coach of Juventus looks on prior to the UEFA Champions League 2025/26 League Phase MD4 match between Juventus and Sporting Clube de Portugal at Juventus Stadium on November 04, 2025 in Turin, Italy. (Photo by Stefano Guidi/Getty Images)
“My question for Spalletti was about this. There’s an emergency in defence because he wants a right-footed defender to play as a right centre-back. He’s been changing a lot, and he’s had no certainties tactically or even in terms of players’ characteristics, except for Yildiz. Where do you create certainties? How do you create them? It all becomes more difficult in the heads of everyone, especially those who don’t play regularly.”
Juventus legend Claudio Marchisio is full of praise for his ex-Juventus teammate Cristiano Ronaldo, saying young players should look to him, rather than Leo Messi, as the example to follow to reach the top.
Cristiano Ronaldo joined Juventus in the summer of 2018 and would spend three years at the Allianz Stadium.
Marchisio, a Juventus legend and former Italy international, played with the Portuguese superstar for a few weeks before he terminated his contract with the Old Ladu by mutual agreement at the end of the 2018 summer transfer window.

When Gazzetta asked about Ronaldo’s arrival in Turin seven years ago, Marchisio replied: “What shall I say? There was a lot of agitation. Juventus are accustomed to big champions, but I still remember the day he was expected to step into the dressing room for the first time.
“I remember Barzagli and me waiting. We had previously welcomed big champions such as Carlos Tevez, but with him it was different, we were like: ‘Is he really coming?’ A superstar.
“If there’s something I can tell young players, it is to follow his example,” continued the ex-midfielder.

“If you want to try to become a top player, follow his example, not Messi. Ronaldo was already a top player, but he had to build and work even more to become what he was. The other is blessed by the Lord; he has so much quality that he might not even need to train.”
Marchisio, a product of the Juventus Academy, spent almost his entire career with the Bianconeri, scoring 37 goals in 389 games.
The former Italian midfielder won seven Serie A titles, three Supercoppa Italiana and four Coppa Italia during his time at the club.
Marchisio also won the Russian League with Zenit St. Petersburg in 2018-19.
Safe to say that Luciano Spalletti was delighted with Jonathan David’s performance in Juventus’ 2-0 win over Pafos as the Juventus coach hugged and kissed the Canadian after replacing him in the second half.

David finalised a counter-attack at minute 73 and was replaced a few seconds later, but this time Spalletti showed all his gratitude towards the Canadian.
Spalletti, in fact, hugged and kissed David as soon as the striker left the pitch, making room for Vasilije Adzic.
Just a few weeks ago, Spalletti had pushed David and Lois Openda to show a different attitude on the pitch, and the Canadian’s response seems to have struck with the Italian tactician.

The Champions League Round 6 is in the history books, and we take a look at how many points Atalanta, Inter, Juventus and Napoli need to qualify for the next phase.
Juventus and Atalanta beat Pafos and Chelsea, respectively, in the latest round of the league phase of the Champions League, while Inter lost at home against Liverpool and Napoli were beaten by Benfica.
Currently, the best-ranked Serie A club in the Champions League table is Atalanta with 13 points, one more than Inter.
Champions League: Atalanta, Inter, Juventus and Napoli overview
Oddly, La Dea are the lowest-ranked in Serie A among the clubs competing in this season’s Champions League, as they sit 5th in the European competition and 12th domestically.
As reported by Gazzetta, Atalanta are already qualified for the knockout playoff, but with 13 points in six games, they have the destiny in their hands. With two wins in the remaining matches against Athletic Club (home) and Union Saint-Gilloise (away), Atalanta will surely qualify for the Round of 16, finishing in the top eight.

Inter, on the other hand, have 12 points, they sit sixth, but still need one point to have the certainty to qualify for the knockout playoff. Their next two games are against Arsenal (at home) and Borussia Dortmund (away), and the Nerazzurri would need to win both, possibly increasing their goal difference, to qualify for the Round of 16.
Juventus have won two consecutive matches against Bodo/Glimt and Pafos. They need one more against Benfica (at home) or Monaco (away) in January 2026 to be mathematically certain to be in the knockout playoff. Juventus currently sit 17th, and even if the top eight is just three points away, the Bianconeri would need two wins in the remaining matches and negative results from most of the teams above them in the table, so their destiny is not entirely in their hands.

Lastly, Napoli, the Serie A table leaders, but the lowest-ranked Italian team in the Champions League. The Partenopei have lost three European games from three away, conceding ten goals. They are currently ranked 23rd, and their next opponents are Copenhagen away and Chelsea at home. Copenhagen also have seven points, so a win would boost the Partenopei’s hopes to qualify for the knockout playoff, but won’t necessarily grant them a spot in the next phase with a game to spare, given that 11 points were necessary to qualify for the knockout playoff in 2024-25.
Former coach Fabio Capello is very critical of Juventus’ first-half performance despite a 2-0 win over Pafos: ‘They had luck on their side.’
Juventus secured their second win in the 2025-26 Champions League on Wednesday, beating Cypriot side Pafos 2-0 in Turin.
Weston McKennie and Jonathan David provided the goals for the Bianconeri in the second half, but the Serie A giants were lucky not to concede in the opening 45 minutes.

“Juve won and that’s fine, but it’s definitely not the Juve we all know. They were flat,” Capello told Sky Sport Italia via Corriere dello Sport.
“The opponents created much more in the first half, and the Bianconeri had luck on their side. They had four huge chances. Then, in the second half and after some substitutions, Juventus managed to win but I repeat, I really didn’t like them in the first half.”

Juventus sit 17th in the Champions League table with nine points in six matches and will meet Benfica and Monaco in the last two games of the league phase.
Both matches will be played in January 2026.
They’ll first host Benfica on the 21st and then visit Monaco on the 28th.

Mindfulness is another highlighting feature that unlocks mood tracking and breathing exercises, helping the users of the Galaxy Watch 5 or Watch 5 Pro with focus and stress reduction.
Apart from new features, the One UI 8 Watch update carries the October 2025 security patches. US residents can identify the latest update through the PDA build version ending with DYK4.

Intel's Panther Lake family is still awaiting release, but the possible flagship chip of the bunch has been spotted on Geekbench. The BYD Leopard 3 is the best-selling vehicle in Ukraine in November.
Fantastic month for new light vehicle sales in Ukraine: up 45.8% year-on-year in November to 7,910 units. This is enough to tilt the year-to-date tally into positive at +0.9% to 68,121. BYD (+795.4%) lodges another stunning performance and smashes its market share record to 19.6% vs. a previous best of 14.6% reached just last month. As such BYD advances to #2 year-to-date (+260.4%). Volkswagen (+75.2%) is also in exceptional shape at #2 while Toyota (-6.9%) is weaker at #3. Skoda is up 20.4% to remain at #4 above Renault (+17.3%). Zeekr (+428%) breaks all its records to #7 with 396 sales and 5% share. These are the brand’s best performances anywhere in the world. Honda (+161.1%) and Hyundai (+80.6%) also shine in the remainder of the Top 10.
We have a new leader in the models charts: the new BYD Leopard 3 (aka Fang Cheng Bao Tai 3) is the standalone winner this month with 4.8% share and ranks #18 year-to-date with 1.3% of the market. #1 over the past two months, the VW ID.Unyx celebrates one year in market at #2 while the BYD Song Plus (+244%) is also down one spots on October to #3. This means the podium is entirely coming from China production-wise. Still by far the year-to-date best-seller, the Renault Duster (-23.7%) has to contend with 4th place like last month. The Toyota RAV4 (+43.4%) follows ahead of the Toyota Prado (+18.2%). The Zeekr 7X is up to a spectacular 7th position with 2.8% share while the BYD Sealion 6 is up 41 ranks on last month to #9.

A Furmark 2 benchmark of Intel's upcoming B370 Xe3 iGPU, has appeared on X with underwhelming results. Intel's outgoing Arc 140V Xe2 iGPU beats the B370 by 14% in this particular benchmark.
The Arrow Lake refresh is expected to fill in the gap till Nova Lake finally launches. The Core Ultra 7 270K Plus has just appeared on Geekbench and it achieved great scores that show a decent improvement over the outgoing 265K Plus it'll replace, despite running on relatively slow memory.

The Toyota bZ4X is inside the Japanese Top 30 for the first time.
New vehicle sales in Japan endure a 5th straight month of year-on-year declines in November at -5.1% to 369,721 units. Thanks to a start of the year boosted by low year-ago volumes, the YTD tally remains in positive at +3.4% to 4,230,318. 7 of the Top 8 carmakers are in negative this month. Toyota (-1.2%) leads the way above Suzuki (-3.6%) and Honda (-9.5%). Daihatsu (+9.3%) is the sole gainer near the top but drops one spot on last month to #4. Below, Nissan (-26.5%), Mazda (-17.5%), Mitsubishi (-17.2%) and Subaru (-15.4%) are all hit hard. Audi (+81.4%), Lexus (+19.3%), Mitsubishi Fuso (+17.1%) and Volkswagen (+8%) stand out further down.
Over in the regular cars ranking, both the Toyota Yaris/Cross (-22.6%) and Corolla/Cross (-32.1%) freefall but keep the lead. Obviously when separating the Cross variants these models are much weaker, which makes the Toyota Raize (+88.2%) the ‘true’ best-seller. The Toyota Sienta (+9.4%) and Roomy (+91.3%) complete the Top 5 above the Toyota Alphard (-18.4%). The Honda Freed (-9.7%) is the best-selling non Toyota like last month with the Toyota Voxy (+17.8%), Noah (+13.1%) and Honda Vezel (+19.3%) rounding out the Top 10. Below, notice the Toyota RAV4 (+284.7%), Suzuki Xbee (+100.8%) and bZ4X (+2938.5%) the latter breaking into the Top 30 for the first time for its 2nd month inside the Top 50.
Looking at kei cars, the Honda N-BOX (-10.2%) reclaims the top spot after a paltry October result when it dropped to #4. The Suzuki Spacia (-10.8%) stays at #2 ahead of last month’s leader the Daihatsu Move (+40.2%) still surging year-on-year. The Daihatsu Tanto (-17.7%) on the other hand is in difficulty at #4. The Honda N-One (+44%), Nissan Roox (+41%), Suzuki Jimny (+38.8%) and Mitsubishi Delica Mini/eK (+32%) deliver stunning results below.

Samsung has helped bring an important Korean art exhibition to the US. The family of the late Samsung Chairman Lee Kun-Hee donated his huge art collection to Korea in 2021. This generous gift made it possible for many of these treasures to be shared with people around the world.
The Smithsonian’s National Museum of Asian Art is now showing “Korean Treasures: Collected, Cherished, Shared.” It is the first large US exhibition of artworks from the Lee Kun-Hee Collection. The show is open through February 1, 2026.
Lee Kun-Hee spent more than 70 years collecting art. His collection includes over 23,000 pieces to make it one of the biggest and most important in Korea. The museum chose more than 200 artworks for this exhibition, which includes several National Treasures that are considered extremely valuable.
The exhibition is divided into 10 galleries and each focusing on a different aspect of Korean history and culture. Visitors can see the evolution of Korean art over 1,500 years, from ancient times to the present day.

One gallery features a sarangbang, a study used by scholars during the Joseon Dynasty. The exhibition hall contains simple wooden furniture, writing instruments, and books, differently illustrating the life and work of scholars.
There’s also a hall that focuses on court life, displaying palace paintings, exquisite ceramics, and objects used in important ceremonies. These exhibits showcase the luxury and splendor of Korean royal life.
A large part of the exhibition presents Buddhist art, which has played an important role in Korean culture. Visitors can see statues, religious objects, and bright altar paintings that were used in temples.
The exhibition also shows modern Korean artists who mix traditional styles with new ideas. Their works show how Korean art continued to grow and change in the modern era.
After Washington, the exhibition will travel to the Art Institute of Chicago in March 2026. A special book and an international symposium on Korean art will also be offered.
Two new Geekbench listings for the upcoming Ryzen 7 9850X3D chip have been uncovered, both from mid-November, that show the CPU posting higher single-core numbers than the existing 9800X3D while being beat in multi-threaded results. The chip boosted up to 5.6 GHz as expected, but was running on slow 4800 MT/s memory.
Samsung’s Galaxy S series followed a static design approach by featuring the same look on base and Plus models, while a different appearance on the Ultra. With the Galaxy S26 series, Samsung is going to end an era of design differences, making the phones look similar together.
Recent leaks from Samsung’s own One UI 8.5 firmware show a design shift that brings the entire Galaxy S26 family closer together, signaling the close of a chapter where the Ultra felt like a different beast altogether.
The images surfaced in an early build of One UI 8.5, Samsung’s next Android 16 skin. They appear as simple silhouettes labeled with internal codenames, M1 for the Galaxy S26, M2 for the S26 Plus, and M3 for the S26 Ultra.
These aren’t polished marketing shots, but they match detailed renders from reliable sources like OnLeaks and PhoneArt, giving us a solid view of what’s coming.
Galaxy S26 and S26 Plus
The S26 and S26 Plus now lean toward a boxier shape, with corners that curve less than those on the S25 models. It’s a subtle change, about 20 percent less radius on the edges, but it makes the phones feel more substantial in hand.

Galaxy S26 Ultra
The Galaxy S26 Ultra softens up, adopting broader, more rounded corners. This convergence means the lineup will look and grip more alike, ending the era where picking between a base model and the Ultra felt like choosing between two phone families.

Camera Island
The back panels keep the familiar camera island, but it’s refined: a vertical stack of three lenses on the S26 and S26 Plus, housed in a low-profile bump that doesn’t snag on surfaces.
The Ultra expands on that with two extra sensors flanking the main array, keeping its pro-grade edge without the aggressive angles of before.
We are in December 2025, and Samsung has started pushing a big update, One UI 8, for the Galaxy Tab S9 FE 5G on Verizon in the US. Based on Android 16, the latest update introduces several new features and improvements to enhance the Galaxy experience.
One UI 8 update for Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE 5G arrives in the US with One UI build version X518USQUADYK1. Along with several new features, the update includes the November 2025 security patch to keep your device safe and up-to-date.
Gemini is the main highlight of this update. It lets you interact with an AI that can understand what you’re seeing or doing on your device, right in real time. Now, you can open Gemini Live, tap the camera icon, and ask Gemini what’s on your screen. Also, you can share your screen with Gemini to get more context and help.
Another cool feature is Best Face. If you take a Motion photo, you can choose the best expression from the shots captured. This helps you fix any photos where someone blinked or wasn’t smiling, so you always get the perfect picture.
The update also brings a Wallpaper recommendation feature, which suggests wallpapers from your Gallery based on what looks best. Also, the new Lock Screen clock has a refreshed design that adjusts to fit your photos for a more personalised look.
To get the update, just go to Settings >> Software Update >> Download and Install. Make sure your tablet is connected to Wi-Fi and has enough battery to complete the update.

The new 4 Runner plays a part in significantly lifting Toyota sales in November.
DesRosiers Automotive has the Canadian new light vehicle market down a painful -8.6% year-on-year in November to an estimated 142,000 units. However, November 2024 was a particularly high comparison base as it was the first November since 2017 to pass the 150,000-unit milestone due to rushed sales in Quebeck before the end of green car subsidies. The SAAR is 1.87 million vs. 2.04 million last year. Also of note is we are very close to the pre-pandemic levels of 145,000 units in November 2019.
Among OEMs still reporting monthly sales, Toyota Motor stands out with a market-defying 8.8% year-on-year gain to over 20,000 units. Reversely, Honda Canada (-23.7%) freefalls while Hyundai-Kia (-2.1%) contains its loss. As for brands, Toyota (+10.1%) is the best performer just as Hyundai (-0.3%) manages to stay stable. Honda (-26.1%) in in a rut and Genesis (+6%), Mazda (+5%), Acura (+2.4%) and Volvo (+0.4%) are all in positive. Lexus (-0.1%) is stable.
Among models with available monthly data, the Toyota RAV4 (-6.2%) is weak yet beats the market, while the Hyundai Tucson (+39.1%) surges ahead. The Mazda CX-5 (+49.7%), Subaru Crosstrek (+30.5%), Hyundai Kona (+14.1%) and Toyota Corolla Cross (+11.1%) also post fantastic scores. Further down, notice the Toyota Grand Highlander (+143.5%), Tacoma (+60.6%), Kia Seltos (+60.1%) and Kia Sportage (+40.8%) as well as the Toyota 4Runner (+3415.4%) benefitting from a new generation.
