The Howard High School of Technology boy's basketball team was recognized Wednesday for winning the state championship.

A police escort paraded the team around Wilmington, before they were escorted back to the school.

The wildcats were greeted by fellow students and staff, who were cheering them as they arrived back on campus.

This was the basketball program's fifth DIAA championship title.
