The iQOO 15 Ultra may not be arriving as soon as enthusiasts had hoped. Fresh commentary from a well-known Weibo tipster suggests the device’s timeline has shifted, raising new questions about when—or even if—the ultra-premium model will make its official debut.

The response was brief but telling, stating that the phone “seems to have been delayed.” No additional explanation was provided, but the comment fueled speculation around the status of iQOO’s most anticipated high-end variant.
The standard iQOO 15 was officially launched on October 20 this year. It is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip and includes a dedicated Q3 gaming chip, a 3x telephoto camera, a refined camera island design, and a 7,000mAh battery. On the front, the phone features a Samsung 2K M14 OLED display that reaches up to 2,600 nits in high-brightness mode and peaks at 6,000 nits. Coming back to the rumored “Ultra” model, the branding alone suggests it will be even more spec-heavy, at least in some areas—potentially offering a more capable camera system. Like the regular model, the iQOO 15 Ultra is expected to target a specific user base.
Taken together, the latest remarks reinforce the idea that iQOO’s Ultra model remains in limbo. For now, the iQOO 15 Ultra appears to be delayed, with its future hinging on internal decisions that have yet to be finalized.

The leak reveals that the upcoming iQOO Z-series phone will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, which recently went official. Considering the fact that it is a brand-new chip, this phone could be part of the next-generation Z11 Turbo Pro lineup, to be more precise.
The leak further reveals that the alleged iQOO Z11 Turbo Pro will have a 6.59-inch OLED panel offering a 1.5K resolution. Unfortunately, there is no other information available about this phone at the moment.

The alleged iQOO Z11 Turbo Pro is expected to rival the recently unveiled OnePlus Ace 6T, which also features the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, in China. The Realme Neo 8 Pro and Moto X70 Ultra, which is expected to launch globally as the Motorola Edge 70 Ultra, are also tipped to feature the same chipset.

The Chinese brand just started rolling out OriginOS 6 for the iQOO 13. This is a massive update that carries a hefty download size of 4.05GB. It brings the Android 16 OS along with various other additions and upgrades. To improve the overall user experience, OriginOS 6 packs the new Origin Smooth Engine to help boost app launch speeds, stabilize frame rates, and much more. UI has also been enhanced with smoother system animations and improved system resource management.
