iQOO 15T confirmed to pack 8,000mAh battery with 100W charging, 200MP camera

On May 20, iQOO will take the wraps off the iQOO 15T, a performance-focused flagship phone in China. With only a few days remaining until launch, the brand has been steadily confirming key details about the device. Earlier this week, it revealed the display specifications, and now it has confirmed the battery size, charging capabilities, and primary camera details.

iQOO 15T’s battery, charging, and camera details confirmed

The iQOO 15T is equipped with the largest battery in the flagship lineup — an ultra-slim 8,000mAh battery paired with 100W fast charging. It supports Global Direct Drive Power Supply 2.0, which helps reduce heat while gaming and charging simultaneously. The durable high-capacity single-cell battery is designed to deliver all-day battery life, from morning classes to bedtime.

Moving on to the optics, the iQOO 15T will, for the first time on an iQOO flagship phone, feature a 200-megapixel large-sensor super main camera capable of delivering highly detailed shots even when zooming in. It also supports the same CIPA 4.5 professional-grade stabilisation found on Vivo’s imaging flagship phones, along with 4x lossless zoom for clearer shots at both short and long distances. Other features include full focal-length portrait photography and AI-powered imaging tools.

Recent reports have revealed that the iQOO 15T will feature a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens alongside the primary camera, as well as a 16-megapixel front-facing camera. The device will ship with OriginOS 6-based Android 16.

On the front, the iQOO 15T will feature a 6.82-inch 2K flat display with support for a 144Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it will be powered by the Dimensity 9500 Monster Edition chipset for improved gaming performance. The inclusion of the self-developed Q3 e-sports chip will enable full-scene ray tracing, super 2K resolution, and 2K + 144fps gaming in select titles. At present, there is no clarity on whether the iQOO 15T will launch in markets outside China.

Redmi K100 series may debut in September

For the past few years, Xiaomi has been launching its camera-focused premium flagship phones in September, followed by Redmi’s flagship phones, which are performance-driven but comparatively inferior in cameras, in October. A new update from reliable tipster Digital Chat Station suggests that Redmi’s flagship phones may launch before Xiaomi’s this year.

Redmi K100 series launch timeframe tipped

Redmi K100 series may launch in Q3

As seen in DCS’s Weibo post, the Redmi K100 series may be released ahead of schedule in Q3. Reports have revealed that the Redmi K100 Pro Max will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro, which is expected to launch officially in September. Therefore, it is likely that the Redmi K100 series may debut in the same month.

The same source has previously claimed that the Xiaomi 18, 18 Pro, and 18 Pro Max will also debut in September. By launching the Redmi K100 series and Xiaomi 18 series in the same month, Xiaomi may end up cannibalizing sales of both lineups. Therefore, it remains to be seen whether the company pushes the Xiaomi 18 lineup launch to October this year.

As far as the Redmi lineup is concerned, it may include the Redmi K100 and K100 Pro Max powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 and Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 chipsets, respectively. Some vague rumors suggest that the lineup may include a mysterious third mode model, but its details are scarce.

In the comments section of the same Weibo post, DCS further revealed that Redmi may unveil new products in Q4. While the tipster did not specifically mention what is launching during that period, it is likely that the Redmi Turbo 6 series may debut in Q4.

Honor Win Turbo teaser

Honor has officially started teasing a new smartphone lineup called the Honor WIN Turbo in China. The teaser suggests that the upcoming device will focus heavily on gaming performance and battery life, while also introducing a refreshed design language. The announcement has additionally sparked speculation around a more premium Win 2 series that could arrive later this year.

The teaser image shared by Honor reveals a smartphone with a large rectangular camera module featuring angular edges and a sporty aesthetic. A glowing “Win” branding element can also be seen integrated into the camera island, hinting at a performance-oriented identity. Honor describes the phone as a “durable gaming warrior,” suggesting a focus on sustained performance and long battery endurance.

The Honor Win Turbo could offer strong price-to-performance value and may arrive in time for China’s 618 (June 18) shopping festival. Reliable tipster Digital Chat Station claims Win Turbo has the SER-AN00, which is also associated with the Honor Power 2, which debuted in January this year in China. Therefore, it is likely that the Win Turbo could just a rebranded or tweaked version of the Power 2.

For reference, the Honor Power 2 features a 6.79-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, Dimensity 8500 Elite chipset, 12GB RAM, and up to 512GB storage. It also packs a massive 10,080mAh battery with 80W charging support. On the camera front, the phone includes a 50-megapixel primary camera, a 5-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, and a 16-megapixel front camera.

Honor Win 2 series may launch sooner than expected

DCS has additionally hinted that the Honor Win 2 series could launch earlier than expected in China. The lineup may feature a 2nm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 series chip, an internal cooling fan, and a battery capacity crossing the 10,000mAh mark.

The upcoming series is also said to target a higher positioning compared to the current Win Turbo models and may directly compete with performance-focused phones from rival sub-brands. These include the Redmi K100 series, iQOO 16, and OnePlus 16.

Vivo V80, Vivo S2 model numbers emerge via IMEI database listing

Vivo V70 Elite

Vivo has launched a couple of devices in the Vivo V70 series, including the Vivo V70, V70 Elite, and V70 FE. Some reports suggest that the brand is also gearing up to unveil the V70 Lite, which could be the last phone in the series. This is because the Vivo V80 has now been spotted in the IMEI database for the first time. Interestingly, a new S-series phone has also appeared in the IMEI database.

A report that surfaced in April revealed that the upcoming iQOO 16 and Vivo V80 had appeared in the GSMA IMEI database. It appears that the V80’s listing has now been updated with the model number V2630, as per a report by PassionateGeekz.

The Vivo S2 has also been spotted with the model number V2576 in the IMEI database. None of these listings have revealed any technical details about the devices.

The Vivo S2 will be the company’s attempt to bring back the S-series to the Indian market after a break of seven years since the launch of the Vivo S1 in 2019. Likely, the S2 could end up as a mid-range phone in Vivo’s crowded lineup, which includes X-series flagship phones, V-series camera-focused sub-flagship phones, T-series mid-range performance-driven phones sold through Flipkart, and Y-series entry-level and budget smartphones.

As far as the Vivo V80 is concerned, it could be based on the Vivo S60, which is expected to debut this month in China. The Snapdragon 8s Gen 3-powered Vivo S60 is said to feature a 6.59-inch OLED panel offering a 1.5K resolution and a 7,000mAh battery with 90W charging support. It is also expected to feature a Sony IMX8-series periscope telephoto camera, an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint scanner, a metal middle frame, and an IP68/69-rated dust and water-resistant chassis.

Finally, Vivo X500 series may bring 7,000mAh+ batteries across the lineup

Vivo X300 Pro

The Oppo Find X9 series includes multiple devices, and all of them are equipped with 7,000mAh+ batteries. However, on the other side, only one Vivo X300 series smartphone has crossed the 7,000mAh battery mark. A new leak by tipster Smart Pikachu reveals that Vivo may finally bring bigger batteries to the X500 lineup.

Vivo X500 series to pack 7,000mAh+ batteries

According to the tipster, Vivo is expected to adopt high-density battery technology more extensively, with even its flagship X-series devices reportedly entering the “7-series” battery capacity range, hinting at batteries starting at around 7,000mAh.

In China, the X300 lineup includes four devices: the X300 and X300 Pro, which are powered by 6,040mAh and 6,510mAh batteries, respectively. These devices were unveiled in October last year. The X300s and X300 Ultra, which went official last month in China, are equipped with 6,000mAh and 7,100mAh batteries, respectively.

So far, reports have revealed that Vivo may launch three X500 series models in September this year in China. The lineup may include the Vivo X500, X500 Pro, and X500 Pro Max with 6.59-inch, 6.37-inch, and 6.85-inch displays, respectively.

The Vivo X500 Ultra, which may debut next year in the first half, could sport the same display as the X500 Pro Max. While the Ultra edition may feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro, the other X500 series devices could be equipped with Dimensity 9600 series chipsets.

The Vivo X500 series will also reportedly include a model called the Vivo X500e, but there is no clarity on whether it is heading to China or if it is meant only for the global market.

Vivo Pocket handheld gimbal with 200MP Sony LYT-901 sensor to rival DJI

DJI Osmo Pocket 4 Specs Price Launch

Vivo may soon enter the compact vlogging camera segment with a new handheld gimbal device reportedly called the Vivo Pocket, as per a new report by Chinese publication Leifeng. The device is expected to target creators and vloggers looking for a more portable shooting solution. Here’s a look at the new details that have surfaced recently.

Vivo Pocket may rival DJI’s compact camera lineup

According to the publication, the Vivo Pocket handheld gimbal camera could launch during the fourth quarter of this year. Supply chain details suggest that mass production may begin in October, while the commercial launch is currently expected between November and December. This contradicts a previous report that Vivo’s vlogging camera may debut alongside the X500 series in September.

The report also claims that the device could feature a large 1/1.1-inch camera sensor, which would place it among the more premium compact vlogging cameras in the market. Vivo is reportedly preparing initial inventory in the range of one million units, indicating that the company may have strong expectations for the product category.

Interestingly, Vivo had reportedly planned to launch the device earlier in the third quarter. However, the launch schedule may have been pushed back after rival brands also started working on similar handheld gimbal camera products.

According to Digital Chat Station, the Vivo Pocket leak is accurate and matches information the tipster had previously received. The prototype device is currently said to feature a large 1/1.1-inch camera sensor along with Sony’s LYT-901 200-megapixel sensor. The tipster also claims that the device is being designed with a hardware approach similar to flagship smartphone imaging systems.

Apart from the large sensor, the Vivo Pocket is also expected to include a capable processor, although the exact chipset name has not yet been revealed. The tipster also claims that the Pocket is scheduled for launch towards the end of this year and could directly compete with products from DJI in the handheld camera segment.

Oppo, Huawei, and Honor may also enter the segment

The report states that Oppo has already initiated an internal handheld camera project with the codename “Fuyao.” That product is also expected to arrive later this year. Vivo recently started experience recruitment for its first handheld gimbal camera in Shenzhen, with preference reportedly being given to users who already have experience using gimbal-based products.

Apart from Vivo and Oppo, companies such as Huawei and Honor are also said to be developing similar products, although their launches may happen sometime in 2027. This suggests that smartphone brands are now exploring dedicated camera accessories and creator-focused hardware as smartphone profit margins continue to tighten.

Vivo S60 series’ design teased, launch imminent

Vivo S60 series teaser

Vivo has started teasing the design direction of the upcoming Vivo S60 series in China. Han Boxiao, Product Manager at Vivo Communication Technology, recently shared details about the inspiration behind the new lineup, hinting at a fresh summer-themed look with a reflective silver-white finish. The teaser arrives as more leaks continue to reveal possible hardware details for the Vivo S60 and Vivo S60 Pro Mini models.

Vivo S60 series teaser reveals premium design

According to Boxiao, the phone has a silver-white rear panel inspired by sparkling reflections on the ocean during summer. When the device moves, the light effects on the back are supposed to shift like shimmering waves. He also mentions a large integrated cold-carved glass back, which should give the phone a smooth and premium in-hand feel.

The above image also suggests that the S60’s camera setup could be placed at the top-left corner, like the previous generation. However, the S60 Pro Mini may continue to feature a horizontal camera module like the S50 Pro Mini from last year.

Last week, tipster Digital Chat Station revealed that the standard Vivo S60 could feature a 6.59-inch 1.5K display with slim bezels and rounded corners. Vivo may pack a battery capacity starting in the 7,000mAh range, along with support for 90W fast charging.

The phone is also tipped to include a Sony IMX8-series periscope telephoto camera. Other expected features include an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner, IP68 and IP69 ratings, a metal middle frame, and support for magnetic accessories through compatible cases.

Today, the tipster revealed that the Vivo S60 will be powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset. At present, there is no information about the S60 Pro Mini’s specifications. Other reports have suggested that both models may support a telephoto extender accessory.

Vivo X500 FE in the making?

Last year’s Vivo S50 Pro Mini arrived globally as the Vivo X300 FE. Based on that strategy, the Vivo S60 Pro Mini could later debut as the Vivo X500 FE sometime during the first half of 2027 for the global market. Vivo is also said to be planning a collaboration with a popular Chinese anime IP for one of the phone’s color variants.

One of the biggest highlights of the Xiaomi 17 Max is its massive 8000mAh battery, which Xiaomi claims is the largest ever used in one of its smartphones. Xiaomi says the screen uses a new RGB sub-pixel arrangement that delivers near-2K visual sharpness while consuming less power than conventional 1.5K OLED panels. Oppo Find X10 series may include four models, display sizes leaked

Oppo Find X9 Pro

Last year, the brand unveiled only two flagship phones, namely the Find X9 and Find X9 Pro, in October in China. This year, the company expanded the lineup by adding two more models, such as the Find X9 Ultra and Find X9s Pro.

Coming this October, Oppo may unveil the Oppo Find X10 series. If a new leak is to be believed, the X10 lineup could include as many as four models.

Oppo Find X10 series display sizes tipped

Reliable tipster Digital Chat Station has shared fresh details about what appear to be the display sizes of the upcoming Find X10 series. According to the leak, the series is currently being tested with four different screen sizes, including a 6.32-inch 1.5K LTPS panel, a 6.59-inch 1.5K LTPO display, a 6.78-inch 1.5K LTPO screen, and a 6.89-inch 2K LTPO panel.

To recall, the Find X9 features a 6.59-inch screen, whereas the X9 Pro packs a larger 6.78-inch display. The X9s Pro is a compact flagship with a 6.32-inch screen, while the X9 Ultra is the largest model with a 6.82-inch display panel.

Coming back to the X10 lineup, previous reports suggest that the Find X10 could feature a 6.59-inch 1.5K display, while the Find X10 Pro may arrive with a 6.78-inch 1.5K panel. The Find X10 Pro Max edition could feature a 6.89-inch 2K screen.

It remains to be seen what the 6.32-inch model will be called when it debuts in the market. The X10 Ultra’s display size is not known, but it could be same as the Pro Max edition.

The tipster also claims that all models in the lineup will feature large-radius corner designs for a more rounded appearance. In addition, the entire Find X10 series is expected to support LIPO ultra-narrow bezel packaging technology, which could help achieve slimmer and more symmetrical bezels around the display. Another highlighted feature is support for the BT.2020 wide color gamut standard, suggesting improvements in color reproduction and visual accuracy across the lineup.

Samsung’s second One UI 9 beta rollout brings Android 17 features to more regions

One UI 9

Samsung has confirmed that a second wave of the One UI 9 beta rollout will begin later this month for Galaxy S26 users in additional regions. The Android 17-based software was recently introduced in limited markets, and the company is now preparing to expand beta access gradually. Apart from visual changes, the update also introduces AI-focused features, customisation improvements and stronger security tools.

According to Samsung, the second phase of the One UI 9 beta rollout will begin on May 26. The company had previously announced beta availability for countries including India, the US, the UK, Germany, South Korea and Poland, although not all users received access during the first phase. Galaxy S26 owners can register for the beta program through the Samsung Members app once it becomes available in their region.

One UI 9 introduces several interface changes across the system. Samsung has redesigned the Quick Panel, allowing users to independently adjust the size and placement of controls for brightness, media playback and sound. The update also adds new features to Samsung Notes, including additional pen styles and decorative tape effects aimed at improving journaling and note customization.

Samsung has also integrated Creative Studio tools inside the Notes app, allowing users to create profile cards without switching between multiple applications. Accessibility features have been improved as well, with adjustable Mouse Key speeds and enhanced TalkBack integration. A new Text Spotlight feature enlarges selected text inside a floating window to make reading easier.

The company says One UI 9 also focuses heavily on proactive security. The software can reportedly detect suspicious or potentially harmful apps more aggressively and warn users before installation or execution. Samsung may also recommend deleting risky applications through updated security policies.

While the beta is currently limited to the Galaxy S26 lineup, Samsung is already rolling out stable One UI 8.5 updates for older devices, which suggests wider One UI 9 beta support could arrive later. The stable version of One UI 9 is expected to debut alongside Samsung’s next flagship Galaxy smartphones later this year. Which One UI 9 feature are you most excited to try on your Galaxy device?

Oppo Find X9 Ultra launch date-

Oppo has confirmed that the Find X9s and Find X9 Ultra will launch in India on May 21. The new additions to the Find X9 lineup are heavily focused on photography, video recording and sustained flagship performance. Alongside upgraded Hasselblad camera systems, both devices also feature large silicon-carbon batteries and dedicated cooling technologies designed for extended camera use.

The Find X9 Ultra introduces Oppo’s latest Hasselblad Master Camera System paired with the company’s LUMO Image Engine for computational photography enhancements. The device features a 200-megapixel primary camera, a 200-megapixel 3x telephoto camera, and a dedicated 50-megapixel 10x optical telephoto camera designed for long-range shooting.

Oppo says the phone uses an industry-first Quintuple Prism Periscope Structure, where incoming light is reflected five times internally before reaching the sensor. This allows the device to deliver an approximate 230mm equivalent focal length without making the camera module excessively large. The company says the setup prioritizes optical image capture before software processing to preserve more natural details at higher zoom levels.

The Find X9 Ultra also supports O-Log2 recording, ACES color workflows, custom 3D LUT integration, 8K 30fps video recording and 4K 120fps recording across both the primary and telephoto cameras. Powering the device is the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset paired with OPPO’s Trinity Engine and a next-generation 3D Cryo-velocity Cooling System. The phone packs a 7050mAh silicon-carbon battery aimed at longer shooting endurance.

Oppo Find X9s brings flagship imaging in a slimmer body

The Find X9s comes with a triple 50-megapixel Hasselblad camera setup housed inside a slim 7.99mm body. It supports 4K 60fps Dolby Vision recording across all cameras and includes dual-video capture capabilities alongside AI-powered features through ColorOS 16.

The device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500s chipset built on a 3nm process. OPPO has also included an advanced vapor chamber cooling system with a 32,052.5mm² heat dissipation area and a 7025mAh silicon-carbon battery. To sum up, it is a toned-down version of the existing Find X9.

Pricing details for both models will be announced during the India launch event on May 21.

The iQOO 15T will become the first smartphone to feature the Dimensity 9500 Monster Edition chipset globally. The company claims the chip includes exclusive low-level tuning alongside the in-house Q3 gaming chip to deliver smoother frame rates and lower power consumption in demanding games such as Genshin Impact. iQOO says the phone can maintain near full-frame gameplay for 30 minutes while keeping power draw under 5W.

One of the biggest highlights of the device is its 6.82-inch 2K “Everest” flat display with narrow bezels. While many flagship phones have shifted back to 1.5K panels to reduce costs and simplify game optimisation, iQOO appears to be positioning the 15T as a premium performance phone that still prioritises display sharpness. The Q3 chip is also expected to support simultaneous 2K resolution and 144Hz frame interpolation during gaming.
