Francesco Totti believes Luciano Spalletti would be a ‘great acquisition’ for Juventus as the Italian tactician prepares to meet with the Bianconeri.
Spalletti has emerged as Juventus’ leading candidate to replace Igor Tudor, who was sacked on Monday following three consecutive defeats and an eight-game winless streak.
Spalletti is due to meet with Juventus’ director Damien Comolli later today, but on Tuesday morning, he reunited with his ex-Roma star Totti.
Spalletti and Totti teamed up for the new commercial of Amaro Montenegro in Italy, and the company unveiled their latest advertisement at an event in Milan.

Talking about rumours linking Spalletti with the Juventus job, Totti said (via Corriere dello Sport): “From what is being rumoured, he’s one of the candidates, and I think Juventus would make a great acquisition if they were to hire him. Whenever he’s gone, he’s always done well.”
Totti and Spalletti openly argued at the end of the 2016-17 campaign when the former striker accused the coach of forcing his retirement. Nevertheless, the duo seems to have cleared the air in recent years.

“Many years have passed, and some things just need to be put aside,” said Totti.
“There has been a great friendship, and it’s a pleasure to have met again on this occasion. We revisited and discussed things, and we were very happy with what we accomplished.”
Calcio&Finanza reports that Juventus will have to pay almost €30m to cover the salaries of their former coaches Thiago Motta and Igor Tudor, who remain under contract until June 2027.
Juventus are expected to pay almost €30m to cover the wages of sacked coaches Thiago Motta and Tudor, according to Calcio&Finanza.

Tudor was hired in March 2025 to replace Motta and signed a contract through 2027 after leading the club to Champions League qualification last season.
Juventus’ latest balance sheet for the financial year ending June 30, 2025, signals that the club has already set aside €16.3m to cover the salary of Motta and his staff members until June 2027.

The figures regarding Tudor’s salary are not official, but it is believed that the Croat signed a €3m-a-year contract until 2027, circa €5.5m gross, which brings the spending to €11m plus wages of his staff members.
This means Juventus will have to pay over €27.3m to their ex-coaches, unless they reach an agreement to end their contracts or unless Motta and Tudor find a new club before their deals expire in 2027.
Juventus have now identified Luciano Spalletti as the ideal replacement for Tudor, and according to various sources, the Bianconeri director Damien Comolli will meet the ex-Italy boss today.
Antonio Conte and Gian Piero Gasperini were Juventus’ primary options at the end of the 2024-25 campaign, and while Igor Tudor has already been sacked by the Bianconeri, the Italian coaches are now at the top of the Serie A table.
The Croatian tactician was hired in March 2025 to replace Thiago Motta and remained at the helm after leading the team to a Champions League qualification and with the Club World Cup just around the corner.
Tudor signed a contract until 2027 in June, but Juventus had considered different options before that.

As reported by Gazzetta, it is no secret that Juventus’ top priority for the bench in May was their former coach and midfielder Conte.
The Napoli boss had been contacted by ex-Juventus director Cristiano Giuntoli, but eventually decided to remain at the Stadio Maradona after winning the Scudetto.

According to Gazzetta, Giuntoli had approached Conte even before appointing Tudor in March, working for a possible agreement for the 2025-26 campaign.
The pink paper claims that Giuntoli had also contacted Gasperini, who had no agreement with Roma and was preparing to leave Atalanta.
Gasperini picked Roma over Juventus

However, Napoli convinced Conte to stay, and Giuntoli was fired by Juventus, so when Damien Comolli arrived as the new Juventus General Manager, the club’s strategy partially changed.
There was still contact between Comolli and Gasperini, but the Italian tactician was already in advanced talks with Roma, and Comolli was not entirely convinced about hiring the Grugliasco-born coach.
Giorgio Chiellini had reportedly suggested hiring Gasperini, but the now Roma coach felt Comolli was sceptical about appointing him, so he closed the deal with Roma.
Ironically, while Juventus are now looking for a new coach, Conte and Gasperini share the top spot of the table in Serie A ahead of a mid-week round.
Fabio Capello refuses to solely blame Igor Tudor for Juventus’ poor results as he feels the Croatian tactician has paid ‘for everyone’ and believes Luciano Spalletti is an ideal candidate for the job at the Allianz Stadium.
Juventus sacked their coach, Igor Tudor, on Monday following three consecutive defeats and a winless streak of eight matches.
Capello ‘not sure’ about who’s in charge at Juventus

“Tudor pays for everyone. At Juventus, eight matches without a win and three consecutive defeats are too many, but the responsibility doesn’t lie solely with the coach,” Capello told Gazzetta.
“The original sin was the half-hearted trust the club placed in Tudor. Last summer, the directors looked at other coaches too, and only late did they confirm Igor by renewing his contract. Players can sense these things and look for excuses in such situations. But the real question is: Did Tudor build his team, or did somebody else?
“I’m not entirely sure who’s really in charge at the club,” Capello continued.
“Certainly, someone with Giorgio Chiellini’s experience and stature would be useful alongside the team, just like Paolo Maldini was for Pioli’s title-winning Milan. Chiellini, however, seems to be busy with political and institutional matters.”

As reported by Football Italia, Tudor paid a high price not just for Juventus’ poor results, but also for a frosty relationship with Damien Comolli. Juventus directors were not impressed by Tudor’s communication style, but Capello agreed with the former Bianconeri boss.
“I’ve always liked Tudor’s communication style,” he said.
“When he spoke about the lack of top players, he was right. That’s the problem for Italian football in general, not just for Juventus.
“It’s not like it used to be. Nowadays, top players rarely choose Serie A. As a result, the clubs are forced to rely on reinforcements who can help, but not all of them can handle the pressure that comes with playing for the biggest teams.”
Capello feels Spalletti is the right option to replace Tudor at Juventus
FLORENCE, ITALY – OCTOBER 07: Head coach Italy Luciano Spalletti speaks with the media during Italy press conference at Centro Tecnico Federale di Coverciano on October 07, 2024 in Florence, Italy. (Photo by Claudio Villa/Getty Images)
The Bianconeri have identified Spalletti as the number one choice to replace Tudor, and a meeting between the ex-Italy coach and Comolli is expected to take place today.
“Luciano is a coach of great quality and experience; he’s already managed top clubs and won. After the disappointment with Italy, he’ll have a desire for redemption inside him that could be an added value in a situation like this,” noted Capello.
“What could be better than restarting from a historic and prestigious club like Juventus? Spalletti has the right charisma to lift the Bianconeri back up. Paradoxically, the most positive aspect is the standings. Despite a poor start, Juventus are only six points behind leaders Napoli and Roma.
“Any coach will have to restart from Yildiz and from getting the strikers scoring again.”
Capello, however, warned that: “if you don’t have superstars like Messi or Yamal, players who can score on their own, you need to get the ball into the box for your forwards.
“Even a phenomenon like Haaland needs to be supplied. Beyond Spalletti’s ability, you need midfielders and quality players to deliver those balls so that Vlahovic, David and Openda can score.”
Spalletti has been without a team since June 2026 when he was sacked by the Italian Federation following a 3-0 loss against Norway in the World Cup qualifiers.
OnePlus recently took the wraps off its latest flagship smartphone over in China. This came in the form of the OnePlus 15. But it turns out OnePlus isn’t done with new phones just yet. According to the rumors, the company is working on a phone called the OnePlus Turbo. Now, thanks to a report by Smartprix, the OnePlus Turbo specs have been revealed.
OnePlus Turbo specs revealed
According to the rumors, the OnePlus Turbo is meant to be a gaming smartphone. Based on the rumored specs of the OnePlus Turbo, there is one major difference between it and the OnePlus 15: battery.
The OnePlus 15 comes with a 7,300mAh battery, which is already impressive. However, the report claims that the OnePlus Turbo could pack an even larger battery, going up to a whopping 8,000mAh. This, combined with the 100W charging, will make the phone an endurance beast.
However, since the focus is more on performance, OnePlus could dial back on the cameras. The rumors are saying we can look forward to a dual camera setup on the back. This will consist of a 50MP main shooter and an 8MP ultrawide. This is compared to the OnePlus 15, which sports a triple 50MP camera setup on the back.
As for the rest of the phone, it appears to be more or less identical to its flagship sibling. We’re talking about a ~6.7-inch 1.5K OLED display with a 165Hz refresh rate. We’re also looking at the use of the Snapdragon 8 Elite 5. So, like we said, the major difference here is in its battery. If you don’t really care too much about cameras, then the OnePlus Turbo could make a good alternative to the OnePlus 15, especially if battery life is a big deal for you.
Coming not so soon
Smartprix claims that their source told them the handset is currently being tested in India. If testing goes to plan, the OnePlus Turbo could launch in the next two months. This is an odd time for a release towards the end of the year. However, OnePlus might be able to catch a break.
Samsung typically launches its new flagships in January. This means if OnePlus launches it in December, it would have very little time before Samsung takes over the news cycle. However, last we heard, Samsung could delay the launch of the Galaxy S26 to March 2026.

“I feel well, I wait with serenity. I have the ambition to set things right,” the ex-Italy coach told Sky Sport via Gazzetta.

“I can only speak highly of Tudor, a serious and passionate person. Whoever will replace him will be lucky because he’ll find a well-trained team.”
Juventus confirmed Tudor’s sacking on Monday after the team lost three consecutive matches and failed to score in the last four.

Spalletti also spoke about his reunion with Totti, which has made headlines in Italy because of their public dispute during the coach’s second spell at the Stadio Olimpico.
“It feels so good to sit next to Totti,” Spalletti said.
“There were some risky choices, but we spent some marvellous years together, so when Ramazzotti put us back together, I was very happy and he was quite relaxed.”
Juventus sacked Igor Tudor because of poor results and performances in recent games, but the frosty relationship between the Croat and club director Damien Comolli also played a role in the coach’s dismissal.
Juventus announced Tudor’s sacking on Monday and Juventus General Manager Comolli is set to meet Luciano Spalletti today to offer him the job at the Allianz Stadium.
Juventus have been winless since September 13, they’ve lost three games in a row and have not scored in the last four.
Naturally, results and performances in recent weeks led to Tudor’s dismissal, but there’s more behind Juventus’ decision to part ways with the Croatian tactician.
Edon Zhegrova signs his Juventus contract with Damien Comolli
Behind Tudor and Comolli’s frosty relationship
Juventus’ transfer activity surely affected the relationship between Comolli and Tudor, given that the coach’s requests were largely ignored by the Old Lady’s general manager. Juventus didn’t sign a new central midfielder over the summer but signed instead two attacking players, Lois Openda and Edon Zhegrova, on deadline day. Furthermore, Tudor was eager to keep Alberto Costa in the team, especially after some positive performances in the Club World Cup, but Juventus still decided to swap the Portuguese right-back with his compatriot Joao Mario, who has only collected 330 minutes on the pitch across all competitions since moving to Turin.

Director of Performance
The appointment of a new Director of Performance, Darren Burgess, in September, was another decision that the club did not share with the coach. The welcome from Tudor surely wasn’t a warm one, as the Croat said “This gentleman hasn’t yet arrived at the club” when asked about Burgess’ appointment last month. Juventus had welcomed Burgess, stating that the ex-Arsenal and Liverpool staff member would “work closely with Damien Comolli, Giorgio Chiellini, François Modesto, Igor Tudor and across all the technical areas and every age group of the Club to form a high-level team dedicated to promoting excellence in performance, innovation and athlete wellbeing.” Furthermore, as first reported by Tuttosport, in recent weeks, club directors also discussed Tudor’s tactics, suggesting in one-on-one meetings that he should have considered switching to a four-man defence, a step into Tudor’s territory that the coach didn’t particularly appreciate.
Communication
Aside from results, Juventus were also not impressed by Tudor’s communication, including frequent protests towards referees. Tudor’s first complaint came after a 1-1 draw at Hellas Verona, in which the Bianconeri protested for a penalty kick in favour of their opponents and a potential red card for the Gialloblu striker Gift Orban. On that occasion, Tudor labelled the penalty kick decision as “shameful.” Tudor’s communication strategy didn’t change in the following weeks as he kept complaining about referees, and even the fixture list, before a Champions League game against Real Madrid last week, with Giorgio Chiellini, Comolli and François Modesto sitting in front of him in the first row of the press room of the Estadio Bernabeu. Ultimately, on and off-the-field issues led to the coach’s dismissal, and Juventus are now on the verge of starting a new era, with their third coach in seven months.
Multiple sources in Italy, including Gazzetta, claim that Juventus will meet with Spalletti today to discuss the contract details and the technical project following Tudor’s dismissal.

“Yuventus” rəhbərliyi İtaliya millisinin sabiq baş məşqçisi Luçano Spaletti ilə danışıqlar aparmağı planlaşdırır.
Komanda.az xarici KİV-ə istinadən xəbər verir ki, tərəflər arasında danışıqlar bu gün olacaq.
Turin klubu 66 yaşlı mütəxəssisə mövsümün sonuna qədər müqavilə, əlavə olaraq isə müddətin uzadılma imkanını təklif etməyi düşünür.
“Yuventus” son turda səfərdə “Latsio”ya 0:1 hesabı ilə məğlub olub və bütün turnirlərdə qələbəsiz oyunlar seriyasını 8-ə çatdırıb. Komanda A Seriyasının səkkiz turundan sonra 12 xalla turnir cədvəlinin 8-ci pilləsində qərarlaşıb.
“Yuventus”un sabiq futbolçusu Alessandro Del Pyero komandanın durumu haqda fikirlərini bölüşüb.
Futbolpress.az xəbər verir ki, keçmiş yarımmüdafiəçi 8 oyundur qələbə qazana bilməyən “qoca sinyora” ilə bağlı bunları deyib:
“Yuventus”da problem məşqçidə deyil. Məsələ daha dərindir. Komandanın yumruq kimi birləşməsində problem var. “Latsio”ya qarşı pis oynamadılar, məğlubiyyətə layiq deyildilər. Eynilə “Real”la oyunda da. Lakin əsas problemli matç “Komo”ya qarşı idi. Bu durumda kim gəlsə, çempionluq çətin olacaq”.
“Yuventus” dünən baş məşqçisi İqor Tudorla yollarını ayırıb. Komanda A Seriyasında 12 xalla 8-ci sıradadır.
“Yuventus”un yarımmüdafiəçisi Manuel Lokatelli komandanın son oyunlardakı çətinlikləri barədə fikirlərini bölüşüb.
Komanda.az xarici KİV-ə istinadən xəbər verir ki, o, səhvlər üzərində çalışmalı olduqlarını deyib:
“Komanda hər məşqdə əlindən gələni edir. Çox çalışırıq, amma səhvlər etməyə davam edirik. Problemin nə olduğunu anlamalıyıq. Təcili olaraq təkmilləşməli və matçlarda qalib gəlməyə başlamalıyıq. Çətinliklərin öhdəsindən gəlmək üçün birlik və həmrəyliyi qorumaq xüsusilə vacibdir”.
Turin komandası A Seriyasında oktyabrın 29-da “Udineze” ilə qarşılaşacaq. Komanda 8 oyundan sonra 12 xalla turnir cədvəlində 8-ci pillədə qərarlaşıb.
Futbolpress.az xəbər verir ki, “qoca sinyora” post üçün Luçano Spaletti ilə danışıqlar aparır. Bu barədə İtaliya mətbuatı məlumat yayıb. “Yuventus” mütəxəssisə müddəti mövsümün sonuna kimi olan müqavilə təklif edib.
Təyinat baş tutsa və komanda Çempionlar Liqasına vəsiqə əldə etsə, Spaletti ilə müqavilə uzadıla bilər.
Luçano son olaraq İtaliya yığmasına rəhbərlik edib. O, daha əvvəl “Roma”, “İnter”, “Napoli” kimi klublarda işləyib.
The XRP market is bracing for a new phase of intense volatility, with anticipation growing around key legal, regulatory, and institutional developments. Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse has recently addressed the XRP community, offering guidance and setting expectations for what is to come.
XRP Unusual Stability May Be Setting Up A Major Move
The cryptocurrency world is buzzing with increased anticipation for XRP, following a series of strategic announcements from Ripple and compelling technical analysis. Popular crypto news source CryptosRus has highlighted on X that the altcoin is poised for a sharp move, as Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse has mentioned that investors should be prepared for a substantial shift.
At the core of this move, Ripple has just launched Ripple Prime, a new global prime brokerage service tailored for institutional clients. According to the company, Ripple Prime will be powered by Ripple’s foundational digital asset infrastructure, encompassing its robust solutions for payments, crypto custody, and stablecoin capabilities, alongside XRP.
However, CEO Brad Garlinghouse called this move another step toward building the internet of value, emphasizing that the XRP sits at the center of everything Ripple does. CryptosRus noted that the altcoin has recently bounced off a key support level at $2.33. This technical indicator is signaling a potential 30% rally, with an initial target of $3.45 or even higher, as market momentum continues to build.
An analyst known as TylerHillYT, who is also the president of FluenceGlobal and Co-Founder of the CSS, has also stated that the XRP price comeback is showing structural strength. In just a day, the token burn rate spiked 29%, mirroring its 29% price surge, signaling a synchronized increase in both on-chain demand and heightened investor activity.
This Ripple’s deeper expansion into traditional finance and the recent launch of Ripple Prime have caused the network usage to ramp up again. TylerHillYT emphasized that at the accelerated pace, XRP is not just riding a wave of market momentum, but it’s rebuilding its long-term narrative. However, the burn acceleration with renewed institutional traction could be the early signs of a sustained upward trajectory, pushing the token structurally toward the $3.00 mark.
Connecting Market Surge To Foundational Growth
While the digital asset market is vibrating with renewed excitement surrounding XRP, a prominent crypto influencer and creator on Binance and CMC, Jack, has revealed that the bulls have firmly smashed through the critical $2.55 resistance level with conviction. This decisive breakout has now set the immediate sights of traders on $2.80 and beyond.
Jack mentioned that whale activity is back, and the Open Interest (OI) is climbing steadily, while sentiment is flipping fast. If this powerful momentum holds, the next significant pit stop for XRP could be the $3.00 mark and beyond.
Zhengzhou, a city rich in culture, has become the place to be for the combination of preservation of the past with urban development. The Global Mayors Dialogue and the International Mayors’ Forum on Tourism 2025 were held in the city from October 22 to 25, 2025. More than 300 mayors, experts and scholars from all over the world gathered for the discussion of sustainable urban renewal. The forum’s topic, ‘Preserving the Cultural Legacy of Ancient Capitals and Driving Urban Renewal‘, was an eye-opener to the global situation of how to keep the past and the present in a nice balance, thus preventing the one from choking the other.
Cultural Heritage at the Heart of Urban Development
Zhengzhou has pioneered a model for cultural heritage integration into urban planning. The city is leading the charge with its ‘archaeology first, construction later‘ approach, ensuring that historical relics and archaeological sites are protected during modern development projects. This forward-thinking model has allowed Zhengzhou to preserve its ancient history while advancing urban growth.
One of the key projects discussed during the forum was the Zhengzhou Shang City Archaeological Site Park. Here, 3,600-year-old Shang Dynasty city walls have been seamlessly incorporated into modern city life. The park offers an interactive experience, inviting visitors to engage with the history of the Shang Dynasty while enjoying a contemporary urban environment. The integration of this archaeological site into the fabric of modern Zhengzhou showcases how cities can evolve without losing touch with their roots.
The Fuminli cultural block is another prime example of how cultural industries can thrive alongside historical preservation. The project aims to preserve the original street layout while incorporating modern cultural elements, creating a thematic space where tradition and modernity coexist. This innovative approach ensures that Zhengzhou retains its authentic cultural charm while offering unique, immersive tourism experiences.
Sustainable Tourism: A Global Exchange of Ideas
The forum provided a platform for global leaders to share experiences and strategies on how best to integrate heritage preservation with tourism. Delegates from cities such as Asti, Italy, Palomeque, Spain, and Rotorua, New Zealand, shared their approaches to cultural tourism and urban development.
For example, in Asti, Italy, the city has transformed historical sites into cultural hubs, leveraging its winemaking tradition to offer experiential tourism that not only preserves its history but revitalizes the local economy. Similarly, Palomeque in Spain has embraced proactive protection, integrating modern elements into traditional streetscapes, allowing the city’s historic areas to thrive alongside contemporary urban developments.
Rotorua, a city known for its indigenous Maori culture, has used modern technology to breathe new life into traditional cultural practices, creating economic opportunities while promoting sustainable tourism. These examples highlight how cities around the world are finding innovative ways to preserve their cultural heritage while supporting modern economic growth and tourism.
Zhengzhou’s Role in Shaping the Future of Urban Development
As cities continue to face the pressures of modernization, Zhengzhou has shown that it is possible to create a sustainable urban model that incorporates cultural heritage. The city’s approach to urban renewal is not about mere reconstruction but rather about fostering organic growth—allowing for the preservation of history while embracing innovation. This philosophy offers a balanced path forward for cities worldwide that are seeking to respect their cultural roots while moving toward a modern future.
Zhengzhou, a Cultural and Tourism Hub of the Future
Zhengzhou’s vision for urban renewal is an inspiring example of how ancient cities can shape the future of urban development and tourism. By blending cultural heritage with modernity, the city offers a unique travel experience, where history is not only preserved but integrated into the modern urban landscape. As more cities around the world look for sustainable models of growth, Zhengzhou’s approach provides valuable insights into how cultural tourism can play a central role in the future of urban development.
In this cooperative conversation, Zhengzhou is asserting its status as a cultural tourism leader by providing tourists with the chance to witness the coexistence of ancient customs and modern creativity in one of the most significant cities in China’s history. This strategy is not only changing Zhengzhou but is also opening the door for cities around the world to go down the same path and find their own ways between heritage preservation and urban renewal.

VSE’s acquisition of Aero 3 will provide a unified solution for fleet operators, combining tire repair and replacement services from its 2023 acquisition of Desser Aerospace with the wheel and brake services from Aero 3. This integrated offering will streamline operations for aviation customers, ensuring efficient, high-quality service delivery.
Enhanced Capabilities for High-Margin Solutions
Aero 3’s capabilities in engineering and producing proprietary solutions are expected to elevate VSE’s portfolio, enabling the company to offer higher value, differentiated products. This development aligns with VSE’s objective to accelerate growth in the high-margin proprietary products sector, which is expected to contribute significantly to the company’s overall expansion.
As VSE continues to expand its services, it will also enhance its support for OEMs, a crucial aspect of its long-term strategy. With the addition of Aero 3’s facilities, VSE will have access to one of the most comprehensive global aftermarket platforms in the industry, specialising in aircraft wheels and brakes.
Global Market Leadership
The strategic acquisition strengthens VSE’s position as a leader in the global aviation aftermarket services market, specifically in the wheel and brake sector. With Aero 3 now part of VSE’s portfolio, the company will leverage its extended network of repair and distribution facilities to cater to a larger, more diverse customer base.
In addition to its market-leading MRO services, the acquisition will further solidify VSE’s standing as an OEM-aligned partner. With expanded operational reach, the company will be able to deliver integrated solutions for aviation operators, ensuring they receive the highest quality products and services.
The addition of nine new MRO facilities in key international locations will also enhance VSE’s ability to serve commercial aviation customers in Europe, North America, and beyond. These locations will allow VSE to provide closer proximity to aviation hubs, enabling more efficient service delivery and improved turnaround times.
Financial Impact and Future Growth Prospects
The transaction, valued at approximately 350 million dollars, is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2025, pending regulatory approvals. Aero 3’s estimated annual revenue for the trailing twelve months ended August 2025 stands at 120 million dollars, with adjusted EBITDA margins exceeding 20 percent. The acquisition is set to contribute significantly to VSE’s growth, with its consolidated adjusted EBITDA margin expected to increase by over 50 basis points on a pro forma basis.
The financial backing for this acquisition will come from VSE’s anticipated equity financing and/or borrowings from its existing credit facility. VSE expects that the combined strength of its operations will lead to significant sales synergies and continued growth in the global aviation aftermarket sector.
A Stronger Future for Aviation Aftermarket Services
After acquiring Aero 3, VSE Corporation seems ready to broaden its global reach and improve its aviation after-market services. Aero 3 strengthens VSE’s already highly competitive position in the market by adding new capabilities in wheel and brake MRO services, OEM distribution, and proprietary product solutions.
Aero 3 and VSE’s combined expertise will deliver unparalleled value to aviation customers worldwide, providing dependable and high-quality services far into the future. VSE’s growing global presence and its continued expansion into new regions will enhance the value of the civil aviation market and surely make VSE one of the key players in its future growth.
Sky Sport Italia suggests that Juventus could meet face-to-face with Luciano Spalletti to discuss a potential appointment as Bianconeri head coach on Tuesday, and that the Old Lady are planning to offer a short-term contract with an option to renew.
The Croatian had gone eight matches without a win in any competition and his team had not scored in any of their last four matches. He becomes the first Serie A head coach to lose their job in 2025-26, lasting for just eight league matches.

According to reports from Gianluca Di Marzio and Sky Sport Italia, Juventus could hold face-to-face talks with Spalletti as early as Tuesday. As Football Italia reported on Monday, the former Napoli and Italy head coach is the current frontrunner to replace Tudor.
According to the latest updates, Juventus are prepared to offer Spalletti a contract until the end of the 2025-26 season with an obligation to renew if the Old Lady qualify for next season’s Champions League.

As per Gianluca Di Marzio, it remains to be seen whether that automatic contract extension will be for another 12 months, or for another two years. Monday evening’s report indicates that Spalletti is already inclined to accept either way.
Sky also adds that Spalletti has recently rejected potential opportunities abroad, including Fenerbahce and to some lucrative proposals from Qatar, in order to focus on a return to Serie A.
Kenan Yildiz has sent his best wishes to Igor Tudor, who was sacked from his position as head coach of Juventus on Monday: ‘All the best for the future’.
Juventus officially announced the departure of Tudor as head coach on Monday following a run of eight matches without a win across Serie A and the Champions League. The Bianconeri had not won since the 4-3 victory over Inter on September 13, and had not scored in any of Tudor’s last four matches in charge.
The Croatian is the first head coach to lose his job in Serie A in 2025-26, receiving his marching orders just eight league games into the campaign.
Juventus players thank Tudor after Juventus sacking
Gleison Bremer was the first of the Juve players to publicly express their gratitude to Tudor following the news of his departure on Monday. “Thank you for everything, gaffer, best of luck for the future,” he wrote in his story on Instagram.
Yildiz, the most recent of the Juventus players to thank Tudor, wrote the same message as Bremer, but in English: “Thank you for everything, Mister. All the best for the future.”
Mattia Perin has also sent a message to Tudor on his Instagram story, simply writing: “Thank you, mister.”
Juventus and Italy legend Gianluigi Buffon has expressed his support for his former colleague Luciano Spalletti, who is the current frontrunner to replace Igor Tudor as head coach of the Bianconeri.
Juventus announced on Monday that Tudor has been relieved from his duties as head coach following a run of eight matches without a win and four games without scoring. The Old Lady have not won in any competition since the 4-3 Derby d’Italia victory over Inter on September 13.
Several names have already been linked with a move to take over at the Allianz Stadium, including Roberto Mancini and Raffaele Palladino, but Spalletti is the current frontrunner, and is already in direct contact with the club.

Buffon, speaking at the closing ceremony of the Corriere dello Sport centenary event in Naples on Monday evening, expressed his support for Spalletti becoming the next head coach of his beloved Juventus.
“For me, Luciano is the right profile for any big club who wants to remain ambitious. You won’t lose many with Luciano,” Buffon said.
Buffon and Spalletti have worked together previously as part of the Italy national team set-up. Spalletti was CT from the end of the summer in 2023 until the start of the summer in 2025, while Buffon served as delegation chief, a role that he still holds today.

“It would be a great professional choice,” Buffon said of Juventus’s links with Spalletti. “He’s a football man, he’s a great person and a great coach.
“Spalletti is the best around in terms of experience, charisma and authority. He’s the right person for ambitious clubs who want to remain ambitious. It’s a shame seeing him not in the dugout.”
Jose Mourinho had an opportunity to discuss his time with Inter, and his rivalries with Milan and Juventus alongside Adriano Galliani and Gianluigi Buffon during a special event on Monday evening: ‘I have so much respect for him’.
Mourinho, Galliani and Buffon were all among the star guests at an event organised by Corriere dello Sport, celebrating the paper’s 100th anniversary on Monday evening.
Mourinho, who was appointed head coach of Benfica in September, was unable to attend in-person, but joined the special guests on a video call midway through the event on Monday.

Mourinho had a brief opportunity to discuss Inter’s rivalries with Milan and Juventus with Galliani and Buffon, insisting that he always had ‘respect’ for the former, and considers the latter ‘one of the greatest, if not the greatest’.
Galliani, speaking about his experiences going up against Mourinho during his Milan days, said: “I’ve never felt like an opponent of Jose Mourinho. I respect him and I hope that this feeling will be reciprocated.”

Mourinho, meanwhile, replied: “I always remember that during my time with Inter, I both won and lost against Milan. But, Galliani and (Silvio) Berlusconi would always come into the dressing room to congratulate us, and for this, I have so much respect for Adriano.”
Buffon interjected, and insisted that the rivalry between Inter and Juventus was not always as pleasant.

“There was no ‘good’ blood between Juve and Inter,” Buffon said. “At the time, we wanted to kill them, but then you’d meet Jose, who’d make a joke or say something to you that meant that you couldn’t hate him.”
Mourinho was then able to exchange pleasantries with Buffon, adding: “I’ve always seen Juve as Juve, even if they were coming back up from Serie B at the time. And Gigi was always among the best, if not the best.”

OnePlus’ latest launch event wasn’t just about phones. Alongside the OnePlus 15 and Ace 6, the company also unveiled the OnePlus Pad 2 for the Chinese market.
Before we get into the details, there’s one thing to clear up. OnePlus’ tablet naming scheme differs internationally and in the mainland.
Globally, the company has already launched the OnePlus Pad 3 with the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip. It’s the successor to 2024’s Pad 2 that comes with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.
This means the China branding is technically a generation behind. Still, the Pad 2’s hardware lines up with what you’d expect from a premium 2025 tablet.
OnePlus Pad 2 Specifications
The OnePlus Pad 2 features a 12.1-inch 3K display (3000 × 2120) with a 144Hz dynamic refresh rate, a 540Hz touch sampling rate, and 900 nits of peak brightness. OnePlus claims it can push 144fps in select mobile titles.
Powering the device is the MediaTek Dimensity 9400+, a flagship-tier chip with an AnTuTu score of over 3.05 million, paired with an ultra-large vapor-cooling system covering more than 46,000mm².
Despite the horsepower, the tablet remains slim at 5.99mm and weighs just 579 grams.
On the software side, it runs ColorOS 16, which includes a few additions for gamers and students alike. A new “Game Camera” feature lets users capture ultra-clear Live Photo screenshots or replay up to 30 seconds of gameplay.
For note-takers, the OS brings handwriting beautification and intelligent content extraction tools to improve the experience during online classes. The Pad 2 also supports a panoramic virtual screen mode that can open three apps side-by-side, along with two additional floating windows.
Inside, there’s a 10,420mAh battery with 67W SuperVOOC charging, and OnePlus claims the system is optimized for “five years of lasting smoothness.” The tablet also supports PC-level WPS Office, multi-window workflows, and even custom font installations.
Price and Availability
The OnePlus Pad 2 starts at 2,799 yuan (≈ $380) for the 8GB + 256GB model, with 12GB + 256GB and 16GB + 512GB variants priced at 3,099 yuan and 3,599 yuan, respectively.
Open sales begin on October 30, and early buyers will receive a one-year screen protection plan worth 249 yuan at no additional cost. Meanwhile, students can claim a free stylus worth 399 yuan during the pre-sale period.

The OnePlus 15 has barely launched in China, but it’s already finding its way into the hands of eager international buyers. Thanks to import retailers like Giztop, the phone is available globally ahead of its official release — packing Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip and flagship hardware at a surprisingly aggressive price.
Launched in China on October 27, the OnePlus 15 is the company’s first phone powered by Qualcomm’s 3nm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. In China, pricing starts at CNY 3,999 (~$561) for the 12GB/256GB variant and goes up to CNY 5,399 (~$758) for 16GB/1TB. Importers like Giztop currently list it at the following prices:
12GB/256GB – $699
12GB/512GB – $799
16GB/512GB – $849
16GB/256GB – $749
16GB/1TB – $949
Buyers can choose between Black, Purple, and Titanium color options.
Early import units run ColorOS 16 (Android 16-based) with multi-language support, but also come with pre-installed regional apps and reportedly no official warranty — meaning any issues rely on seller policies.
The specs are undeniably premium: a 6.78-inch, 1.5K LTPO AMOLED display with 165Hz refresh rate. Thanks to the 8 Elite Gen 5, it can even hit 165fps in supported games, including Call of Duty Mobile, League of Legends Mobile, and Naruto Mobile. There’s a massive 7,300mAh battery this year, up from 6000 mAh of the OnePlus 13.
The phone packs a 7,300mAh silicon-carbon battery with 120W wired and 50W wireless charging, along with a 50MP triple-camera setup that includes a 3.5x periscope telephoto lens. Interested readers can check out our launch coverage for a full breakdown of features.
And for those willing to wait for the global version with localized software and warranty, November 13 seems to be the date to mark.

OnePlus has officially unveiled the OnePlus 15 in China, featuring Android’s best chip, a 165Hz screen, and a big battery. It’s also the first OnePlus phone in years to move past the Hasselblad camera partnership. Instead, the company is introducing its own LUMO Imaging technology.
The OnePlus 15 is a spec-heavy device in most areas, but the display is clearly the star of the show. At the launch event, OnePlus spent most of its time talking about the screen — and it’s easy to see why.
A world first
OnePlus claims the 15 is the first phone in the world with a 165Hz refresh rate. To be specific, 165Hz with 1.5K resolution. And the claims are that it improves response time by 10 milliseconds and display speed by 27%.
The company is leaning into gaming to make full use of this ultra-high refresh rate. The screen supports native 165fps gameplay for popular esports titles like Call of Duty Mobile, League of Legends Mobile, and Naruto Mobile, while it is also compatible with 144Hz and 120Hz modes.
The display itself is the third-generation “Oriental Screen ” from BOE built on OnePlus’ self-developed production line. OnePlus says its display metrics surpass DisplayMate A++ standards, with hardware-level low blue light, a 1-nit true dark mode, and industry-low flicker (SVM < 0.12) for improved eye comfort. It’s also the first display to receive the new “Little Gold Label” eye-protection certification in China.
Under the Hood
The OnePlus 15 runs on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. According to OnePlus, the SoC delivers 20% higher CPU performance, 35% lower CPU power draw, and 23% better GPU performance, all while consuming 20% less energy.
To make use of that power, OnePlus introduced what it calls a “Fengchi Gaming Core (in Chinese),” a system-level gaming optimization engine that enables sustained 165fps gameplay. The company also says it’s the first Android phone with touch-display synchronization for improved touch accuracy and consistency during long gaming sessions.
Networking performance also gets a boost from the new G2 esports network chip, which reduces latency by up to 65%, speeds up game updates by 71%, and improves video upload speeds by 42% under network congestion.
Of course, this level of performance generates heat. To manage that, the OnePlus 15 uses a “Glacier Cooling System” featuring an ultra-thin steel vapor chamber that increases liquid cooling space by 43% and doubles capillary water absorption efficiency. It also incorporates aerospace-grade supercritical aerogel to keep the phone cool to the touch.
Powering everything is a 7,300mAh battery with 120W wired and 50W wireless charging. OnePlus says a 5-minute charge gives up to 6 hours of video playback, while 13 minutes can refill 5,000mAh.
In real-world testing, the company claims the OnePlus 15 can run large FPS games at 165fps for up to 7.6 hours, stream short videos for 19 hours, or handle navigation for 12 hours straight.
The OnePlus 15 borrows a page from console gaming as it has a gyroscope of the same specifications used in the PS5 controller. Its 200Hz sampling rate improves aiming accuracy by 77% and cuts latency by 11%, claims OnePlus.
Cameras
For imaging, the OnePlus 15 debuts the LUMO Imaging System, pairing a 50MP Sony sensor with OIS, a 50MP ultrawide, and a 3.5x optical periscope telephoto lens of the same megapixel count. The camera supports 4K 120fps Dolby video recording. There is a 32MP sensor on the front for selfies.
On the software side, it ships with ColorOS 16, offering AI tools such as automatic video summaries, AI mind mapping, and quick bill recording. The phone also supports multi-device mirroring across Mac, iPhone, smartwatch, and PC. Other features include an IP69K rating, USB 3.2 Gen 1, and dual stereo speakers.
Price and Availability
The OnePlus 15 starts at 3,999 yuan (around $560) in China and is set to go on sale beginning on October 28.
Here’s the full pricing breakdown:
12GB + 256GB: 3,999 CNY (~Rs 49,530 | ~$560)
12GB + 512GB: 4,299 CNY (~Rs 53,250 | ~$600)

OnePlus is set to launch the OnePlus 15 and Ace 6 later today in China. But just hours before the official launch, alleged price details for both devices have appeared on the Chinese social media platform Weibo.
According to the leak, the OnePlus 15 could start at 4,299 yuan (~ $605) for the 16GB RAM and 256GB storage model. The 16GB/512GB variant is said to be priced at 4,899 yuan (~ $690), while the top-end 16GB/1TB version could reach 5,399 (~ $760) yuan.

Luxury Custom Tour experiences have gained unprecedented attention in the United States (US) and custom travel providers are more than willing to accommodate the bespoke travel requests of affluent American clients. European firms, particularly from the United Kingdom, have noticed a ne. There are multiple tours given in the United States but few bespoke traveling options. Companies are more than willing to accommodate this niche.
Growing Demand for Tailored Travel
The US market for custom tours is booming, driven by travel advisors catering to affluent clients who seek unique, curated experiences. These travelers are no longer satisfied with standard group tours. Instead, they are looking for exclusive, smaller group experiences that are difficult to replicate in mass-market packages. For custom tour operators, this demand presents a golden opportunity to grow their business in a market where competition is still relatively low compared to more traditional tour offerings.
European Companies Leading the Charge
Red Savannah, a luxury travel operator based in Gloucestershire, England, has reported a sharp increase in U.S. bookings. This year, US travel interest has soared by over 115% compared to pre-pandemic levels. The company’s focus on the US market since its inception has paid off, with 45% of its business now coming from American clients. The company’s founder, George Morgan-Grenville, identified early on that the U.S. lacked sufficient custom tour options. This foresight allowed Red Savannah to tap into a demand for bespoke luxury travel that US-based operators were not fully meeting.
Expansion and Success for Other Operators
Other European-based companies are also capitalizing on this trend. Pelorus Travel, a London-based luxury adventure tour provider, has witnessed a significant uptick in US leads. The company reports a 150% increase in leads from US travel agencies in just one year. The success is largely attributed to the robust relationships these operators have built with American travel advisors, who are now turning to them to offer high-quality, custom itineraries to their wealthy clients.
The Role of Travel Advisors
Travel advisors play a key role in connecting high-net-worth travelers with bespoke travel operators. As the demand for luxury, tailor-made travel rises, advisors are increasingly seeking out suppliers who can provide exceptional, personalized services. Companies like Red Savannah and Pelorus Travel have become trusted partners for advisors, enabling them to offer exclusive travel packages that cater to their clients’ desires for unique and private experiences.
Custom Tours and Luxury Adventure: A Rising Trend
As the U.S. luxury travel segment continues to grow, more travelers are seeking out extraordinary experiences. Luxury adventure providers like Pelorus Travel, which specializes in once-in-a-lifetime experiences such as private yacht charters and exclusive safaris, are seeing the benefits of this trend. The high-net-worth market in the US is increasingly willing to spend on bespoke services that promise exclusivity and luxury.
A New Strategy for U.S. Expansion
Audley Travel, another U.K.-based operator, has also sharpened its focus on US clients. The company has seen a marked rise in trade-driven bookings. With the appointment of a new vice president dedicated to trade and partnerships, Audley plans to further expand its presence in the US market. The company aims to educate American travel advisors on the benefits of offering custom, tailor-made itineraries, which are gaining popularity among luxury travelers looking for an individualized experience.
Building Local Presence
In addition to expanding their offerings, some companies have taken steps to establish a stronger foothold in the U.S. market. Audley Travel and Scott Dunn, another luxury operator, have opened U.S. offices to better serve local clients. Scott Dunn, for example, has offices in New York and California and has hosted several familiarization trips to showcase their unique itineraries to U.S.-based travel advisors.
Exploring Untapped Potential
Untamed Travelling, a custom tour operator specializing in African safaris, is also seeing the potential in the U.S. market. The company, which has primarily focused on direct bookings, is now looking to work more closely with U.S. travel advisors to expand its reach. This shift is part of a broader trend where European-based operators are increasingly recognizing the opportunity in the U.S. travel trade.
What This Means for U.S. Travelers
For U.S. travelers seeking one-of-a-kind experiences, the rise of custom travel operators from Europe offers a wealth of options. Whether it’s a luxury safari in Africa, a villa stay in Italy, or a private yacht charter in the Mediterranean, travelers now have access to highly personalized itineraries designed to suit their preferences. As these operators build stronger relationships with U.S. travel advisors, the availability of tailored, luxury travel experiences is only set to grow.
Final Thoughts
US Market is promising for custom tour operators. The trend for bespoke travel works in favor in marketers. European companies building partnerships with travel advisors in the US is a promising trend. This is best for American travelers with exclusive custom-made travel which is more luxurious than the custom-packaged tours. People who are willing to invest more for the private travel are ideal for working with variety of high-end operators.
Juventus have announced the appointment of Massimo Brambilla as interim manager following the dismissal of Igor Tudor, whose tenure came to an abrupt end after a 1–0 defeat to Lazio extended the club’s winless run to eight matches. The decision, confirmed on October 27, 2025, leaves the Bianconeri sitting in eighth place in Serie A , far below expectations for a team of their stature.
Softfootball earlier reported that Juventus had sacked Igor Tudor. His departure comes just 218 days after replacing Thiago Motta, marking another short-lived chapter in Juventus’ ongoing managerial merry-go-round. According to the club’s official statement, the decision was based on poor results and repeated public complaints, including Tudor’s frustrations over refereeing decisions and fixture congestion, comments that reportedly irritated the board.
In the meantime, Brambilla who has impressed while managing Juventus Next Gen, will step up to lead the senior squad in their upcoming Serie A clash against Udinese. The club emphasized its commitment to continuity and stability, thanking Tudor and his backroom team, Ivan Javorcic, Tomislav Rogic, and Riccardo Ragnacci , for their professionalism and service.

However, attention has already turned to the long-term picture. Reports from transfer expert Fabrizio Romano in a video analysis released on his official YouTube handle suggest that Luciano Spalletti has emerged as the leading candidate for the permanent job. Talks are said to be well underway, with Spalletti expressing full willingness to take over. The veteran coach is reportedly seeking an 18-month contract, though he would accept a shorter deal running until the end of the 2025–26 season with an option to extend.
Watch the video below:
Spalletti’s recent success at Napoli, where he guided the team to the 2023 Scudetto, makes him a strong favourite. Still, Juventus have alternative plans, with Raffaele Palladino and Roberto Mancini also under consideration.
For now, though, it’s Brambilla’s moment, a caretaker spell that could shape Juve’s direction as the club looks to rediscover its edge and restore pride in Turin.
The latest updates suggest that Luciano Spalletti is the current frontrunner to become the new head coach of Juventus following the sacking of Igor Tudor, but how would the former Italy CT line up with the Bianconeri, and which tactics would he look to deploy?
Juventus confirmed the sacking of head coach Tudor on Monday following a run of eight games without a win across Serie A and the Champions League. The Old Lady had also gone four games without scoring. Their last victory came in a 4-3 win over Inter in the Derby d’Italia on September 13.
Several coaches have already been linked with a move to the Allianz Stadium, including Raffaele Palladino and Roberto Mancini, but Spalletti is considered the current frontrunner, and has already been in direct talks with the club.
How Spalletti could line up with Juventus

Spalletti has deployed a number of different formations across his recent spells in charge of the Italy national team, Napoli and Inter.
Most recently, Spalletti played with a 3-5-1-1 during his final matches in charge of the Italy national team, given that he had plenty of midfielders but hardly any options to choose from at centre-forward or on the wings. He had also used a 4-2-3-1 or 4-3-3 in the build-up to and during EURO 2024.
With Napoli, a 4-3-3 built around centre-forward Victor Osimhen and left winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia was the norm during Spalletti’s Scudetto-winning season in 2022-23.
With Inter, a 4-2-3-1 was Spalletti’s usual go-to, and, given the options currently available at Juventus, it would make sense if he deployed that same system in Turin.
Under Tudor, Juventus had often lined up with a back three, but following the injury to Gleison Bremer, the Bianconeri have been left with just four centre-back options to select from, which does not leave them with much cover, or possibilities to rotate.
Given that the current Juventus squad is not blessed with an abundance of central midfield options, it would make sense to see Manuel Locatelli and Khephren Thuram keep their places in a double-pivot.
There would then be several options to deploy in the no.10 role, including posterboy Kenan Yildiz, summer signing Jonathan David and the out-of-favour Teun Koopmeiners, all of whom offer different qualities.

Today’s focus is on the sacking of Igor Tudor by Juventus, who was let go from his role as head coach of the Bianconeri this morning.
The Old Lady suffered a 1-0 defeat to Lazio in the Capital last night and this was the straw that broke the camel’s back for the Juventus coach.

A group of Juventus ultras have expressed their support for recently-sacked head coach Igor Tudor, just a few hours after his departure was officially confirmed by the club: ‘One of us’.
Juventus announced on Monday that they had parted company with head coach Tudor, who had gone eight games without a win in all competitions and four games without a goal, ending with a 1-0 defeat away against Lazio on Sunday evening.
Football Italia understands that the Bianconeri have already been in direct contact with former Italy national team head coach Luciano Spalletti, who is considered the first-choice candidate to replace Tudor at the Allianz Stadium.

Just a few hours after Tudor’s sacking was officially announced, Juventus ultras from the Curva Sud erected a banner outside the Allianz Stadium, expressing their support for the recently-departed Tudor.
“Tudor one of us, the fish stinks from the head,” the banner outside the Juventus stadium read.
Tudor was given a run of 24 competitive matches in charge of Juventus, including his stint as interim head coach at the end of the 2024-25 season. He recorded an average of 1.58 points per game over that period.
Luciano Spalletti is the name at the top of Juventus’s shortlist of potential replacements for Igor Tudor, who was dismissed from his role as head coach on Monday, and Football Italia can reveal that there has now been direct contact between the Bianconeri and the former Italy national team head coach.
Juventus parted company with Tudor on Monday morning following a run of eight games without a win in any competition and a run of four matches without scoring a goal. The Croatian’s final match in charge ended in a 1-0 defeat away against Lazio at the Stadio Olimpico on Sunday evening.
Juventus in direct contact with Spalletti
The latest news is that there has now been direct contact between Spalletti and representatives from Juventus. An intermediary is involved and the club approve of the decision to move forwards in negotiations with Spalletti.

Spalletti has given his full availability to taking over at Juve, and is seeking an 18-month contract. He would, however, be willing to accept a deal until the end of the 2025-26 season with an option to extend for a further year.
Aldredo Pedullà analyses Juventus’ 1-0 loss against Lazio on Sunday, highlighting Igor Tudor’s mistakes, which eventually led to his dismissal, and Maurizio Sarri’s breakthrough.
Tudor’s final game as the Juventus coach saw the Croat tactician make several tactical changes that, in the end, created a hybrid and increased confusion for the players.

Juventus have not scored in the last four games and are without a win since September 13.
On the other hand, Lazio coach Sarri silenced his critics despite having many starters forced to the sidelines and despite having a team without new signings, due to a transfer embargo imposed on the club in the summer.
Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Tottenham and Bayern Munich are showing ‘real interest’ in struggling Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic.
The Serbia international remains Juventus’ best scorer this season with four goals in 11 appearances across all competitions, but has not found the net since September 16.
Last night, he started in a 1-0 loss against Lazio, which marked Juventus’ third consecutive loss and Igor Tudor’s dismissal.

Juventus have not scored in four consecutive matches for the first time since 1991 and have gone eight games without winning for the first time since 2009.
Tudor had replaced Thiago Motta in March 2025, but it would be a mistake to consider him as only responsible for Juventus’ downfall in recent weeks.
Gazzetta noted that Juventus lack high-level players in the team and analysed the Vlahovic case.

“Tudor changes the factors, but the product remains the same,” wrote Gazzetta dello Sport vice-editor Stefano Agresti.
“Juventus haven’t seen similar numbers since the Maifredi era in 1991.
“Vlahovic has lost the magic that had brought him back in harmony with the black-and-white world.

“The Serbian striker neither scores nor helps the team, sending the coach into a tailspin when it comes to choosing the formation and the focal point in attack.
“He could leave in January as Tottenham and Bayern Munich are showing real interest.”
Vlahovic set to leave Juventus in June 2026
Vlahovic’s contract at the Allianz Stadium expires at the end of the season, so the Bianconeri will be willing to listen to offers in the winter transfer window.

Crypto analyst CryptosRus has drawn attention to the open interest reset for XRP. The analyst also explained why this development could spark a major price surge for the altcoin.
XRP’s Open Interest Drops To New Lows
In an X post, CryptosRus revealed that XRP’s open interest on Binance has dropped back to the same lows that were seen in May 2025. The analyst noted that back then, the liquidation flush sparked a massive rally for the altcoin, which pushed it to $3.50. He added that this time around, the open interest is at the floor again, but the price is holding around $2.6.
CryptosRus stated that this means that leverage is gone while the strong hands are still holding XRP. The analyst predicted that if new liquidity enters, this setup could signal the next leg up for the altcoin. He added that rallies usually start when leverage is low, spot demand is strong, and shorts are trapped.
Notably, XRP has witnessed new demand with the launch of the largest XRP treasury company, Evernorth. The company has already accumulated up to $1 billion in XRP with Ripple’s backing and has revealed plans to continue accumulating more, using gains from its DeFi activities. Notably, the company stated that it will purchase XRP on the open market, which is expected to impact the altcoin’s price.
Meanwhile, the SEC is expected to approve the spot XRP ETFs once the U.S. government shutdown ends. This could drive new liquidity into the altcoin, boosting its price. Moreover, experts such as Canary Capital’s CEO Steven McClurg have predicted that the XRP ETFs could see more inflows in their first month than the Ethereum ETFs did.
XRP Is Gearing Up For A ‘Face Melting’ Rally
Crypto analyst Ether stated that XRP is quietly gearing up to melt faces and that most aren’t even aware or ready for what is coming. This came as the analyst alluded to an earlier analysis, in which he revealed that a similar scenario from a previous cycle was playing out for the altcoin.
Ethere stated that XRP’s cyclical structure is showing a striking similarity again. After the altcoin’s rally in 2017, its price was rejected from the 2013 all-time high (ATH) level and then retested the 2014 ATH level, which had previously acted as resistance. XRP then began its parabolic run after it accumulated strength in that range.
Now, this same XRP price action is playing out again, according to Ether. He noted that after the strong surge in 2024, the altcoin’s price was rejected at the 2017 ATH level and retested the 2021 ATH level, which had previously acted as resistance. The analyst added that the power accumulation phase is now underway in this region and that once it is complete, the next parabolic run will be inevitable.
At the time of writing, the XRP price is trading at around $2.63, up in the last 24 hours, according to data from CoinMarketCap.

Juventus have informed Coach Igor Tudor of his sacking following a series of poor results in the 2025/26 season, Softfootball reports.
The Turin giants lost 1-0 to Lazio in Rome on Sunday night which followed their 1-0 defeat against Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions League. A closer look at the domestic form, Tudor has won three matches, drawn three match and lost just two out of eight matches.

According to football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano via his official X handle and in two separate tweets informed that Juventus and Tudor will part ways imminently. He wrote:
Juventus are on the verge of sacking head coach Igor Tudor after recent poor results. The club has decided to change with formal steps to follow on new manager soon.
He added: Igor Tudor has been personally informed about Juventus decision to sack him this morning. Massimo Brambilla will be the interim coach ahead of club’s decision on new manager.
Tudor replaced Thiago Motta as head coach of Juventus. His appointment marked the first time Juventus had appointed a foreign manager since Didier Deschamps in the 2006–07 season. However, he couldn’t deliver what Juventus wanted which has led to his recent sack.
Juventus are current eight on the Serie A table with 12 points after eight matches, six points adrift of league leaders and defending champions Napoli.
Former Juventus president Giovanni Cobolli Gigli believes Igor Tudor has been made a scapegoat by the club and argues the team’s structural problems come from above, after the coach was sacked earlier this week.
Speaking to TMW, the ex-chairman said the situation in Turin is “complicated to explain” and goes well beyond the dugout.

‘Tudor deserved more credit’ – Gigli
Cobolli Gigli insisted Tudor had earned more credit than he was given.
“Tudor proved he was capable of doing good things,” he said.
“He miraculously brought Juventus to fourth last year and he also produced almost glorious performances, like the match against Inter. Something is not working in the club’s mechanisms more than Tudor’s.”
He criticised Juventus’ recent planning and mercato strategy, suggesting the coach was let down rather than supported. “The transfer campaign looked promising, but it turned out to be dysfunctional. The responsibility lies with the club, and the first one to pay is always the coach.”

Juventus should take Mancini over Spalletti – Gigli
Cobolli Gigli also pointed to strained internal dynamics, especially with management. “Tudor has a strong character and likely clashed with Comolli. But I cannot forget he took Juventus in a complicated moment and brought exciting football. I would have kept him, but the club wanted a shock.”
Asked about potential successors, he gave a clear preference: “Between the options, the most relevant name is Mancini – although I have my reservations about him. I would exclude Spalletti.”
He was more cautious on Raffaele Palladino, arguing the former Monza and Fiorentina coach remains “full of good will but without much experience.”
Finally, he dismissed any regret over Thiago Motta, concluding that Juventus must “restart from zero” to win back their identity.
Juventus sacked head coach Igor Tudor today and now the Bianconeri will seek their third permanent head coach appointment since Summer 2024.
In March of this year, Juventus parted ways with Thiago Motta and hired Tudor to replace him and see out the remainder of the 2024-25 season.
The Croatian performed well in the closing stages of the campaign, helping the Bianconeri achieve a top four finish on the final day of the season.

Therefore, and after a string of alternative targets were deemed unattainable, Juventus opted to hand Tudor a new contract on June 13, 2025.
Tudor sacking compounds financial misery for struggling Juventus
After Tudor’s contract extension, Juventus currently have two head coaches, in Tudor and Motta, who are due to collect a salary until 2027, after both of their spells at the helm were cut short prematurely.
This represents a major blunder for the Bianconeri who, when they hire a permanent replacement for Tudor, will technically have the salaries of 3 head coaches on their books for the next two years.
FLORENCE, ITALY – MARCH 16: Head coach Thiago Motta of Juventus looks on during the Serie A match between Fiorentina and Juventus at Stadio Artemio Franchi on March 16, 2025 in Florence, Italy. (Photo by Gabriele Maltinti/Getty Images)
Juventus have seen two gambles on relatively inexperienced coaches fail to pay off. The Bianconeri’s decision to hire Motta and Tudor was born out of good intentions, wanting a younger coach to lead the club into a new golden era, but has shown glaring weaknesses when compared to Conte at Napoli and Gapserini at Roma, for example, two coaches who have been linked with the Bianconeri in the past year.
Ivan Juric says Atalanta must raise their level in every department as they prepare for a crucial clash with Milan, while also expressing sympathy for Igor Tudor after the Croatian coach was sacked by Juventus.
Speaking in his pre-match press conference, Juric opened by reacting to events in Turin. “I feel sorry for Tudor because he was a Juventus man,” he said, with quotes via TuttoMercatoWeb.
“But this is our job. When you have a period where you play well but don’t win, you must improve in every area.”

Atalanta coach Juric: ‘Everything is fine with Carnesecchi’
The coach also addressed his recent public friction with goalkeeper Marco Carnesecchi, insisting the issue is closed. “Everything is absolutely fine,” Juric stressed.
“The words were said in the heat of the moment. I’m very satisfied with his performances.”
Juric confirmed that Marten de Roon’s selection in defence was a deliberate tactical choice and not a stop-gap. “It’s not a surprise,” he said. “He does that role well.”
He also discussed squad fitness, noting that Sead Kolašinac is not yet ready to start, while “Scamacca needs calm, but I’d like to get him playing soon.”

Juric on tough schedule ahead of Milan clash
Despite a run of draws and missed opportunities, Juric remains positive. “We’ve created a lot, but we haven’t turned it into goals. The team is alive. Lookman is fully involved and only missing the finish,” he explained.
Kossounou, meanwhile, is expected to start: “I’m pleased with his progress and I think he will play from the beginning.”
Juric acknowledged the challenge of facing Milan, especially with a demanding schedule. “Playing every 2-3 days is difficult. We analyse things day by day. To contain Milan, we need rhythm and compactness.”
Atalanta have not won in Serie A since September 21, and Tuesday night offers a crucial opportunity to restart their campaign.
Juventus are without a win in eight games and pressure had been mounting on Tudor for some time. Today, the Bianconeri management decided that enough is enough and fired the coach.

Who is Juventus interim coach Brambilla?
Massimo Brambilla will temporarily take the reins for Juventus, but who exactly is the 52-year-old former player?
During his playing career, Brambilla was somewhat of an Italian journeyman, playing for ten different clubs around Italy. He also made several youth appearances for the Azzurri but was never selected to play for the senior Italian national team.
After he retired, in 2010, he spent 12 years working in the youth systems at Pergocrema, Novara and Atalanta.
In 2022, Brambilla was appointed as head coach for the Juventus Next Gen team in Serie C. After two seasons with the Bianconeri B team, Brambilla took over at fellow Serie C outfit Foggia. He spent just a few months at Foggia before being dismissed for poor results in September 2024.
Two months later, he returned as head coach of Juventus Next Gen, where he has remained since. Now, he will get his chance to lead the first team while the club search for a suitable long-term replacement for the fired Tudor.
Multiple sources claim that Luciano Spalletti and Raffaele Palladino are the leading candidates to replace Igor Tudor, who was sacked by Juventus this morning.
Spalletti and Palladino are the frontrunners for the Juventus job, according to various sources, including Fabrizio Romano and Matteo Moretto.

The OnePlus 15 is a direct successor to the OnePlus 13, which initially launched last year around the same time. The initial launch of the OnePlus 15 took place on October 27, while the global model will likely follow next month. The device does look different than its predecessor, as the company did make some notable design changes. Design is not the only thing that changed, here, though.
The new phone is, of course, more powerful overall, which we’ll talk about. It also comes with some changes that people may not be fans of. In any case, in this article, we’ll talk a lot more about the phone, even before its global debut. Once it arrives to global markets, we’ll fill in the gaps and update the information that is relevant to global users. With that being said, let’s get to it.
OnePlus 15 specs
OnePlus’ flagship smartphones bring top-of-the-line specs year-in, year-out. The same is the case here, as this phone is packed with powerful hardware. The Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC from Qualcomm, the company’s new flagship chip, fuels this smartphone. That chip is backed by 12GB/16GB of RAM and 256GB/512GB/1TB of internal storage. Just to be clear, OnePlus is using LPDDR5X RAM here and UFS 4.1 flash storage.
A 165Hz 1.5K AMOLED display is used, along with a 7,300mAh battery
A 6.78-inch AMOLED display sits on the front, with a resolution of 2772 x 1272 (1.5K). That translates to 450 PPI, and an aspect ratio of 20:9. This display goes up to 165Hz, though only during gaming. During regular use, it’ll go from 1-120Hz, as it’s adaptive. The peak brightness is immensely high, well over 4,000 nits, though you’ll never get to that point. The point is, the display is immensely bright when you need it to be.
A 7,300mAh silicon-carbon battery is used here. So, yes, even though the OnePlus 13 had a rather huge battery with plenty of capacity, OnePlus decided to improve upon that quite a bit. The phone jumped from 6,000mAh to 7,300mAh. 120W wired charging is supported (it will be limited to 80W in the US), along with 50W wireless charging. Android 16 comes pre-installed here with ColorOS 16 in China, while OxygenOS 16 will be included in the US.
Three 50-megapixel cameras sit on the back, while the phone is quite durable
There are three 50-megapixel cameras on the back. A 50-megapixel main camera (Sony’s IMX906 sensor, 1/1.56-inch sensor size) OIS, f/1.8 aperture, 84-degree FoV) is backed by a 50-megapixel ultrawide unit (OV50D sensor, 1/2.88-inch sensor size, 6P lens, f/2.0 aperture, 116-degree FoV). A 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera (S5KJN5 sensor, 1/2.76-inch sensor size, 3.5x optical zoom, 4P lens, OIS, f/2.8 aperture, 30-degree FoV) also sits on the back. On the front, you’ll find a 32-megapixel Sony IMX709 camera sensor.
The phone has an in-display fingerprint scanner, an ultrasonic one. An IR blaster is included, as is Bluetooth 6.0. Wi-Fi 7 is, of course, on the table too, as is USB 3.2 Gen 1. There are two nano SIM card slots here, and a charger will be included, at least in some regions. The OnePlus 15 is IP66/IP68/IP69/IP69K certified, which means it has great water and dust resistance, to say the least.
OnePlus announced three color options
The device measures 161.42 x 76.67 x 8.10-8.20mm, while it weighs 211/215 grams, depending on the model. Three color options have been launched in China: Absolute Black, Mist Purple, and Sand Dune
The OnePlus 15 was announced only in China thus far. The phone’s pricing kicks off at CNY3,999 ($561) for the 12GB RAM model with 256GB of storage. It goes up to CNY5,399 ($758) for the 16GB RAM variant with 1TB of storage. Several other models are available in between. We’re expecting only a couple of models globally, though.
Where can I buy the OnePlus 15?
For the time being, the OnePlus 15 is only available to purchase in China. It launched in OnePlus’ homeland only, we’ll have to wait a bit before it makes its way to more markets. Once the global model launches, this section will be updated with new information and purchase links.
What carriers does it work on?
Only the Chinese variant was announced thus far, this section will be updated once the global model arrives.
What colors does the OnePlus 15 come in?
In China, the phone was announced in three color variants, Absolute Black, Mist Purple, and Sand Dune. Those are essentially black, purple, and beige colors. All three colors are rumored to arrive to global markets, though they will have different names, all three of them. At this point, we do know that the ‘Sand Dune’ color will be called ‘Sand Storm’ globally. That part has been officially confirmed, the other two colors, not yet.
What new upgrades does the OnePlus 15 have over the OnePlus 13, and what noteworthy features in general?
The OnePlus 15 is a more powerful smartphone than the OnePlus 13, there’s no doubt about it. Not everything on the phone is an upgrade over its predecessor, however. Well, most things are, but not everything. With that being said, in this section, we’ll highlight the upgrades and what seem to be downgrades. On top of that, we’ll simply highlight the best aspects of the phone itself, in general.
Even more processing power
The Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 from Qualcomm is used to fuel the OnePlus 15. That is Qualcomm’s most powerful chip to date, and a successor to the Snapdragon 8 Elite that is included in the OnePlus 13. There is no monumental difference when compared to the Snapdragon 8 Elite, but it’s better in a number of ways. Not only is it generally more powerful, but it brings upgrades in the GPU, NPU, and connectivity departments. A 23% improvement in GPU performance, 37% faster NPU, and more.
Faster storage
The OnePlus 15 ships with UFS 4.1 flash storage, compared to UFS 4.0 storage inside the OnePlus 13. That may not be something you’ll notice during day-to-day use, but UFS 4.1 is a notable improvement. It is not only faster, but it’s more power efficient too. A number of other improvements are included.
A gigantic battery
OnePlus opted to include a 7,300mAh battery inside the OnePlus 15. That is considerably more battery juice than what the OnePlus 13 delivered. That phone includes a 6,000mAh unit, which is also a silicon-carbon battery. That battery was plenty for that phone, and yet OnePlus decided to take things to a whole other level with the OnePlus 15. We do expect the OnePlus 15 to offer outstanding battery life.
Faster charging (slightly)
The OnePlus 15 supports 120W wired charging, compared to 100W charging on the OnePlus 13. Wireless charging remains the same. The thing is, this phone does include a larger battery, so the charging speed difference likely won’t be noticeable… when it comes to wired charging. Do note that the US will still get 80W wired charging, though.
Better display, even though it may not seem like it
The OnePlus 13 did ship with a sharper display than the OnePlus 15. The thing is, the difference will not be visible, and yet the OnePlus 15’s display is newer, more expensive, and technologically more advanced. It also supports a refresh rate of up to 165Hz for gaming, which is not something the OnePlus 13’s panel offered.
Bluetooth 6.0
The OnePlus 15 ships with Bluetooth 6.0 support, as expected. The OnePlus 13 included Bluetooth 5.4. Bluetooth 6.0 brings a number of improvements, including centimeter-level accuracy through channel sounding. It also brings improved audio latency and quality, and more efficient battery usage with decision-based advertising filtering. A number of other improvements are included.
OxygenOS 16
The OnePlus 15 ships with OxygenOS 16 out of the box. That is the latest version of OnePlus’ Android skin: It is based on Android 16, and it brings a refreshed UI, it’s immensely fast, has new animations, and so on. The thing is, the OnePlus 13 will get this UI as well, so chances are it won’t be much of a difference between the two. The point is, it is here, and it does make a difference.
The camera conundrum
On paper, the OnePlus 15 brings a camera downgrade to the table. It includes three 50-megapixel cameras on the back, with smaller camera sensors than the OnePlus 13. That goes for all three cameras, actually. That camera setup does not look great, in all honesty, but we’ll have to test it out to find out the truth.
What cases are available for the OnePlus 15?
OnePlus has confirmed the Sandstone Magnetic Case, Aramid Fiber Case, and Magnetic Hole Case for the Chinese market. We’re not sure if all of these will make their way to the global markets, but you can check them out below. The first two are kind of self-explanatory. The Sandstone case is a throwback to the original OnePlus smartphone, while the Aramid Fiber case is immensely thin and light. The Magnetic Hole Case brings a level of customization to the table. You can check them all below.

Should I buy the OnePlus 15?
Considering that only the Chinese OnePlus 15 variant has been launched at this point, it’s too early to tell whether the OnePlus 15 will be worth it. The price tag does seem quite appealing, but the smaller camera sensor do worry us. We can’t wait to review the OnePlus 15, however, so wait just a little bit longer while the global model arrives, and we’ll be able to share far more information about the device.
OnePlus has just announced its new flagship smartphone, the OnePlus 15. Do note that this launch took place in China, and it is the initial launch event for the phone. The global launch event is expected to take place next month.
With that being said, we already had a lot of details about the device. Plenty of information surfaced, while OnePlus revealed some info little by little over the last couple of weeks. Most of the information that leaked was also accurate.
The OnePlus 15 is now official with a brand new design
The OnePlus 15 has a brand new design. It is even more boxy than before. The phone features a flat display, a flat backplate, and a flat frame. Its corners are rounded, though, and the same goes for the corners of the phone’s camera island.
Speaking of which, the camera island is no longer round, it is now a square with rounded corners. It looks entirely different and sits in the top-left corner on the back of the phone. There are still three cameras included on the inside, though.
The phone has a centered display camera hole up top, and even thinner bezels than its predecessor. The bezels here measure 1.15mm all around. The phone does include uniform bezels, which means they’re the same thickness on all sides.
The Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip is used, along with a 165Hz AMOLED display
This smartphone is quite powerful, needless to say. It is fueled by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. That is Qualcomm’s most powerful chip to date. It is paired with 12GB/16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 flash storage (up to 1TB). Storage expansion is not supported.
A 6.78-inch AMOLED display sits on the front, with a 1.5K resolution (2772 x 1272). That display goes up to 165Hz, but only during gaming. In regular use, it can go between 1 and 120Hz, as needed. It has high-frequency PWM dimming and gets immensely bright when needed.
OnePlus included a massive 7,300mAh battery here, along with 120W charging
A 7,300mAh silicon-carbon battery is included in the package too. That battery is a lot bigger than the already big unit in the OnePlus 13. 120W wired charging is supported here, along with 50W wireless charging.
There is an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner included too, while Bluetooth 6.0 is supported. The same goes for Wi-Fi 7. Android 16 comes pre-installed on the device, along with ColorOS 16. OxygenOS 16 will be included on the global model. The phone is also IP66/IP68/IP69/IP69K certified for water and dust resistance.
The cameras seem to be a downgrade, at least on paper
There are three 50-megapixel cameras included on the back of the phone. A 50-megapixel main camera (1/1.56-inch sensor size) is backed by a 50-megapixel ultrawide camera (1/2.88-inch sensor size, 116-degree FoV). The third camera is a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto unit (1/2.76-inch sensor size, 3.5x optical zoom). On paper, these cameras do seem like downgrades compared to the OnePlus 13. We’ll have to see if that’s true in actual performance.
The OnePlus 15 measures 161.42 x 76.67 x 8.10-8.20mm, while it weighs 211/215 grams. It comes in Absolute Black, Mist Purple, and Sand Dune colors. They will have different names in markets outside of China.
The device’s pricing starts at CNY3,999 ($561) for the 12GB RAM model with 256GB of storage, while it goes up to CNY5,399 ($758) for the 16GB RAM variant with 1TB of storage.
“Real”ın hücumçusu Vinisius Junior “el klasiko” zamanı əvəzlənməsinə əsəbi reaksiya göstərdiyi üçün klub tərəfindən intizam cəzası ala bilər.
Komanda.az “Mundo Deportivo”-ya istinadən xəbər verir ki, braziliyalı futbolçunun davranışı rəhbərlik tərəfindən ciddi intizam pozuntusu kimi qiymətləndirilir.
Klub daxilində bəziləri onun cəzalandırılmasını tələb edir, digərləri isə məsələni baş məşqçi Xabi Alonso ilə futbolçu arasında şəxsi şəkildə həll etməyin tərəfdarıdır.
Mediada isə artıq baş məşqçi İqor Tudorun qovulduğu xəbərləri yayılıb.
“Yuventus” rəhbərliyi baş məşqçi İqor Tudoru vəzifəsindən azad edib.
Komanda.az xarici KİV-ə istinadən xəbər verir ki, bu barədə insayder Fabrizio Romano sosial şəbəkədə məlumat yayıb.
Turinlilər hazırda A Seriyasının turnir cədvəlində 12 xalla 8-ci pillədə qərarlaşıb.

Owners of the Galaxy Tab S8, Tab S8 Plus, and Tab S8 Ultra are getting Samsung’s Android 16-based One UI 8. The major software’s availability is currently capped to South Korea, but Samsung will soon take it to the Global market.
One UI 8 also brings together the September 2025 security patch, which provides fixes for plenty of CVE and SVE items. Samsung is also rolling out the October patch, but your tablet might receive the December patch next.
You are getting a plethora of new features, design improvements, and performance enhancements. Samsung included specific refinements in One UI 8 for its large-screen devices, such as foldable smartphones and tablets.
The biggest change you will notice is the redesigned Quick Settings and Notification Panel. The two panels have adopted a pretty good design over the One UI 7. The adoption of dynamic blur takes the visual appeal to a whole new level.
System animations and multitasking have been improved further. Samsung DeX is now based on Google’s Desktop Mode, bringing additional features and a more PC-like experience when you connect with a compatible monitor.
Don’t eye the implementation of the Now Brief feature as Samsung had a single wave of expansion that covered 2024 flagships. Meanwhile, Now Bar will gradually support more and more apps and activities for real-time updates.
Head towards your tablet’s Settings, followed by the Software update section. Once done, you should see a button entitled Download and install. Hit the key to force your Galaxy device to connect to the server and begin fetching the OTA.

Lecce lost 3-2 to Udinese at the weekend and are already plotting how to get points from Napoli and has shared information for fans via their official X handle on how to continue to show support to the team and get vital details for the encounter.
Lecce have lost all of their last five home games against Napoli and the defending champions are massive favourites to win this game.
Lecce and Napoli have faced each other 39 times, with Napoli having the advantage: 18 wins, against seven victories for Lecce.
At the Stadio Via del Mare, Napoli has an advantage in the clashes against Lecce: seven wins in 20 games. Lecce has five victories.
In the Italian League, there have been 28 matches between the two teams, with Lecce winning five, nine draws, and 14 victories for Napoli.
Star player
Scott MCTominay is the key man for Napoli and currently the Most Valuable Player in the Serie A after helping the Partenopei win the Serie A last season. No key man for Lecce as the whole team is struggling for form and that is why they are in 16th position on the table
Team News
Lecce are still without injured pair Filip Marchwinski and Gaby Jean, but Riccardo Sottil could recover in time to make the bench.
Francesco Camarda, who is on loan from AC Milan recently became the Salentini’s youngest Serie A scorer, aged 17 years and six months, however, he must compete with Serbian striker Nikola Stulic for a starting spot.

Napoli will be wtout strikers, Romelu Lukaku and Rasmus Hojlund while former Manchester City midfielder Kevin De Bruyne suffered a muscular injury last weekend.
Napol centre-back Amir Rrahmani, midfield fulcrum Stanislav Lobotka are also not available while goalkeeper Vanja Milinkovic-Savic will continue to deputise for Alex Meret.
Brazilian winger David Neres played as a false nine at the weekend, but misfiring striker Lorenzo Lucca may be given a chance to kickstart his campaign against Lecce.
Alessandro Del Piero and Beppe Bergomi got into an argument about Inter on Sunday as the Juventus legend insisted that the Nerazzurri have been ‘the best team in Serie A in the last four years.’
Juventus and Inter legends Del Piero and Bergomi showed diverging opinions on Cristian Chivu’s side on Sunday evening as Sky Sport Italia analysed the latest Serie A weekend, in which the Nerazzurri suffered a 3-1 loss at Napoli.
Inter had complained about a penalty kick that gave Napoli the lead in the first half, but Del Piero and Bergomi did not focus on referee controversies.
Del Piero: Inter the best team in Serie A

“Inter have been the best team in Serie A in the last four years. Others who won instead of them were better, but Inter are the best team,” Del Piero said.
Bergomi, however, didn’t agree: “No, why do they never win games against direct rivals?”
Del Piero replied: “For other reasons, but if you look at the Inter team, it’s undoubtedly better than Napoli, Juventus, Milan and Roma.”
The argument continued with Bergomi, who hit back: “No, Ale. I’ve been saying this for four years.”

The Nerazzurri legend continued: “Remember that those who shout more are not necessarily right…You can raise your voice all the time, and respect what I’m saying, too. Especially because I’ve been saying this for four years, and the results are there. But when they lose, then the others are better. So, who is better? The winners or the losers?”
The Italian World Cup winners were unable to find a common ground.
“I respect it, but what I said is the same, with different words. The better one is the one that wins, the best one is another,” argued Del Piero.
“Inter were able to do certain things and reach certain results, winning titles, cups and reaching Champions League Finals,” concluded Bergomi.
“Even beating clubs like Bayern Munich and Barcelona, who are better than Inter.”
The Nerazzurri have lost three of their opening eight Serie A matches this season and are three points below the leading pair Napoli and Roma.
Sources in Italy claim that Wednesday’s Serie A game against Udinese may end Igor Tudor’s spell at Juventus, regardless of the result, as the Bianconeri have gone eight consecutive games without a win.
Juventus’ 1-0 loss against Lazio on Sunday marked their third consecutive defeat across all competitions, extending the Old Lady’s winless streak to eight games.
The last time Tudor’s men collected all three points was on September 13 against Inter and the Croatian tactician’s job is inevitably under scrutiny.
Will Juventus sack Tudor now?

A new Serie A round is just around the corner, as Week 9 will be played mid-week. Juventus will host Udinese at the Allianz Stadium on Wednesday and according to reports, that could be Tudor’s last game in charge of the Bianconeri.
According to Corriere dello Sport, Tudor might be sacked even if Juventus win, and Gazzetta confirms that the Croat is expected to be given time until the next match.

The pink paper reports on Monday (page 6) that not all Juventus directors are convinced to sack Tudor with immediate effect; therefore, the Croat is expected to sit on the Juventus bench in the next game in just two days.
As for the possible replacements, Italian media mention the same candidates named just a few days ago: Luciano Spalletti, Roberto Mancini, Raffaele Palladino and even Thiago Motta, who was sacked in March 2025, but remains under contract with the club until 2027.
Update: It escalated quickly at the Allianz Stadium, as according to various sources, Juventus have decided to sack Tudor today.

Samsung is expected to launch its most ambitious TriFold sometime in 2025, but the phone might skip the US. A veteran tech leaker has poured cold water on global availability for the first TriFold phone from Samsung.
Leaker EvanBlass revealed the countries in which the Samsung TriFold phone could launch, and it excludes the US. This input renders the previous rumors baseless, which claimed a potential US debut at the initial reveal.
The source expresses skepticism about the global rollout of Samsung’s debut trifold, limiting it to South Korea, the greater Chinese market (including Singapore and Taiwan), and possibly the UAE, despite contrary rumors.
It might be disappointing for the foldable enthusiasts, but Samsung is playing it safe. It would follow the OG Galaxy Fold strategy to bring the product to key Asian markets to experiment with the reliability and sales potential.
Over the past couple of weeks, various rumors have hinted at the potential launch countries of the TriFold smartphone. Beyond that, Samsung is rumored to introduce its new form-factor device at the APEC summit 2025.
Even though the US has become a solid market for Samsung’s foldable phones, the first TriFold may skip the launch stateside. Higher costs of the triple foldable display and supply chain challenges could be the key reasons.
Meanwhile, it’s also likely that the device will initially be available in select markets, with gradual expansion may take it to the United States. Well, it depends completely on the supply chain and what Samsung has planned.
Flight disruptions have caused a temporary closure at Los Angeles International and restrictions at both Boston Logan and Las Vegas Harry Reid Airports. These issues stem from significant air traffic staffing shortages due to the ongoing government shutdown. As the shutdown continues, fewer air traffic controllers are available, leading to delays, cancellations, and limited operations at these major airports. Los Angeles International experienced a full closure for a short period, while Boston Logan and Las Vegas Harry Reid Airports have implemented restrictions on certain flights. These disruptions have created a ripple effect, impacting travelers and flight schedules. The staffing shortages are straining the system across U.S., with controllers overwhelmed by the demand. Passengers are advised to stay informed and check their flight statuses regularly as these delays and restrictions may continue until the government shutdown is resolved.
Temporary Ground Stop at LAX Due to Staffing Shortages
On Sunday, flights to Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) were briefly halted after a staffing shortage at a Southern California air traffic control facility. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) implemented a temporary ground stop, holding flights bound for LAX at their originating airports starting at 11:42 AM Eastern Time. The ground stop lasted for about two hours before being lifted at 1:30 PM Eastern Time.
This disruption at LAX highlights the growing concern over air traffic controller shortages in key U.S. airports. The FAA also reported staffing-related delays in Chicago, Washington D.C., and Newark, New Jersey. With the federal government shutdown continuing, air traffic controllers are working without pay, exacerbating the strain on the system. U.S. Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy warned that these staffing issues could lead to more flight delays and cancellations in the coming days.
Seasonal Restrictions at Boston Logan International Airport
Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) is facing its own set of challenges due to staffing shortages. In addition to general staffing issues, the airport has imposed seasonal restrictions on non-scheduled transient general aviation (GA) aircraft. From April 15 to October 31, pilots of non-scheduled GA aircraft must submit a prior permission request (PPR) to land at BOS. Additionally, these aircraft are limited to a maximum of two days on the ground.
These restrictions are a response to increased air traffic and construction projects at the airport. As staffing shortages continue to impact air traffic control, the PPR system helps manage the flow of aircraft and reduce congestion. Pilots are advised to plan ahead and contact the airport at least 24 hours in advance for approval to land during this restricted period.
Temporary Restrictions at Las Vegas Harry Reid International Airport
Las Vegas Harry Reid International Airport (LAS) has also implemented temporary restrictions on non-scheduled transient GA aircraft. Since November, the airport has required pilots to submit a prior permission request (PPR) 24 hours before arriving at the airport. This restriction will remain in effect until April of the following year.
The restriction is intended to help the airport manage traffic and resources more effectively, especially during peak travel times. As with BOS, the goal is to ensure that air traffic flows smoothly and safely despite the ongoing staffing shortages in air traffic control. Pilots intending to operate into LAS are encouraged to contact the airport at least a day in advance to obtain the necessary approval.
FAA’s Response to Staffing Crisis
The FAA’s response to staffing shortages has been reactive, with temporary ground stops, delays, and restrictions becoming more common across various U.S. airports. U.S. Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy explained that the shutdown has led to an increasing number of air traffic controllers calling in sick due to financial stress. Duffy noted that staffing triggers—when the number of available controllers falls below a critical threshold—are becoming more frequent. He added that this indicates the controllers are beginning to feel the pressure of working without pay for an extended period.
The FAA has been working to manage these issues by issuing temporary ground stops and implementing restrictions to help maintain safety and efficiency at affected airports. However, with the ongoing shutdown, the situation remains uncertain, and the risk of further delays and disruptions continues to rise.
What Travelers Can Expect Across U.S. Airports
Travelers flying into major U.S. airports like LAX, BOS, and LAS should expect more disruptions, including delays and cancellations, as the staffing shortages continue to affect air traffic operations. With air traffic controllers under increased stress and working without pay, passengers are advised to stay updated on their flight statuses and allow extra time for potential delays.
Airlines are working closely with the FAA to minimize the impact on travelers, but the ongoing staffing issues make the situation unpredictable. Travelers are encouraged to check their flight status regularly and remain in contact with their airlines for any necessary updates or rebooking options.
Conclusion: A Challenging Time for Air Travel
The air traffic disruptions at LAX, BOS, and LAS are a stark reminder of the ongoing challenges in U.S. aviation. With the federal government shutdown continuing, air traffic controllers are dealing with unprecedented levels of stress, leading to staffing shortages that are disrupting flights across the country. As the situation develops, travelers should be prepared for further delays and cancellations.
As the shutdown continues, the ability of air traffic controllers to manage the flow of air traffic will remain uncertain, and the impact on air travel could worsen. Passengers should plan ahead, stay informed, and remain flexible in case of further disruptions.
Toma Basic scored the only goal in Rome as Lazio defeated Juventus 1-0 in the Match-day 8 of the Italian Serie A on Sunday night, Softfootball reports.
The home side took an early advantage when Toma Bašić pounced on a mistake by new signing Jonathan David to give Lazio the lead.
However, David almost made up for his earlier error when he collected a pass from Teun Koopmeiners but Lazio’s goalkeeper, Ivan Provedel rushed off his line to parry his dinked.
In the second half, the Old Lady star player Kenan Yildiz replaced Cambiaso as Juve looked for a way back in the game. The switch in formation almost paid off as Kelly slammed a powerful shot off the crossbar from 12 yards after receiving an assist from Yildiz.
Former Arsenal midfielder, Matteo Guendouzi who made his 100th appearance for Lazio was strong in midfield and atimes at the center of controversial moments but his tenacity paid off as he helped his side defend their 1-0 lead until the final whistle.
Juventus are still above Lazio on the Serie A table but the points difference is just one. The Old Lady’s are currently placed eighth with eight points while Lazio sit 10th with seven points after eight matches so far this season.
Alessandro Del Piero insists Igor Tudor is ‘not the problem’ at Juventus and ‘it’s not as if with another coach this squad would win the Scudetto.’
The Bianconeri are now in a full-blown crisis after three consecutive defeats against Como, Real Madrid and Lazio, going 394 minutes without scoring a goal.
They are on their longest winless streak in all competition since 2009, as after five draws in a row between Serie A and the Champions League, they lost three on the bounce.
Del Piero takes Juventus blame off Tudor

With Tudor continually chopping and changing the line-up and tactics, is there too much confusion on the bench?
“The team was alive and did not deserve to lose tonight, perhaps a draw was the right result. They weren’t bad against Madrid either, the problem was the performance against Como.
“In any case, it’s not as if with another coach this team would win the Scudetto.”

Another issue that he did not necessarily put the blame on Tudor for was the absence of a core to this side.
“He doesn’t yet have a first choice XI, but it’s not because Tudor doesn’t want to find it, it’s because aside from a few individuals, the others have struggled to perform consistently.
“If you look at the best teams in Italy and Europe, they more or less all have a regular XI that will start the big games.”
Mattia Perin urged Juventus to stay united and rediscover their identity after a damaging 1-0 defeat away to Lazio, a result that deepens the pressure on Igor Tudor and extends the Bianconeri’s winless run.
Speaking to DAZN after the match, with quotes via TuttoMercatoWeb, the goalkeeper did not hide his frustration and admitted Juventus are far from the standard expected of them.

Juventus goalkeeper Perin: ‘We feel sadness and frustration’
Perin stressed that the mood in the dressing room is one of disappointment rather than resignation. “We feel a lot of sadness and frustration,” he said.
“We train well during the week, but we’re not showing that in matches. It’s difficult to find a single answer, but we must stay united and compact, because right now we are not proving to be at the level we should be.”
The 31-year-old confirmed he knew in advance he would start in place of Michele Di Gregorio, but said personal satisfaction means little in the current situation. “I already knew before Madrid that I would play,” Perin revealed.
“But I can’t be happy when results aren’t coming. We believe in the coach’s ideas, and emotionally we like what he transmits to us. It’s difficult to understand why things aren’t working, but I’m sure we’ll raise our level.”

Perin: ‘We have to desire to get out of this’
Perin also described a post-match discussion between the squad and Tudor aimed at stopping the slide. “We spoke to understand why these defeats are happening,” he explained.
“There is the desire from everyone to get out of this as soon as possible. Fortunately, we play again in three days and that could help us turn this moment around.”
Juventus, once heralded for resilience and clarity of purpose, now find themselves looking for basic reference points. Their next match will already feel like a crossroads – not for the table, but to prove they still have a pulse.
Lazio emerged as 1-0 victors over Juventus this evening as the pressure continues to pile on Bianconeri head coach Igor Tudor.
A goal from midfielder Toma Basic was enough to secure the three points for Maurizio Sarri’s side, whilst his counterpart faces increasingly demanding questions about his suitability at the helm of Juventus.

For Igor Tudor, an initially strong start to the season has quickly eroded and now it seems as though his days are numbered in Turin.
Grim night of stats for Tudor and Juventus
Juventus have had an unfortunately record-breaking evening.
As per Opta, it is the first time that the Old Lady have gone four games consecutively, in all competitions, without scoring, since 1991.
Furthermore, it is the Bianconeri’s longest winless streak since 2009 when Claudio Ranieri was in charge.

To add insult to injury, it was Lazio’s fastest goal against Juventus since Giuseppe Favalli’s third-minute goal in March 1996.
Overall, a dismal evening for Juventus as Tudor continues to break records, for all the wrong reasons.
Maurizio Sarri admits he was ‘surprised’ by the level of performance from Toma Basic and Gustav Isaksen against Juventus, but Lazio have been on the right track for a while.
The Aquile were in dire need of a boost and received it with Basic firing in after Danilo Cataldi gratefully received the poor Jonathan David back pass.
Both sides were angry about the refereeing of Andrea Colombo, as Weston McKennie was very fortunate to avoid a second yellow card, while VAR did not intervene when Mario Gila appeared to stamp on Francisco Conciecao’s foot inside the penalty area.
Nuno Tavares, Matteo Cancellieri, Taty Castellanos, Nicolò Rovella, Samuel Gigot and Fisayo Dele-Bashiru were out of action, so it was a remarkable victory in the circumstances.
Sarri had already seen Lazio improvement

“We suffered, but not really that much today, so we played with sacrifice, but also quality. I am happy for the players and for our fans,” Sarri told DAZN Italia.
Basic had been cut from the Lazio squad list at the start of the season and put on the transfer market, but was welcomed back only due to the injury crisis, and quickly became a key figure in their midfield.
“He had rather lost his way and was left off the squad list, but we needed him and he did really well to step up,” noted Sarri.
“I think he has really grown in terms of character and is giving us a big hand at the moment. We all thank him for that.”

Another player who had been out for a while was Isaksen, who spent much of the summer locked away with glandular fever for fear of being contagious to his teammates.
“You could tell in training that he was improving his fitness levels, but frankly not to this degree. His performance today was a surprise for us too,” confessed Sarri.
Lazio are now unbeaten in four, having defeated Genoa and Juventus, interrupted by stalemates against Torino and Atalanta.
They are just one point behind Juventus in the Serie A standings now and have a midweek round with Pisa coming up.

“Missing an average of seven players per game, we’ve put together eight points in four matches, so the team has been doing well for a month, not just tonight,” insisted the coach.
He was asked how the meeting had gone with President Claudio Lotito and director of sport Angelo Maria Fabiani this week.
“I have no problems with the President or the director of sport. If something was written otherwise, then that is fake news. It was a perfectly normal meeting.”
Jonathan David made his first start alongside Dusan Vlahovic today, but it was his poor header back that sparked the Lazio goal, handing it straight to Danilo Cataldi for Toma Basic to fire in from outside the area.
Tudor evidently wasn’t happy, as within 10 minutes he had Filip Kostic warming up and was shouting at Cambiaso, who was eventually replaced at half-time.

“Kostic was warming up because I saw Cambiaso was not doing well, but in general the team had the right attitude from the start, apart from Johnny’s error and that goal,” Tudor told DAZN Italia.
“It is a bad moment, a difficult moment, we need to stay united and all work together. There is disappointment, because I think we prepared it the right way, but we are always missing something. We get to the penalty area and then don’t put the ball in the net.
“We also keep telling ourselves don’t make mistakes, but there is always a mistake, and we lose games. We feel terrible, but we have to stick together.”

Their biggest problem would seem to be clear, as this was Juve’s fourth consecutive match without scoring a goal, something they hadn’t seen since March 1991 under legendary flop Gigi Maifredi.
“We tried with two strikers from the start, then four attacking players, we tried everything, but are certainly missing something upfront,” confessed Tudor.
The Bianconeri are now without a victory in eight competitive games, having drawn five in a row, followed by three consecutive defeats to Como, Real Madrid and Lazio, their longest negative streak since May 2009.
“We are all responsible. We must try to do better and stay united, we have another game in a couple of days, I think a victory will get us on the right track. It’s a problem if we need four strikers to score and 10 midfielders when defending. It is a problem if someone always makes a mistake.
“As I said, there’s no need to make a drama out of it, we play again soon and need to stay focused.”
Tudor had tried to change things today with Vlahovic and David together, plus Francisco Conceicao out wide, then added Kenan Yildiz at half-time too.
“It was a decision because Kenan needed rest. Johnny and Dusan have goals in their blood, but we put the crosses in and in the final third someone has to put it in the net, otherwise nothing happens and you get punished for every tiny error at the back.”

Cambiaso swapped places with Weston McKennie after 25 minutes, putting the USMNT player in the attacking wing-back role.
“I saw Andrea was struggling with Isaksen and when attacking we wanted him to cover the whole wing, but I didn’t like the way Andrea was interpreting the role. McKennie can cover the wing and Andrea can be a mezz’ala, so I swapped them.”
Juventus have repeatedly said they are backing Tudor, but how long can the coach realistically continue with such poor results, especially as they seem to be deteriorating rather than improving?
“People keep asking me if I feel safe or worried, but I don’t think about myself. I don’t care about my future, what I care about is doing what I can, being aware of all the problems and trying to improve things. My future is of zero interest.”
Lazio defeated Juventus 1-0 at the Stadio Olimpico this evening, with Croatian midfielder Toma Basic scoring the only goal. After the game, the match winner urged his side to remain focused, as the “table remains very tight”, whilst captain Mattia Zaccagni hailed the victory as an “extraordinary game.”
The Biancocelesti needed a boost after back-to-back stalemates with Torino and Atalanta, so they were grateful when Jonathan David’s misplaced back pass was intercepted by Danilo Cataldi, setting up Basic for the early goal.
They held on to the lead from there, although both teams were angry with the officiating of referee Andrea Colombo.
Weston McKennie was very fortunate not to receive a second yellow card for his foul on Matteo Guendouzi, while Mario Gila appeared to tread on Francisco Conceicao’s boot inside the penalty area moments later.

Lazio captain Zaccagni: ‘An extraordinary game’
“It was an extraordinary game in every way, we faced this with humility and character, we remained united during difficult moments, and at times managed to play good football too,” Zaccagni told DAZN Italia.
“Toma has to be seen as an example, because even when he was left out of the squad list, he trained with real humility and made sure he was ready. He’s a great professional. Now we look to Thursday’s game against Pisa, because we are still lagging behind in the league and want to climb further up.”

Basic: ‘I feel happy but exhausted’
Basic was not even on the Lazio squad list going into this season, as he was on the transfer market and failed to find a new club.
He was brought back into the fold due to an injury crisis, and has since become a key figure in the midfield, starting every match and even scoring tonight’s decisive goal.
“I feel happy, but also exhausted, because the whole team gave our all to the very end. I don’t want to talk about me, there’s no time for euphoria, because the table remains very tight, so there are other games where we must give 100 per cent in the same way,” Basic told DAZN Italia.
“I don’t know if people think I was somewhere else, but I was always training with the team and working with them throughout.”
Best Lazio player: Isaksen – After an inconsistent start to the campaign, the Dane really came to life today and was a constant menace for the Juventus defence to reckon with. He was fouled a number of times, testament to his agility and dribbling down the flank.
Lowest Lazio Rating: Dia – Makes Lazio miss Castellanos more but fortunately his side were still able to win the three points despite another tame and biteless performance.

Coach: Sarri 7 – Set up well against a strong Juventus and did just enough to secure the three points. His side are showing more signs of settling back into his tactical demands and the coach will be delighted with a huge victory against a top club.
Juventus: Perin 6; Kalulu 6, Gatti 5.5 (Joao Mario N/A), Lloyd Kelly 5.5,;Cambiaso 6 (Yildiz 6); Conceicao 6.5, Koopmeiners 6 (Thuram 6), Locatelli 6.5, McKennie 5.5 (Openda N/A); Vlahovic 5.5, David 5
Best Juventus player: Conceicao – Despite not being able to get his team a point, the Portuguese winger was effective in his duties this evening. Potentially should have been awarded a penalty after a foul from Mario Gila in the box and was fairly lucid in an otherwise tame performance from the Bianconeri.

Lowest Juventus rating: David – Involved in a goal tonight, but not in the way he would’ve liked. At fault for Lazio’s opener, the Canadian struggled to redeem himself and was eventually hooked just after the hour mark. Life has not started well for the former Lille man in Turin.
Coach: Tudor 5 – Showing the signs of a coach under immense pressure, Tudor took risks today and they failed to pay off. His front two of Vlahovic and David continue to struggle to develop any sort of chemistry together and his decision to bring on Kenan Yildiz at half-time was too little too late.
Juventus fell to a third consecutive defeat in all competition, as Toma Basic made the most of Jonathan David’s error for a Lazio victory, but both sides were furious with controversial refereeing.
The Bianconeri were without a win in seven competitive games, fresh from back-to-back defeats to Como and Real Madrid. Kenan Yildiz was struggling with a knee issue, so was rested with Gleison Bremer, Juan Cabal, Arek Milik and Carlo Pinsoglio injured, but Jonathan David formed a new partnership with Dusan Vlahovic and Mattia Perin took the gloves. Maurizio Sarri had to do without Nuno Tavares, Matteo Cancellieri, Taty Castellanos, Nicolò Rovella, Samuel Gigot and Fisayo Dele-Bashiru, so Gustav Isaksen got his first start of the season after recovering from glandular fever.

Isaksen squirmed between three to pull back at the by-line, forcing Federico Gatti into a panicked clearance from five yards, and the deadlock was broken soon after.
David got his back-pass header completely wrong, giving it straight to Danilo Cataldi, and Toma Basic saw his strike from outside the area deflected off Gatti to totally wrong-foot Perin.
Andrea Cambiaso’s cushioned volley from a Francisco Conceicao cross hit the side-netting at the back post, but Juve almost paid for another howler.
It was Manuel Locatelli this time who laid it off for Matteo Guendouzi on the edge of the box, forcing a Gatti block in front of goal, then Lloyd Kelly charging down the Isaksen follow-up.
David almost made up for his earlier error when running onto an inspired Teun Koopmeiners pass, but Ivan Provedel rushed off his line to parry the dinked finish.

Francisco Conceicao also blasted over from a promising position, then whipped in a cross that Vlahovic scuffed from 12 yards.
Kenan Yildiz replaced Cambiaso for the restart in a very attacking Juve formation, but Vlahovic’s blushes were spared by the offside flag for Kelly after firing onto the crossbar from 12 yards on his assist.
Locatelli’s strike was smothered by Provedel and Weston McKennie was fortunate not to receive a second yellow card in the space of three minutes, as referee Andrea Colombo didn’t even give a foul for his barge on Guendouzi.

There was even more controversy on the hour mark when Mario Gila appeared to tread on Conceicao’s foot, but the referee waved play on and VAR did not intervene for a penalty either.
Boulaye Dia tested Perin at the base of the near post after squirming between two, while Vlahovic nodded McKennie’s cross wide and Kenan Yildiz at full stretch couldn’t get control of the Pierre Kalulu ball over the top.
Provedel flew to palm away the Khephren Thuram header on a corner, but Isaksen sprinted from midfield, cut inside and bent a left-foot finish just past the far post.
Pedro blasted wide with his first touch on a Zaccagni pull-back and in stoppages Gila threw himself in the path of a Locatelli scorcher from the edge of the box.
After refereeing controversy in Napoli’s 3-1 win over Inter, tonight’s game between Lazio and Juventus has also had several key incidents that continue to shine negative light on officiating in Serie A.
The first major incident involved a potential second yellow card that should have been shown to Juventus midfielder Weston McKennie.

The American, who was already on a booking after an earlier incident, brought down Matteo Guendouzi in midfield, with the Biancocelesti urging the referee to issue the Juventus man with a red card.
However, Colombo kept his cards in his pocket and decided not to dismiss the Bianconeri midfielder.
Colombo & Assistants Miss Penalty Call in Lazio vs Juventus
The second incident involved a potential penalty for Juventus, after Mario Gila was judged to have stood on the foot of Bianconeri winger Francisco Conceicao.
The Juventus man went down and Gila immediately looked sheepish, anticipating a spot-kick for the visitors.

However, after VAR review, the referee’s on-field decision stood and no penalty was given.

The Canada international was meant to make an impact on the goals in this game in a new partnership with Dusan Vlahovic, but he ended up being the provider at the wrong end.

Lazio punish a poor Juventus header as Toma Bašić puts the hosts in front
Lazio President Claudio Lotito insists they ‘have what it takes to turn this around’ after a rough start to the season, as Maurizio Sarri’s men host Juventus.
The injury crisis keeps getting worse for the Biancocelesti, who go into tonight’s match without Nuno Tavares, Matteo Cancellieri, Taty Castellanos, Nicolò Rovella, Samuel Gigot and Fisayo Dele-Bashiru.
Fans are losing patience and there has been criticism of the way the team has been constructed.

“Constructive criticism is right when results aren’t arriving, even if for a series of reasons that are beyond our control, but it is a team sport and we must all work in the same direction,” Lotito told DAZN Italia.
“I am convinced it is dictated by a series of imponderable factors that completely changed the results we expected. I urge everyone to have faith, because we are building a solid club, we are continuing the process of taking over the Stadio Flaminio and building the new training ground.”
Lazio were unable to make any new signings over the summer, as after failing three different financial stress tests, they received a transfer embargo.
Coach Sarri admitted he was unaware of this when accepting the job, and would’ve walked away from any other club but Lazio.

Will Lotito at least be able to promise reinforcements in the January transfer window?
“I have a rapport of respect and affection with Sarri, there is no clashing of roles, as everyone wants what is best for the club and the fans. The club was prevented from acting over the summer, we are ready to do whatever is necessary,” replied the President.
“I’ve never seen so many injuries and other situations that penalised us. We understand the mood of the fans, who are passionate about this side and feel upset when certain results are not achieved. There is sadness, irritation and at times criticism, but always remember unity is strength, we have what it takes to turn this situation around.
“If we stick together, the players, club, staff and fans, then you’ll see we will get great results.”

“I believe a system must be watched over, but not destabilised. There is a new generation of referees and when things don’t work, we need to point it out, but only trying to make it better, otherwise we risk making the situation worse. We need utmost transparency to bring through a generational shift of referees,” noted Lotito.
Juventus technical director Francois Modesto insists they ‘have a lot of faith’ in coach Igor Tudor, and are confident Lois Openda and Jonathan David will flourish eventually.
The trip to Lazio kicks off at the Stadio Olimpico at 19.45 GMT.
The pressure is growing on the Old Lady after a dire run of nine competitive matches without a victory, including back to back defeats to Como and Real Madrid.
“Igor is our coach, we are very happy with him, have a lot of faith in his work, and want to focus on getting the win this evening,” Modesto told DAZN Italia.
New Juventus faces struggling to make their mark

David and Openda have struggled to make any kind of impact since their transfers to Juventus, so how long will it take for them to flourish in this new league?
“It is a very difficult league in Italy, there are some very well-organised coaches and teams, which makes it tough for those who come here from other divisions. If we look to the past, we’ll see many great champions who struggled at the beginning in Serie A,” warned Modesto.
“The positive thing is that they have settled well into the group, and of course they have always scored lots of goals in their careers, so we think it’s just a matter of time. We hope that they will start scoring from tonight.”

Dusan Vlahovic starts tonight and is still taking a strong role at Juventus, despite the fact he has refused to sign a new contract and will be a free agent at the end of the season.
“There are absolutely no issues. Dusan is a great professional, a leader of this team, he is helping David and Openda off the field too, and we are very happy,” added Modesto.
“We have leaders in this squad, like Bremer who unfortunately is injured, Gatti and Kenan Yildiz, so we have no lack of leaders.”
Teun Koopmeiners was a big investment at over €50m from Atalanta last summer, but never quite lived up to those expectations, and made comments on playing in his preferred role.
“Koopmeiners works hard, he had difficulties like many who first come to Juve, but he is improving, the coach has put him in a few different positions, and we hope he can show what he has always done with Atalanta and in some games at Juventus,” concluded the director.
Juventus try to end their nine-match winless streak with Dusan Vlahovic and Jonathan David together, leaving Kenan Yildiz on the bench, as Lazio look to Mattia Zaccagni and Boulaye Dia.

It is a poor period of form for the Bianconeri, who are without a single victory in nine games between Serie A and the Champions League.
There were at least improvements in the performance when falling 1-0 to Real Madrid midweek, but Igor Tudor reshuffles the squad against his former club.
Some of those decisions are forced upon him, as Kenan Yildiz is struggling with a knee issue and finally gets some rest.
Gleison Bremer, Juan Cabal, Arek Milik and Carlo Pinsoglio are still out of action, but Manuel Locatelli and Francisco Conceicao return to the starting XI.
The biggest change is having two centre-forwards together, Vlahovic and David, while Mattia Perin makes his return in goal.

Lazio have their fair share of problems too, as although they are unbeaten in three, that included back-to-back stalemates against Torino and Atalanta.
Maurizio Sarri has a crowded treatment room, missing Nuno Tavares, Matteo Cancellieri, Taty Castellanos, Nicolò Rovella, Samuel Gigot and Fisayo Dele-Bashiru.
Having to make do, Adam Marusic and Manuel Lazzari are the full-backs, with Toma Basic going from unwanted player to permanent midfield presence.

Passenger traffic growth at Luis Muñoz Marin International Airport (SJU) slowed markedly in the third quarter of 2025, with latest data from Grupo Aeroportuario del Sureste (ASUR) showing a modest 1.1 percent year-over-year increase. The airport registered 3.35 million passengers for Q3, representing the slowest quarterly growth in recent years despite the island’s continued post-pandemic tourism recovery.
A closer look at the numbers reveals a sharp divergence between international and domestic travel. While international arrivals to San Juan soared by 11.7 percent compared to Q3 2024, domestic passenger growth, primarily from the US mainland, was virtually flat at just 0.5 percent. This deceleration in domestic demand marks a pivotal shift for Puerto Rico, which had previously enjoyed robust growth on the strength of affordable flights and high mainland US visitor volume.
Breaking Down the Numbers: Domestic vs. International
ASUR’s quarterly report attributes the overall airport growth to ongoing strength in international tourism. As prices and frequency of Caribbean flights from US gateways have normalized post-pandemic, Puerto Rico’s competitive advantage in airfares may be waning, nudging more travelers to explore alternative destinations or direct international routes.
For the third quarter, the figures reveal:
Total SJU traffic: Over three million passengers (up 1.1 percent YoY)
International traffic: 11.7 percent increase over Q3 2024
Domestic traffic: 0.5 percent increase over Q3 2024
Year-to-date, the airport has handled over 9.75 million passengers, a 5.2 percent rise compared to the same period in 2024, a pace that still places San Juan among the top-performing Caribbean gateways, but signals a tapering after several quarters of double-digit growth.
Economic and Tourism Implications for Puerto Rico
The dip in domestic growth is especially notable for Puerto Rico’s tourism industry, as the US mainland market historically constitutes the bulk of vacation arrivals, MICE events, and VFR (visiting friends and relatives) travel. For most of the past five years, inexpensive airfares and a broad airline network gave Puerto Rico a distinct edge over neighboring Caribbean destinations.
However, with international carriers ramping up service and competitive pricing to other islands, travelers are finding attractive deals to destinations such as Jamaica, the Bahamas, and the Dominican Republic. The relatively stable, modest increase in US passenger volume suggests Puerto Rico may face greater competition for regional tourism dollars in the coming quarters.
Factors Behind the Slowdown: Pricing, Competition, and Recovery
Industry analysts indicate that the flat domestic results can be traced to:
Wider availability of low-cost and direct international flights across the Caribbean and Latin America
Wave of new air service and promotional efforts by regional competitors
Adjustments in travel patterns as North American consumers seek value and unique experiences in the wake of record post-pandemic demand
Potential air capacity or schedule constraints affecting some US routes during the summer and early autumn window
While the island’s international numbers remain robust, supported by both grand events and an increase in European and Latin American connections, the relative stalling in mainland travel bears close attention for the island’s economic planners.
Forward Look: Fourth Quarter Bookings and Long-Term Tourism Trends
Puerto Rico’s tourism authorities are monitoring Q4 2025 booking curves closely, as the winter high season is critical for both the island’s hospitality sector and broader economy. Airport and travel operators anticipate new marketing campaigns, expanded route offerings, and potential fare incentives geared to recapture some of the domestic volume that has plateaued.
Discover Puerto Rico, the island’s destination marketing organization, highlights efforts to maintain momentum by targeting new visitor segments, promoting extended stays, and reinforcing the unique “no-passport-needed” advantage for US travelers.
At the same time, the surge in international traffic is welcome news, reflecting Puerto Rico’s growing appeal as a culturally rich, accessible hub for the Americas. The island remains the busiest Caribbean airport by passenger volume and a benchmark for post-pandemic tourism resilience.
Regional and Industry Ripple Effects
San Juan’s passenger growth trajectory serves as a barometer for broader Caribbean tourism trends. With competitive pricing, new route launches, and evolving consumer behavior driving regional dynamics, Puerto Rico’s performance is likely to influence airline and tour operator strategies across the market. Neighboring destinations are also leveraging their own competitive edges in air connectivity and value to attract a greater share of American and international travelers.
Continued adaptation and market diversification will be key for Puerto Rico to sustain its status as a dominant Caribbean getaway, both for leisure and business segments.
Sergej Milinkovic-Savic had been linked with a return to Serie A, above all for Juventus, but the ex-Lazio midfielder has renewed his contract with Al-Hilal.
The official announcement came from the Saudi Pro League side today, confirming what had been reported by our Sportitalia colleague Gianluigi Longari on October 17, who knew the rumours of an Italian comeback were unlikely to come true.
Milinkovic-Savic always a tough candidate for Juventus

It would’ve been a tough move to make work for a number of reasons, none more so than the head-spinning salary the Serbian commands at Al-Hilal.
He has also been reunited at the club with coach Simone Inzaghi, who had already worked with him closely during their time together at Lazio.
Milinkovic-Savic was one of the first to truly believe in the ambitious projects in Saudi Arabian football, and the investments continue to keep building those plans.
Juventus did have a real chance of tempting him before the move to Al-Hilal was made, but had to surrender when faced with the sheer figures on offer.

Juventus are due to take on Lazio at the Stadio Olimpico in Serie A on Sunday evening, but pre-match reports indicate that Igor Tudor will have to do without starman Kenan Yildiz in his starting line-up. Here’s why.
Yildiz potentially out of Lazio vs. Juventus?
Juventus, who have not won in any competition since September 13, are looking to get back to winning ways in a difficult away game against Lazio at the Stadio Olimpico.
Yildiz, who has started in every one of Juventus’s Serie A and Champions League matches so far this term, is expected to drop out of the starting line-up, however.

According to reports from Ilbianconero, Yildiz is suffering with patellar tendinopathy, sometimes referred to as jumper’s knee in his left leg. This is effectively an inflammation that affects the tendon beneath the kneecap.
This is a manageable condition, but one that can cause occasional pain and discomfort, hence why Yildiz is expected to drop out of the starting line-up against Lazio, in an attempt to recover and go again at full strength against Udinese on Wednesday.
Juventus have been taking positive steps forwards in their attempts to hand a new contract extension to star attacker Kenan Yildiz, who has been subject of interest from some of Europe’s biggest clubs over the last few weeks, including Real Madrid.
Yildiz, Juve’s posterboy and star of the Turkey national team at the age of 20, has been in talks over a new contract extension, which is expected to come with a significant increase in salary, reflective of his recent performances in Serie A and the Champions League.
Yildiz is already tied to the club until the summer of 2029, but is expected to pen a one-year extension until 2030 with a salary offer that will make him one of the highest earners within the squad.

Juventus are also hoping that a new contract will also fend off interest from the likes of Real Madrid, who are reportedly prepared to offer staggering fees in order to sign Yildiz from the Bianconeri.
As per La Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus have taken ‘positive steps’ towards a contract extension for Yildiz in recent days.

The player’s mother and father, along with his agent, have been called into Continassa to discuss Yildiz’s future with general manager Damien Comolli over the last week.
La Gazzetta dello Sport claims that Juventus are prepared to offer Yildiz a salary in the region of €5m to €6m per season, which will make one of the highest earners in the current Juventus squad. Only the recent free agent Jonathan David and fellow centre-forward Dusan Vlahovic earn above the €6m-per-season mark in net salary in the current Juventus set-up.
Juventus will look to get back to winning ways when they take on Lazio at the Stadio Olimpico in Serie A on Sunday evening.
The Bianconeri are without a win in any competition since September 13, but encouraged with their performance midweek despite ultimately falling to a 1-0 defeat away against Real Madrid in the Champions League.
Lazio, meanwhile, are unbeaten across their last three, having drawn 0-0 with Atalanta last week, which followed a 3-3 draw with Torino and a 3-0 win away against Genoa the week before.

The Biancocelesti are without Taty Castellanos, Nicolo Rovella and Samuel Gigot through injury. Nuno Tavares, Fisayo Dele-Bashiru and Matteo Cancellieri could also miss out. Gleison Bremer and Juan Cabal are Juventus’s only major injury absentees, aside from veteran goalkeeper Carlo Pinsoglio and centre-forward Arkadiusz Milik.
The Biancocelesti are expected to line up in a 4-3-3 with their attack led by Boulaye Dia at centre-forward. Gustav Isaksen and Mattia Zaccagni are expected to provide the support from the wings.
It remains to be seen who will lead the line for Juventus. Some pre-match reports suggest that Tudor will switch to a 3-5-2 that will see strikers Dusan Vlahovic and Jonathan David start up front alongside each other.
Kenan Yildiz is expected to drop out of the starting line-up as he overcomes a minor knee issue, while Mattia Perin could come in for Michele Di Gregorio in goal.

In April 2026, direct flights will commence between Bulgaria and the United States, marking a significant milestone for both nations in terms of travel and business opportunities. GullivAir, a Bulgarian airline, has successfully completed the required procedures with US aviation authorities, paving the way for regular flights to New York and Chicago. With discussions at their final stages for obtaining airport slots at both John F. Kennedy International Airport and Chicago O’Hare, the airline is on track to open up new travel routes that will benefit tourism, business, and cultural exchanges.
In addition to the positive news about direct flights, Bulgaria’s air travel sector continues to see impressive growth. In the first three quarters of 2025 alone, Sofia’s Vassil Levski Airport welcomed more than 6.28 million passengers, a 5% rise from the same period in 2024. The expectation is that passenger numbers will reach an estimated 8.4 million by the end of the year. The increase in travelers reflects the growing strength of Bulgaria’s aviation sector and its expanding global connections.
Growing Air Traffic and New Routes Across Bulgaria
Bulgaria’s aviation market has experienced substantial growth in recent years, and the opening of direct flights to the US is expected to further fuel this trend. The opening of new routes has been a key factor, not only enhancing the country’s connectivity to major global destinations but also fostering economic ties between Bulgaria and various regions.
Airports in Bulgaria’s coastal cities have shown remarkable improvements in passenger numbers as well. Varna and Bourgas airports have reported record-breaking statistics, serving more than 1.5 million passengers in Varna and 1.8 million passengers in Bourgas during the first nine months of 2025. These figures already match the totals for the entire year of 2024. This increase in traffic highlights the growing demand for travel to and from Bulgaria’s coastal areas, which are popular with both international tourists and business travelers.
New Connections: Expanding Bulgaria’s Aviation Network
Bulgaria’s national carrier and other airlines are continuing to expand the country’s route network. Among the newly added flights are routes connecting Plovdiv Airport to Milan, set to begin in late October 2025. Other new routes to destinations such as Bratislava, Marrakech, Chisinau, and Abu Dhabi will further enhance Bulgaria’s international presence. These new connections are not only crucial for enhancing the nation’s tourism appeal but also important for fostering trade and business relations with countries across Europe, Africa, and the Middle East.
The Benefits of Direct Flights Between Bulgaria and the US
The launch of direct flights between Bulgaria and the United States will have a far-reaching impact. For travelers, it will eliminate the need for connecting flights, saving both time and money. Tourists visiting Bulgaria will find it easier to explore its rich history, diverse culture, and stunning landscapes without long layovers or additional travel time.
For the Bulgarian tourism industry, the new route will open doors to a large market of potential American visitors. The move will also create more opportunities for cultural exchange between the two nations, strengthening ties and promoting Bulgaria’s heritage abroad. The new flights will also benefit business travelers, providing direct access to major US hubs, which could boost Bulgaria’s attractiveness as a destination for international investment and partnerships.
Travel Tips for Those Heading to the US from Bulgaria
For those planning to fly to the US via the new direct routes, here are some essential tips:
Plan Early: Given the expected popularity of these routes, booking tickets well in advance can help ensure the best fares and preferred seating options.
Arrive Early at the Airport: International flights require additional security checks, so arriving 3 hours ahead of your flight time is recommended.
Visa Requirements: Ensure your visa is valid for entry into the US before booking a ticket. Bulgarian citizens typically need to apply for a US visa or use the ESTA system for short stays.
Baggage Regulations: Familiarize yourself with the airline’s baggage policies to avoid extra charges or delays at the airport.
Stay Updated on Health Guidelines: Check for any travel advisories or health requirements (such as vaccinations) before departure, as international travel regulations can change.
Bulgaria’s Rising Position in European Aviation
Bulgaria’s aviation sector continues to thrive, thanks to an ongoing focus on expanding connectivity and improving infrastructure. With growing passenger numbers and new international routes being added, Bulgaria is increasingly seen as an attractive gateway between Eastern Europe and the rest of the world. The launch of direct flights to the US further solidifies the country’s role as a key player in the global travel network.
As Bulgaria continues to build its reputation as a tourism and business hub, the growth of its aviation industry will likely lead to even more opportunities for both the economy and the people. The upcoming launch of direct flights to New York and Chicago will be just the beginning of a new chapter in Bulgaria’s aviation history, with new connections bringing more travelers and business partnerships into the country.
Cheyenne, Wyoming, is a place where the Old West comes alive every summer. The city hosts one of the biggest events in the world, Cheyenne Frontier Days, also known as “The Daddy of ‘Em All.” In 2024, this incredible event drew over 550,000 visitors from around the world, making it the highlight of the year. This year’s event was not just about the rodeo but about bringing the community together, offering family fun, top-tier music concerts, and a genuine taste of the cowboy lifestyle. Let’s take a deep dive into what makes Cheyenne Frontier Days such a huge event and why it continues to attract millions.
What is Cheyenne Frontier Days?
Cheyenne Frontier Days (CFD) has a long history, stretching back to 1897. It is more than just a rodeo; it is a celebration of Western culture. This event features a thrilling rodeo, high-energy concerts, exciting parades, and a carnival filled with games and rides. CFD is the world’s largest outdoor rodeo, and each year it draws thousands of visitors from all corners of the globe to experience the spirit of the West.
The 2024 event ran for 10 days in late July. This year, the attendance was absolutely remarkable, with nearly 550,000 people visiting. The economic impact was equally impressive, with visitors spending over $50 million in Cheyenne and surrounding areas.
Rodeo and Xtreme Bulls: The Heart of the Action
The rodeo is the star of Cheyenne Frontier Days. Every year, people from all over the world gather to witness some of the best rodeo athletes in action. The event includes traditional rodeo events such as bareback riding, steer wrestling, and barrel racing. In addition to these, the PRCA Xtreme Bulls event brings high-intensity bull riding to the forefront. The 2024 edition of CFD hosted this event on July 20–21. It was a spectacle of daring bull riders, each trying to tame the wildest bulls in the world.
These rodeo events are thrilling, and they capture the true essence of the cowboy spirit. The excitement in the air is contagious, and every year, new faces and seasoned fans pack the grandstands to witness the action up close.
Concerts That Bring Cheyenne to Life
When the rodeo winds down, the music takes over. Cheyenne Frontier Days is not just for rodeo fans; it’s also a massive music festival. In 2024, the Frontier Nights concert series brought huge artists to the stage, including Jason Aldean, Jelly Roll, Machine Gun Kelly, and Lainey Wilson. With concerts on multiple nights, there was something for everyone.
The concerts are a perfect blend of country, rock, and pop music. Luke Bryan, Brooks & Dunn, and Cody Johnson are just a few of the big names set to perform in 2025. These performances attract huge crowds, and they complement the cowboy vibes of the rodeo, giving visitors a well-rounded experience.
The Carnival Midway: Fun for All Ages
While rodeo and concerts are the big draws, Cheyenne Frontier Days also has a vibrant carnival. The Midway is filled with more than 50 rides and games that delight both children and adults. Whether you’re riding a Ferris wheel or playing games to win prizes, there’s no shortage of excitement at the carnival.
For those who love thrill rides, the carnival offers endless entertainment. And for those who prefer a more relaxed atmosphere, the games and food stalls provide an enjoyable way to spend time. An unlimited ride armband costs $40 per day or $150 for the entire event. It’s a great value for families looking to make the most out of the experience.
The Grand Parades: A Slice of Western History
One of the most exciting events of Cheyenne Frontier Days is the Grand Parade. Held on various days, including July 18, 21, and 25, the parade features impressive floats, marching bands, and historic costumes that celebrate the West. The parades are not just a visual treat but also a historical showcase of the city’s cowboy heritage.
The Pancake Breakfasts are another fun community event, offered free of charge on select mornings. The smell of sizzling pancakes fills the air as thousands gather to enjoy a hearty breakfast before diving into the day’s festivities.
Behind the Scenes: More Than Just Rodeo
For visitors who want a deeper dive into the world of rodeo, Behind the Chutes tours provide an exclusive, behind-the-scenes look at how the rodeo is run. These tours offer an inside view of the riders, bulls, and preparation required for each rodeo event. It’s a fascinating experience for fans who want to see how the action unfolds off the arena floor.
Cheyenne also celebrates its cowboy heritage with the Old Frontier Town exhibit. Here, visitors can experience Western history up close through live demonstrations, historical reenactments, and interactive exhibits.
The Economic Impact of Cheyenne Frontier Days
The economic impact of Cheyenne Frontier Days is staggering. In 2024, visitors spent $50.4 million, with significant portions going towards food, lodging, entertainment, and retail. The local economy benefits tremendously from the influx of tourists, with around 660 full- and part-time jobs supported by the event. Visitors pour into the city from across the United States and internationally, with many staying in hotels, Airbnbs, and campgrounds. The event also supports businesses in the surrounding areas, creating a ripple effect that boosts the economy for weeks.
The tax revenue generated by CFD is equally impressive. It provides millions of dollars to local and state governments, contributing to the continued growth of the region.
How Cheyenne Frontier Days Attracts Visitors
What makes Cheyenne Frontier Days so successful? It’s the combination of history, entertainment, and community spirit. People from all walks of life are drawn to the event. Some come for the rodeo action, others for the music, and some simply to experience the cowboy culture. With its mix of exciting events, family-friendly activities, and a warm community atmosphere, Cheyenne Frontier Days has become one of the biggest and most anticipated events of the summer.
The event’s reputation as one of the world’s largest outdoor rodeos and Western celebrations spreads through word of mouth, with families, tourists, and even international visitors flocking to Cheyenne each year.

One key historical site in Cape Verde is Cidade Velha (also known as Old Town) on Santiago Island, which is a UNESCO World Heritage site. It is the birthplace of European colonialism in the tropics and holds many landmarks that serve as reminders of the past. For example, the Forte Real de São Filipe, a 16th-century fortress, provides visitors with sweeping views of the surrounding landscape while educating them about the early days of Portuguese colonization. Another must-see site is the Nossa Senhora do Rosário Church, built in 1495, making it the oldest surviving colonial church in the world.
In the capital city of Praia, visitors will find the Plateau District, which is the historical heart of the city. It’s home to colonial-era buildings, museums, and vibrant streets that reflect Cape Verde’s diverse history. Another significant site is the Tarrafal Concentration Camp, which was used during the Portuguese colonial era to imprison political prisoners. The rainy season, from July to October, tends to bring sporadic showers, but it also means fewer crowds, offering a quieter and more peaceful experience for those who prefer to travel off the beaten path.
When it comes to transportation, renting a car is highly recommended for exploring larger islands like Santiago and Santo Antão, which feature diverse and rugged landscapes. On smaller islands like Sal and Boa Vista, taxis and organized tours are usually sufficient for getting around.
Cape Verde’s Culinary Delights
Cape Verdean cuisine is a delightful fusion of African, Portuguese, and Brazilian influences. Cachupa, a hearty stew made from corn, beans, and vegetables (often with meat or fish), is the national dish and a must-try for any visitor. The islands are also known for fresh seafood, including grilled fish, lobster, and octopus, which is often served in savory sauces. Global travelers will find Cape Verde’s cuisine to be flavorful and rich, making it an important aspect of their travel experience.
Language and Culture
While Portuguese is the official language of Cape Verde, Cape Verdean Creole is the most widely spoken language. Visitors will find that many locals speak English, especially in tourist areas. However, learning a few words in either Portuguese or Creole will enhance the experience and allow travelers to connect more meaningfully with the local culture.

Stay informed about the risks and ensure your valuables are secure. By reading this full article, you’ll uncover more information on how to protect yourself in these tourist hotspots and why being prepared is crucial for a safe and enjoyable trip.
Paris: A Global Icon with Rising Crime Rates Paris ranks second with a total score of 68.81, making it a hotspot for both pickpocketing and scams. The famous Basilique du Sacré-Cœur and Montmartre areas are notorious for these crimes, attracting large crowds of tourists, especially in the summer. Pickpockets frequently target these popular spots where tourists often carry valuables. In addition, scam artists in Paris have been known to engage in “ring scams,” where they trick people into thinking they’ve found lost rings or jewelry. These crimes remain a significant concern, despite Paris’s ongoing efforts to improve safety measures for tourists.
Prague: Charming but Risky Prague, with a score of 52.16, takes the third spot in the rankings. The city’s Old Town Hall with the Astronomical Clock is another prime location for pickpockets and scams. This UNESCO World Heritage site, brimming with history and charm, attracts millions of visitors each year. The crowds make it easy for thieves to operate unnoticed. Tourists must also be cautious of common scams such as fake petition drives, where individuals trick people into donating money. Despite its beauty and culture, Prague remains one of the top cities for such incidents, making it a must-watch for travelers.
Shanghai: A Modern Metropolis with Hidden Dangers Shanghai, one of the most modern cities in the world, also ranks as a significant pickpocket and scam hotspot. With a total score of 51.83, it’s home to busy attractions like Nanjing Lu, one of the world’s busiest shopping streets. The area is notorious for pickpockets who target distracted shoppers. Scammers also operate in this bustling city, often using tactics like counterfeit products and fake money exchanges. Tourists must stay vigilant when navigating these commercial districts, especially during peak shopping hours. Shanghai’s bustling atmosphere can make it difficult for travelers to notice the criminal activity occurring right under their noses.
Agra: A Major Tourist Attraction with Hidden Threats Agra, home to the magnificent Taj Mahal, ranks fifth on the list. The city scores 47.48, and while it is known for its beauty and historic significance, it also faces a growing number of incidents involving pickpockets and scams. Visitors to the Taj Mahal must be particularly cautious, as scammers often approach tourists with fake guides or overly aggressive souvenir vendors. With a large influx of international tourists each year, Agra has become an area where these crimes are prevalent. Despite its incredible historical value, Agra remains one of the most dangerous tourist spots in India for pickpocketing and scams.
Shenzhen: High-Tech Hub with High-Risk Areas Shenzhen, a rapidly developing city in China, scores 39.51, ranking sixth in the global list of pickpocket and scam hotspots. The city is known for its modern architecture and innovation, yet popular shopping areas like Luohu Commercial City are hotspots for thieves. Shenzhen also sees a large number of scams, particularly in markets where counterfeit goods are sold to unsuspecting tourists. Tourists are advised to avoid such areas unless they are familiar with the local prices and products. The high volume of both domestic and international tourists makes Shenzhen a prime location for opportunistic criminals.
Rome: Ancient Wonders with Modern Dangers Rome, with a score of 45.53, is another European city that ranks high on the list. Famous for its ancient ruins, including the Colosseum and the Roman Forum, Rome also experiences a significant amount of pickpocketing and scams. Tourists must be especially wary when visiting crowded spots like the Trevi Fountain and Piazza Navona, where pickpockets often work in groups. Additionally, scam artists may approach tourists with fake petitions or offers of “free” services, such as henna tattoos. Rome’s rich history and stunning architecture attract millions of tourists, but they also present a prime target for criminals.
Pattaya: A Tourist Mecca with Growing Safety Concerns Pattaya, a popular beach destination in Thailand, ranks eighth with a score of 44.43. This city, known for its vibrant nightlife, also has its fair share of pickpocketing and scams. Tourists are often targeted in busy tourist areas, particularly near walking streets and beaches. Pattaya has earned a reputation for being a place where visitors may fall victim to fraudulent activities, ranging from fake tour guides to overcharged taxi rides. The influx of tourists has created a fertile ground for such crimes, making Pattaya one of the most dangerous places for travelers in Thailand.
Phuket: Tropical Paradise with Hidden Risks Phuket, another popular Thai destination, ranks ninth with a score of 40.52. Known for its beautiful beaches and vibrant nightlife, Phuket also faces a rising number of scams and pickpocketing incidents. Popular areas like Patong Beach attract large crowds, making them prime locations for criminals. Scams involving overpriced tours and fake hotel deals are widespread, and pickpockets often target tourists in busy shopping areas. Despite its appeal as a beach paradise, Phuket’s growing crime rates pose a real danger to visitors.
Mumbai: India’s Financial Hub Faces Security Challenges Mumbai, India’s bustling financial capital, rounds out the top 10 with a score of 36.86. While the city is known for its cosmopolitan atmosphere and vibrant culture, tourists are increasingly becoming targets for scams and pickpockets. Popular tourist spots like Colaba and Marine Drive are hotspots for these crimes, with scammers often approaching tourists with fake offers or tricks to steal belongings. Visitors should stay vigilant and keep their valuables secure when visiting the city’s famous landmarks.
Conclusion: Stay Safe While Travelling Tourists must remain aware of the risks posed by pickpockets and scammers, especially in these top 10 hotspots. While these destinations offer incredible experiences, they also come with the potential for danger. Travelers can reduce their risk by staying alert, avoiding crowded areas when possible, and keeping their valuables close at all times. By doing so, tourists can enjoy their trips while keeping these threats at bay.
Spain has officially completed its most ambitious space project to date with the successful launch of the SpainSat NG II satellite, marking a significant leap forward in the country’s aerospace capabilities. The launch, conducted by SpaceX on October 25, 2025, from Cape Canaveral, Florida, saw the satellite lifted into orbit aboard the Falcon 9 rocket. This milestone is a critical achievement in Spain’s growing role in space technology and secure communications.
A Leap Toward Secure Communications
The SpainSat NG II satellite is designed to provide Spain and its allies with secure and resilient communication systems, critical for defense, governmental operations, and international collaborations. The satellite forms part of Spain’s effort to ensure greater control over its communication infrastructure, especially for high-stakes areas like defense and national security.
Weighing over six tons and standing 7.3 meters tall, SpainSat NG II is one of the largest and most advanced communications satellites launched by Spain. Its primary mission is to offer satellite communication services to the Spanish Armed Forces, NATO, the European Union, and other allied nations. This satellite is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including advanced antennas, cyberattack-resistant systems, and protection mechanisms that can withstand nuclear events in the upper atmosphere.
Strong International Collaboration
The successful completion of the SpainSat NG II project represents the culmination of significant international collaboration. Spain’s aerospace company Hisdesat worked closely with Airbus, the lead contractor in developing the satellite, which has been designed with cutting-edge technology and robust security features. More than 45% of the satellite’s development was carried out within Spain, underscoring the country’s expanding capacity to build advanced aerospace technology.
In addition to its security features, SpainSat NG II is designed to provide broad coverage, spanning multiple regions of the world. It will facilitate secure communication services over Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and even parts of the Americas and Asia. This global reach will significantly enhance Spain’s communication capabilities in a range of international contexts.
Completion of the SPAINSAT NG Constellation
The successful launch of SpainSat NG II also completes the SPAINSAT NG constellation, following the earlier launch of SpainSat NG I in 2025. Together, these two satellites form a comprehensive network of communication infrastructure, providing reliable, secure connections across nearly two-thirds of the Earth’s surface.
This completion highlights Spain’s growing role in the global space community, with the two satellites offering advanced communications in strategic regions where Spain has critical interests. The combination of SpainSat NG I and NG II will ensure that Spain remains well-positioned to maintain a leading role in Europe’s security and communication sectors.
Overcoming Technical Hurdles
While the launch was successful, it wasn’t without challenges. Initially scheduled for October 24, the launch was delayed by 24 hours due to a technical issue with the Falcon 9 rocket’s safety system. However, SpaceX quickly resolved the problem, and the launch proceeded smoothly the next day. This quick recovery is a testament to the resilience and efficiency of both the Spanish and American teams involved in the project.
This technical delay highlights the complexity of space missions but also underscores the sophistication of modern space technology and the reliability of commercial partnerships, like that of SpaceX and Spain’s aerospace industry.
Strengthening Spain’s Technological Sovereignty
The launch of SpainSat NG II is a major step toward achieving greater technological sovereignty for Spain. As a member of the European Union and NATO, Spain’s investment in its own secure communications infrastructure is an essential component of its national security strategy. By developing and deploying its own satellite technology, Spain is reducing its reliance on foreign systems and establishing greater control over its communication networks.
This move is not only a triumph for Spain’s space industry but also strengthens Europe’s broader efforts to assert its technological independence. With increasing geopolitical tensions and the growing importance of secure communications, Spain’s new satellite capabilities will be essential for maintaining operational autonomy and enhancing collaboration with its European and international partners.
Looking Ahead: The Future of Spain’s Space Program
The launch of SpainSat NG II marks the completion of one of Spain’s most significant space projects, but it also paves the way for further developments in the country’s space program. The success of this mission is likely to spur further investment in Spain’s aerospace industry and open doors for future projects, including the development of additional satellites and even more advanced communication systems.
Spain is also moving toward the implementation of a new digital screening system by 2028 for visa-exempt travelers. This effort is part of a broader push to bolster Spain’s technological capabilities, particularly in the space sector, to ensure it remains competitive on the global stage.
Conclusion
With the successful launch of SpainSat NG II, Spain has firmly established itself as a key player in the global space sector. This achievement is not only a technological feat but also a strategic move to ensure Spain’s secure communications and technological autonomy. As the SPAINSAT NG constellation takes its place in orbit, Spain’s commitment to innovation and space technology is evident, and its future in the space race looks brighter than ever.

Following speculation regarding a potential return, Changpeng Zhao, known as CZ, the co-founder and former CEO of Binance, has sparked discussions about the implications of his recent presidential pardon for the exchange’s operations in the United States.
Will CZ Reclaim His CEO Position At Binance?
Industry observers suggest that this major development for CZ and Binance as a whole could pave the way for Zhao to resume leadership roles and consolidate Binance’s US operations.
According to Bloomberg, the company is exploring several options, including the possibility of integrating Binance.US into its global operations or having its global exchange enter the US market, as indicated by a source familiar with the matter.
“This cycle is largely being driven by U.S. institutional investors and investment products, and that’s precisely where Binance can now shift its focus,” stated Markus Thielen, CEO of 10x Research.
He added that the US affiliate will likely be reintegrated into Binance’s global ecosystem, providing US investors with direct access to the platform’s “deep liquidity and comprehensive derivatives offerings.”
Attention is now focused on whether Zhao will attempt to reclaim the CEO role he previously stepped away from. In recent weeks, he updated his profile on social media platform X from “ex-Binance” to simply “@Binance,” a subtle change that has fueled speculation about his intentions.
However, not everyone believes Zhao is eager to return as CEO. David Namdar, who manages a BNB treasury company backed by Zhao’s family office, commented, “I think he is operating with more of a weight off his shoulders not running the exchange. I’d be surprised if he stepped back into that role.”
Industry Leaders Predict Increased Involvement
Patrick Horsman, chief investment officer of digital asset treasury (DAT) firm Applied DNA Sciences, which invests in Binance Coin (BNB), emphasized that Binance’s technology, liquidity, and relatively low fees could position it as a dominant player in the American crypto market.
However, Bloomberg highlights that the pardon may not only enhance Zhao’s personal prospects but also unlock new opportunities for Binance’s global expansion.
Notably, the firm holds minority stakes in affiliates throughout Asia, including Thailand and Malaysia, where regulatory frameworks impose ownership suitability tests on major shareholders.
“A criminal conviction can pose a barrier for any individual seeking a beneficial ownership stake in a regulated or listed company,” explained Chris Holland, a partner at HM, a consulting firm based in Singapore.
Cosmo Jiang, general partner at Pantera, anticipates that Zhao will become “more involved with Binance’s operations” now that he has received a pardon. “Whenever a founder returns to a company, it’s always an invigorating moment; you typically see more growth and better execution,” he noted.

Intel cut 20,500 jobs under new CEO Lip-Bu Tan — totaling 35,500 in two years — and reduced R&D spending by over $800 million per quarter as it streamlines operations, cancels lower-priority projects, and concentrates investment on strategic projects.
Intel's third-quarter results were constrained by production and substrate shortages, forcing the company to prioritize data center CPUs over client chips, which will likely make Raptor Lake CPUs more expensive going forward.
The OnePlus 15 won’t be the only phone OnePlus will announce on October 27. Another phone is coming, and it will have an even larger battery than the OnePlus 15. The phone’s name is the OnePlus Ace 6.
The OnePlus 15’s sibling will come with an even larger battery, a 7,800mAh one
This smartphone will have a 7,800mAh battery, compared to the OnePlus 15’s 7,300mAh unit. Both of these battery packs are huge, and quite frankly, we’re expecting phenomenal longevity from both of them.
The OnePlus Ace 6 actually popped up on Geekbench with 16GB of RAM and the Snapdragon 8 Elite. So it won’t be as powerful as the OnePlus 15, but still… these are great specs. Android 16 was also mentioned on Geekbench, and it will come with ColorOS 16 included, as this phone will launch in China.
OnePlus has already confirmed that this phone will include an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, along with IP66/68/69/69K ratings for great water and dust resistance.
A 165Hz display will also be included, as will 120W charging
What else is expected? Well, the device will include a 6.78-inch display with a 165Hz refresh rate. It will have a 12GB RAM model as well, while it will offer two nano SIM card slots.
A 50-megapixel main camera will be backed by an 8-megapixel ultrawide shooter. A 16-megapixel camera will sit on the front. Stereo speakers will be included too, as will Bluetooth 5.4.
On top of having a huge battery, the phone will also support 120W fast wired charging. The OnePlus Ace 6 will measure 163.41 x 77.04 x 8.32mm and weigh 213 grams.
This phone almost certainly won’t make its way to global markets. The OnePlus 15 will, but this one will not. Both of them will become official on October 27 in China.
A recent report suggested that the OnePlus 15 will launch globally in November, and a new report just backs that information. The info comes from Sudhanshu Ambhore, a tipster.
It’s quite clear now, the OnePlus 15 will arrive to global markets in November
He went to X to say that the OnePlus 15 will be arriving to India next month. That basically confirms that it will arrive to global markets, as that’s the way OnePlus handles things. As a reminder, the initial launch of the phone will take place on October 27.
The tipster also confirmed that this will become the first Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 smartphone in India. Only two color variants will be arriving to India, however, Sand Storm and Black colors. The purple model will not be making its way there. The same could happen in other markets, though OnePlus could add a different color to accompany those two.
November 13 is likely the date
Speaking of the global launch, the previous report hinted at November 13 as the launch date. That could easily happen, so keep that in mind. The phone will likely become available not long after the launch event.
OnePlus has confirmed quite a few details regarding this phone, as it has been teasing the China launch. The company confirmed that the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 will fuel the device. Its color variants have also been confirmed and shown to the public.
The device will feature three 50-megapixel cameras on the back, while a 1.5K AMOLED display will sit on the front. That display will be flat, and it will offer a 165Hz refresh rate. The display will be made by BOE.
OnePlus also confirmed that a 7,300mAh battery will be included inside the phone. The OnePlus 15 will also support 120W wired and 50W wireless charging, in case you were wondering.

OnePlus is all set to introduce its latest flagship smartphone, dubbed the OnePlus 15, at an event in China on October 27. Alongside the OnePlus 15, the brand could also unveil a new Ace series phone called the Ace 6 Turbo. Earlier leaks have suggested that the new OnePlus Ace phone will have a massive 8,000mAh battery. A reliable tipster from China has now shared some more details about the core specs of this phone.
OnePlus phone with 8,000mAh battery could sport the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 SoC
According to Digital Chat Station on Weibo, the new OnePlus 8,000mAh battery phone will be a performance-centric offering. Presumably named the OnePlus Ace 6 Turbo, the company will back the handset with a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset.
Qualcomm already introduced the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset last month, which’ll power the new crop of flagship products. However, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 will arrive later this year as a slightly less-powerful variant of the new Elite chip. It could perform slightly better than the Snapdragon 8 Elite, which will be available on the new OnePlus Ace 6 variant.
An OLED display and 1.5K resolution will also be on offer
Furthermore, the tipster has claimed that OnePlus will equip the 8,000mAh battery phone with an OLED display. It’ll support 1.5K resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate to deliver an immersive media viewing and gaming experience. The alleged OnePlus Ace 6 Turbo could also flaunt whopping 100W wired fast charging support, as per the previous reports.
The same leaker also suggested that OnePlus is working on one more large battery phone with a 7,650mAh power cell. It could arrive as the OnePlus Ace 6 vanilla variant. Since the launch is just around the corner, we’ll have official details soon enough, so watch this space for regular updates.
