Here’s the first look at Samsung’s Wide Galaxy Z Fold

Samsung is getting ready to launch a new foldable phone, and we finally have our first look at it. Early test versions of One UI 9 include animations of a device believed to be the β€œWide” Galaxy Z Fold. This is the first official hint about its design, thanks to Android Authority.

The animations show a foldable phone that looks wider than the current Galaxy Z Fold. Both light and dark mode versions of the animation are included.

The device is connected to model number SM-F971U and codename H8, which were linked to the Wide Fold in earlier rumors. This makes it very likely that the phone shown is the new wider foldable.

These animations mainly show the shape and folding motion of the device. They do not include full details, like the camera design. It’s expected that the final phone will still have a normal camera setup on the back.

The wider design may give a bigger outer screen and a better viewing experience for users. The presence of the Wide Fold in One UI 9 suggests it could launch soon.

Samsung often releases new foldable phones during this time. The Wide Fold might come alongside the Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Galaxy Z Flip 8. While we wait for official photos, this leak gives us the clearest first look at Samsung’s possible new foldable.
