Samsung’s Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Z Fold 7 start receiving the One UI 8.5 Beta 2 update. The OTA has just dropped in India and Korea, bringing the ZZCD build version. Beta participants also receive the March 2026 security patch alongside.

Just recently, Samsung dropped the 8th One UI 8.5 Beta for the Galaxy S25 series. Moments later, the Galaxy S24 series has joined the Beta Program. Now, all eyes are on the next wave of expansion for the 2024 foldable phones.

One UI 8.5 Beta 2 for Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Flip 7 focuses on polishing usability, addressing glitches across the interface, lock screen customization, and connected device behavior overall.

Key fixes improve Now Brief readability on the cover screen and resolve an issue where the lock screen clock style could get cropped after resizing in the editor properly.

Audio and camera behaviors are refined, fixing the Concert Hall mode not applying to Buds3 Pro and restoring missing shooting time indicators during palm gesture selfie video recording sessions for users.

Samsung also patches a file transfer problem that prevented certain folders from copying when using storage sharing between Galaxy Book 4 and the phone, improving cross-device reliability and consistency overall.
