Honor has officially introduced its new performance-focused smartphone lineup, the Honor Win series, in China. Positioned as an e-sports-centric flagship range, the series debuts with two models, Honor Win and Honor Win RT. Both devices focus on sustained gaming performance, long battery life, and thermal stability, highlighted by features such as a 10,000mAh Qinghai Lake battery, a built-in active cooling fan, a 185Hz high-refresh-rate display, and Snapdragon 8-series flagship chipsets.

Both Honor Win and Honor Win RT feature an identical physical footprint with a thickness of around 8.3mm and a metal frame paired with a glass-fibre rear panel. On the front, the devices sport a 6.83-inch flat LTPS OLED display with a 1.5K resolution of 2800 x 1272 pixels. The screen supports a 185Hz refresh rate, 480Hz touch sampling, and up to 5920Hz PWM dimming for eye comfort during extended gaming sessions. Additional display features include game-specific anti-dizziness modes and high peak brightness for outdoor visibility.

Under the hood, the Honor Win is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 mobile platform, while the Win RT uses the last year’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. Both phones are paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage, ensuring fast app loading and smooth multitasking.

The lineup is unified by a massive 10,000mAh Qinghai Lake silicon-carbon battery. Charging support includes 100W wired fast charging on both models, while the Honor Win also supports 80W wireless charging and up to 27W wired reverse charging. A built-in cooling fan with a rear air intake design helps maintain stable performance during prolonged gaming.

The Honor Win series runs on MagicOS based on Android 15 out of the box, with Honor confirming multiple Android version updates and extended security patch support. In terms of cameras, both phones feature a 50-megapixel front camera.

The Honor Win offers a triple rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel main sensor, a 50-megapixel telephoto lens, and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera. The Win RT comes with a dual rear camera system consisting of a 50MP main sensor and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide lens.

Other features include a 3D ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor, dual stereo speakers with Honor AI surround subwoofer technology, active cooling, and IP68, IP69, and IP69K-rated dust and water resistance. Its most notable feature is integrated satellite communication, bringing together LTE Direct-to-Cell, NB-IoT NTN, and NR-NTN on a single chip. This allows voice calls, text messaging, location sharing, and even video communication in areas with no terrestrial network coverage.

Beyond speed and coverage, Samsung has focused heavily on security. The modem supports Hybrid Post-Quantum Cryptography, ensuring sensitive data such as device identifiers remain protected against future quantum-based threats. Recent reports have revealed that the upcoming Vivo phone with model number V2538 will hit the market with the Vivo V70 moniker. Now, the device has also been certified in countries such as Malaysia, Thailand, and Indonesia.

Ahead of the expected launch, the phone has appeared on Geekbench benchmarking, revealing key details about its chipset.

Reports have revealed that the Honor Power 2 will feature the upcoming Dimensity 8500 chipset. This chip is also expected to power other phones, such as the Redmi Turbo 5 / Poco X8 Pro and Realme Neo 8 SE. The screenshot above seemingly reveals the Honor Power 2’s Geekbench listing, where it is reportedly labelled with the SER-AN00 model number.

The Geekbench listing reveals that it is powered by an upcoming MediaTek chip, which includes a prime CPU core clocked at 3.40GHz, three cores operating at 3.20GHz, and four cores running at 2.20GHz. For graphics, it is equipped with the Mali-G720 MC8 GPU.

Based on a previous leak, it can be said that this chip could be the upcoming Dimensity 8500. The handset has managed to score 1,532 points in the single-core test and 5,632 points in the multi-core test.

In comparison, the existing Dimensity 8400 chip has a 3.25GHz Cortex-A725 prime core, three Cortex-A725 cores clocked at 3.3GHz, four Cortex-A725 cores running at 2.1GHz, and a Mali-G720 MC7 GPU. This chip scores around 1,400 to 1,500 in the single-core test and around 5,600 in the multi-core test.

Coming back to the Honor Power 2 Geekbench listing, the device is equipped with 12GB of RAM and Android 16, with the MagicOS 10 layer on top.

Speaking of the phone, rumours suggest that the Honor Power 2 will arrive with a 6.79-inch OLED 1.5K display, a 16-megapixel front camera, and a 50-megapixel main camera on the back. It goes without saying that the major highlight of the phone will be its battery, which is said to be around 10,080mAh. The device will offer 80W charging and is expected to arrive in shades such as Midnight Black, Snow White, and Sunrise Orange.

Other Dimensity 8500 phones

The device will feature a 50-megapixel main camera, a large battery, and a built-in active cooling fan. The leak suggests that it will inherit these specifications from the K13 Turbo Pro.

While previous leaks claimed that the K15 Turbo Pro would feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chip, today’s leak reveals that it will instead be powered by the upcoming Dimensity 9500s chipset. The tipster has not shared any details about the chipset’s specifications.
