GROVETOWN, Ga. (WJBF) – Grovetown High School held an athlete signing day on Monday, and honored the late Elijah Lemeuble.

Those present gathered for a standing ovation, honoring the soccer standout that tragically drowned earlier this month.

Elijah was committed to Huston-Tillotson University.

“We can remind ourselves to not take a single day, a single training session, or a single opportunity for granted.”
