Salah confirms Liverpool chapter is over
Liverpool fans were left shocked when Mohamed Salah officially confirmed he will leave the club at the end of the 2025/26 season.
The club also announced that the third-all-time leading goalscorer has reached an agreement with the Reds to bring his nine-year tenure to a close.
“Mohamed Salah is to bring the curtain down on his illustrious career with Liverpool Football Club at the end of the 2025-26 season. The time to fully celebrate his legacy and achievements will follow later in the year when he bids farewell to Anfield.”

Ramy Abbas says no decision made about Salah’s next club
There have been many rumours linking Salah with a move to Saudi Pro League, who have been after the winger since a long time.
MLS has also been mentioned as a possible destination should he seek a new challenge outside Europe.
With Salah now set to become the most wanted player across Europe, there will be plenty of speculations.
However, Ramy Abbas has been quick to shut down any confirmed claims about his client’s future with a characteristically blunt post.
Abbas posted on X: “We do not know where Mohamed will play next season. This also means that no one else knows. Beware of the click-****ing attention seekers.”

Salah will not be short of suitors
Despite the lack of a confirmed deal, the race for Salah’s signature is expected to be the biggest story of the summer transfer window.
Saudi giants Al Ittihad, who have long held an interest in the Egyptian captain, remain one of the favorites.
Meanwhile, various MLS franchises and top European sides are also expected to monitor the situation.
For now, Salah remains focused on finishing his Liverpool career on a high, with the club still competing for the FA Cup and the Champions League.
As Abbas suggests, fans will have to wait until the “Egyptian King” is ready to make his own announcement.
