The Ennoble Care Philly Open will be gathering pro players to the city in August!
One lucky student from UPenn will be able to step on the court during that event.
Esha Velaga is the top student for their Women's Varsity Tennis Team.
"The fact that this is a women's only tournament where students can come out, people in Philly can come out... It's just a really good spotlight for the sport," said Velaga.
The athletes will also be the ones playing on Velaga's home turf, the Hamlin Tennis Center at University of Pennsylvania.
The tournament is brought to the city with help from The Philadelphia Sisters, and takes place August 23-29.

Square Enix's Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is about to get a Shader Injector mod, courtesy of modder David Matos. This mod aims to inject modified shaders directly into the game's rendering API, thus enabling visual improvements. A few days ago, Matos published a showcase that demonstrates an upgraded version of UE4's Deferred Directional Light Pixel Shader. The shader's BRDFs were upgraded, and the modder also added screen space ray traced shadows and micro shadows to improve the overall graphics quality of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth. Objects previously excluded from shadow maps can be filled with the aforementioned SSRT shadows, making […]

The Last of Us Online might have died once Naughty Dog realized it would have to support it for a long time, but a modder is currently making a multiplayer mod for The Last of Us Part II, aiming to recreate the Factions experience in the newer game. The modder is Speclizer, who previously attempted to reimplement the cut Hold Up feature in the game. Since January 2026, however, he's been busy with this multiplayer project, which started as a modest proof of concept: two independent instances of Ellie, spawned and controlled simultaneously in the same game world, running only […]

Tottenham Hotspur are not working on a deal to sign Mason Greenwood this summer, despite recent reports linking the Marseille forward with a move to North London.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Spurs are not currently pursuing the former Manchester United attacker, and there is no active negotiation taking place.
That update will bring clarity after speculation suggested Roberto De Zerbi could look to reunite with a player he previously worked with in France.
The rumour always felt like one that needed caution.
Tottenham are trying to build a fresh project under De Zerbi, and their recruitment focus appears to be on midfield reinforcements, defensive upgrades and younger long-term targets rather than a move as sensitive and complicated as this one.
Greenwood enjoyed a productive spell at Marseille under De Zerbi, which naturally led to claims that Tottenham might explore a deal following the Italian coach’s arrival.
FourFourTwo had previously reported that De Zerbi admired the forward’s footballing qualities.
However, admiration from a previous manager does not always translate into a transfer plan.
Tottenham’s stance appears firm: there is no move being worked on at this stage.
This is important because Spurs have several other issues to solve.
The club have been linked with midfielders such as Mateus Fernandes and Sandro Tonali, while defensive decisions around players like Luka Vušković also remain part of the summer agenda.
Cartilage Free Captain also reported that Tottenham sources have dismissed the Greenwood rumours, reinforcing the idea that this story is not one to take seriously right now.
The message is simple, Tottenham are not pursuing Greenwood.
De Zerbi may know the player well, but Spurs’ current transfer strategy is moving in a different direction.

Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur are looking to sign Mason Greenwood from Marseille during the summer transfer window, as per L’Equipe.
The 24-year-old has worked with Roberto De Zerbi during their time together at the French club, and he could prove to be a very useful acquisition for the north London club. However, it remains to be seen how the Tottenham fans react to the situation.

When Roberto De Zerbi was confirmed as the club’s manager, the Tottenham supporters’ group released a statement criticising the Italian manager’s public backing of Greenwood despite being charged with attempted rape, controlling and coercive behaviour and assault during his time at Manchester United.
Greenwood has been outstanding for the French club, and he is valued at €80 million. It remains to be seen whether Tottenham is prepared to pay that kind of money for the player. He can operate on the flank as well as centrally. There is no doubt that he could solve Tottenham’s goal-scoring problem. However, the signing might not go down well with the fans.

On the other hand, Arsenal are monitoring his situation as well. They need to add more goals to the team, and a 24-year-old would be a handy option. He can operate in multiple attacking positions, and he will add some much-needed sharpness in the final third. Greenwood scored 26 goals last season and picked up 11 assists.
It remains to be seen whether Arsenal or Tottenham decide to follow up on their interest with an official proposal. The French outfit is under pressure to sell players in order to comply with FFP rules. The England attacker is currently the most prized asset at the French club, and therefore the club is ready to sanction his departure for a premium. It remains to be seen how the situation develops.

It's been three years since the AMD AM5 motherboard platform and the 600-series motherboards launched. Since its launch, the platform has seen the launch of several CPUs in the Ryzen 7000, Ryzen 8000, and Ryzen 9000 families. While the 600-series motherboards provide great features & compatibility with newer Zen 5 CPUs, motherboard makers are always looking to enhance user experiences through the latest technologies, so AMD has introduced a new chipset line called the 800-series. Now, AMD has introduced both X870 and B850 series chipsets for high-end and mainstream AM5 motherboards. Both of these chips provide brand-new designs and brand-new […]

There are many things we think about when the word “cruise” pops up, but darn near the top of that list would have to be food. While we’re big believers that you will never go hungry on a ship, we also manage to get ridiculously excited when a cruise line announces additions to their culinary lineup… which is exactly what Carnival Cruise Line just did. However, there’s a catch…

In a move designed to whet our appetites, Carnival revealed a program they’re calling The Next Course. And while they’ve shared lots of details about the restaurants and experiences which The Next Course will encompass, they also let us know we’ll have to wait a bit for the biggest and best of these changes. Why? Because they’ll be rolled out starting with the introduction of the Carnival Festivale.
That means that while you might start dreaming about the meals you’ll have tonight, you won’t actually be able to experience them until May of 2027.
That said, Carnival Cruise Line president Christine Duffy believes it’ll be well worth the wait. “Our latest culinary adventure marks a bold step forward to give guests an unforgettable experience with a variety of new, vibrant flavors fleetwide.”
When Carnival Festivale is rolled out, it will feature several new concepts, but not only where food is concerned. There will also be a new lounge dubbed The Spark (which will feature cocktails inspired by iconic songs) as well as a bar called Mix, which sounds like a playful take on the line’s successful Alchemy Bar.
But we’re here to talk about food. So what type of food, exactly, will Carnival’s new restaurants focus on?
First up is Uku Lei Lei, a complimentary restaurant described as a space in which “Hawaii’s vibrant spirit meets bold Asian flavors.” The menu is expected to feature dishes such as poke bowls, Mongolian beef short ribs and tropical desserts, all served in a space with a relaxed island vibe.
Next on our “to eat” list is Le Bistro Musicale, described as having the spirit of a Parisian cafe and “a menu that reads like a love letter to classic French cuisine.” French onion soup, chicken cordon bleu and, of course, crispy steak frites are on the menu at this hot spot, which will come with an upcharge.

Those hungering for something fresh from the ocean will want to head to Emeril’s Coastal Seafood. The menu at this specialty restaurant is described as fresh seafood infused with the celebrity chef’s Creole flair. The atmosphere will be refined but relaxed, offering everything from fresh oysters to chef-driven specialties that “celebrate the best of land and sea.”
Rounding out the new additions is Fetaccine, a complimentary restaurant “where Greek seaside flavors meet rich Italian culinary tradition. The menu will feature a wide variety of offerings, from chicken parm to Greek lamb chops.
So far, there’s no word on when or if any of these new offerings might eventually find their way onto ships other than Festivale or her sister ship, Tropicale, which will begin welcoming guests in 2028.

However, The Next Course does include the rollout of refreshed menus across the fleet, and the addition of Bagels At Sea. The Chef’s Table Menu will also be revamped with an emphasis on regionally-inspired flavors. Additionally, Carnival is promising fun pop-up concepts, expanded grab-and-go options and the previously announced Express Dining option.
