Early Galaxy S26 Ultra delivery surprises lucky customer

Samsung has just launched its new Galaxy S26 series, but one lucky customer has already received their Galaxy S26 Ultra. Samsung says official shipping will start on March 6, so getting the phone so early is unusual.

The lucky customer, a Reddit user named Boris499, got the Galaxy S26 Ultra less than 24 hours after the launch. Their first post was deleted because it showed the phone’s IMEI number, but later shared pictures show the back of the phone.

Boris499 shared that the phone was directly from Deutsche Telekom, which is T-Mobile’s parent company in Europe. The exact location is not known, but it seems buying from the carrier helped them get the phone quickly.

Pre-orders for the Galaxy S26 series started right after Samsung’s Unpacked event. Even if you order early, most people will still need to wait a few days or weeks to get their phone. Samsung says deliveries will officially begin on March 6, and the phones will be available in stores from March 11.

The Galaxy S26 series includes three models. In the US, the Galaxy S26 starts at $899.99, the Galaxy S26 Plus at $1,099.99, and the Galaxy S26 Ultra at $1,299.99. Samsung also offers trade-in discounts for customers upgrading from an older Samsung phone to make it easier to get the new model.
