Jalen Brunson Doesn’t Want to Celebrate Prematurely After Leading the Knicks to the Finals

Jalen Brunson led the Knicks to the Finals for the first time since 1999. It was a great achievement for the storied franchise that hasn’t won a title since 1973. However, Brunson isn’t satisfied with just leading New York to the Finals, and he wants to remain focused on the goal.

“My mindset is still the same. I’m obviously very excited,” he said, “but still a lot more work to be done.”

Brunson has been great for the Knicks in these playoffs, averaging 26.9 points, 2.8 rebounds and 6.6 assists in the first three rounds. The three-time All-Star is one of the main reasons why New York has been on an 11-game win streak.
