JBL has introduced the Flip Essential 3 SE Bluetooth speaker in China. The speaker is now available on JD.com for 899 yuan (about $130). This new model focuses on portability, durability, and high-quality audio performance.

JBL Flip Essential 3 SE Specifications

The JBL Flip Essential 3 SE features a dual-driver system with a 10W tweeter and a 20W racetrack-shaped woofer for clear sound and strong mid/low tones. Its two passive radiators enhance bass response, delivering deeper audio. It offers a frequency range of 63 Hz to 20 kHz, ensuring balanced sound quality across various music genres.

The speaker is compact (180 x 69.5 x 72 mm) and lightweight (0.55 kg), designed for easy portability. It includes a strap attachment for on-the-go use and offers an IP67 rating for water and dust resistance, ensuring durability in outdoor environments.

For connectivity, the speaker supports Bluetooth 5.4, which ensures faster pairing and more stable connections. It also offers SBC and AAC audio codec compatibility for consistent wireless streaming. JBL added Auracast support to the device, allowing users to connect multiple speakers or create a stereo setup by pairing two Flip Essential 3 SE units.

The JBL Flip Essential 3 SE provides 12 hours of playback and recharges in 3 hours via USB Type-C. JBL also provides app support for the speaker through the JBL Portable app, which lets users adjust sound settings, control multi-speaker setups, and switch playback modes.

The company used recycled materials, including metal, plastic, and fabric, to build the Flip Essential 3 SE.
